Can't believe I slept on this movie for so long. When I finally got around to watching it, it instantly became one of my favorites.

It's so cheesy I love it. Found it because of bubblegum crysis.

        Bubblegum Crisis bro!

For me it was the other way, as a kid i went to rent a VHS with my mom back in the day, i had seen Blade Runner and Streets of Fire and loved them, chad clerk told me he had just what i was looking for and handed to me 2 VHS tapes with the first 3 OVAS of Bubblegum crisis... it was wonderful.

God bless this man what a legend introducing kids to kino. Armitage the third also scratches that itch for me despite it flaws. Ghost in the shell 1995 is THE animated cyberpunk movie for me.

Probably my favourite scene set to music (spoiler warning I suppose). The Court of the Crimson King scene from Children of Men is also great..

    Based streets of fire poster.
I'd rate the opening of The Hunger as another favorite, basically a full performance of Bella Lugosi's Dead while two vampires eat goths.

I can't find a video of it but the scene in Castle In The Sky where Pazu plays his trumpet to wake up the valley is one of the most sovlful and pleasant scenes in film.
