inb4 "WELL ACKSTUALLY Jeff slipped on the scuff mark that the store manager pointed out to her assistant". Wrong, sweatie. A scuff mark actually provides friction, not slipperiness, and she told her assistant to get it fixed anyway, meaning it wouldn't have been there when Jeff entered the department store.
>A scuff mark actually provides friction, not slipperiness, and she told her assistant to get it fixed anyway, meaning it wouldn't have been there when Jeff entered the department store.
She told the employee to get a janitor who would have mopped the area after cleaning the scuff, causing it to be be a slippery area. THAT was the point of the scuff mark scene, not that scuff marks are slippery.
>Jeff confronted Saul at the mall because he was actually a..... Le FANBOY xD
Never implied he was. >He didn't sell out Saul to the police for $5,000,000 (FIVE MILLION DOLLARS) because he wanted to..... Le COMMIT CRIME WITH HIS CELEBRITY CRUSH xD
Saul is a fugitive and was the right hand man of one of the most notorious drug lords in history. It's to frame Gene doing his "Slipping Jimmy" thing, which is why he puts on Marco's ring.
Any other points you need me to blow you out on, poop brain?
>Peter Gould has said for months that Better Call Saul's ending will be "Unusual Way to End a TV Series" that will either hit the mark or be polarizing
Just enjoy the ride. We're in uncharted territory. No one expected a Gene episode right now or the Jeff storyline to be wrapped up, enjoy the kino
I really can't see what narrative this season is going for so it's impossible to see an ending. I guess the most telling episode we got was episode 9, detailing Kim's reason for the breakup, explaining that they're too toxic together and hurt people. And then the entire Saul persona being a cope for Kim leaving.
So I guess the finale will deal with those issues? Of Jimmy and Kim's relationship and whether they can reconcile and survive together knowing how they've hurt people and whether there's a future for them where they don't?
Feels weird how I have to extrapolate from pretty much just one episode to get any idea of where the finale is headed.

Hehehhehehehe
Everything we've been building up to?
NOPE! Hehueheuhe
One thing you have to understand, kid, is that when a franchise is handed over to me, I AM IN CONTROL.
YOUR FANTASIES ARE MY PLAYTHING
Long story short, doing something purely to "subvert expectations" has created some of the worst cinema and television in history. Things shouldn't be expected and entirely predicted, but it has to follow a cohesive and believable narrative. We don't expect formulaic standard filmography from these guys, but at the same time, they shouldn't subvert expectations at the cost of lowering the bar in terms of the high standard of quality we've come to expect from them.
>Jeff storyline to be wrapped up
He gets caught trying to fence them, gives up Saul for leniency, I really doubt that Marion's part is completely done.
In No Man's Sky you can land on Asteroids, play multiplayer with your friends and no one knows what happens when you get to the center of the galaxy yet omg I can't wait for the release day I'll spend days grinding it to get there.
It's not even Jeff's new actor. It's Douglas Murray. Was just testing if people would see the difference and nobody did. He looks exactly like the new actor.

The Germans should have never been in the show. Lalo and Nacho should have gotten wrapped up in S5. S6 should’ve been all Gene with splinters of Saul and Jimmy flashbacks
agreed, so much of bcs felt like the writers were too concerned that jimmys story would interfere with their cartel subplot so they just stretched out or drip fed jimmys story throughout the series.

When Disney buys the Vinceverse they will make it, the fans will get product
My guess is that Jimmy's going to spot her from a distance but stay away out of concern for both of their well-beings. She'll probably be doing really well for herself and get back into practicing law or something
>intentionally recast jeff >gene is schizophrenic after years of repression and prescrition drug abuse >Walt kills Gene in the penultimate episode >final episode reveals that jimmy only imagined the gene timeline >final scene is Jesse, Walt, Kim, Howard, Nacho, Lalo and Chuck surrounding Jimmy and clapping and praising him
Vince and peter died from covid, they are keeping this a secret and it will be revealed after the final episode ends.
the episodes plots are made using an advanced AI, they are testing the waters to procedurally create new series and be able to pump them at a faster rate
He orchestrated it! Vince! He DEFECATED out that filler episode! And I watched it! I shouldn't have! I watched it in my own time, what was I THINKING?! He'll never change. He'll NEVER change!
People are saying this episode was unnecessary, but if you remember S05E01, where Jeff interacts with Gene in the mall, Jimmy then phones up the vacuum guy asking for a new identity, before saying he'll handle the situation himself.
So I guess we needed to see how he was going to resolve this situation himself. And yesterday's episode was that - him handling the situation of being noticed.
>It was implied he would have handled it with violence, it’s just disappointing they didn’t go that route
Jimmy has always been a cucaracha, he can't really be violent, the biggest confrontations he had ended up with him kicking down a door, defecating through a sunroof or threatening to shoot thunderbolts from his fingers.
>It was implied he would have handled it with violence
Was it?
This, this scene is so great because he's steeling himself to do something painful
Now we learn it was just to pull some dumb hijinks
>It was implied he would have handled it with violence, it’s just disappointing they didn’t go that route
Jimmy has always been a cucaracha, he can't really be violent, the biggest confrontations he had ended up with him kicking down a door, defecating through a sunroof or threatening to shoot thunderbolts from his fingers.
[...]
No, he said he was going to fix it himself.
>Jimmy has always been a cucaracha
And the guy who thought he was a cucaracha had him at gunpoint and killed his friend right in front of him while Jimmy was helpless.
It would've been interesting to see Jimmy defy expectations and do something we haven't seen before. When he got robbed by those kids in S4 he got Huell and the other guy to help intimidate him. I'd expect something along those lines, or some other elaborate prank to maintain Jeff's silence. Something a lot more interesting.
>defy expectations
This is /bcs/, we don't do that here. They did it two times this season: one was the timeskip, which most people liked it, and the other was the entire last episode, which absolutely divided the fanbase, nobody expected an entire Gene episode.
i expected several gene episodes, i though that was going to be the show after they did the timeskip to saul. the gene cold opens set it up as jeff being a problem gene would have to deal with, i did not expect anything we got in that episode, so bravo vince i guess.
I actually though the mark on the floor will forshadow that the guy on the floor sweeper will be there and Jeff gets caught
I was so fricking sure about it because during Jimmy montage he always nods to the guy driving it meaning he always cleaning those floors and not the cleaning senction but when it was going down he was not there.
not the same anon but: >finally gene >no cartel shit, no gus, no salamonkeys >return to more comical / upbeat personality >hatches a well-put-together plan >has a good reason for doing it >mall kino >butthole security guard is eventually so buddy-buddy with gene that they’re playing around like bros >Jeff absolutely BTFO by chad gene
>hatches a well-put-together plan
this is the problem, it wasn't well-put-together. it was moronic, mutually assured destruction is moronic, any DA would instantly give jeffy blanket immunity for information on saul.
saul created a cluster frick of a situation with jeff, told him he would get him in the game(moronic, but fine.) gets him in the game doing a meme heist to entrap him in a rico case, tells him he entrapped him and to frick off and leave him alone.
so now jeff who already threatened to turn in saul has no reason not to, even if he doesn't turn saul in he's sitting on thousands of dollars of stolen shit. saul took one loose end and turned in into half a dozen. not to mention jeffys friend who saul just fricked for no real reason.
>any DA would instantly give jeffy blanket immunity for information on saul.
Thankfully he's a moron and wouldn't know this

>any DA would instantly give jeffy blanket immunity for information on saul
This implies that Jeff would try it
Which he wouldn't
Because he isn't a legal expert
Because he's moronic
so what exactly was the point of jeff? he recognized saul in the cab, tracked him down in the mall, told saul he was never more than a few minutes away, and that next time saul would give a better delivery with 'better call saul!' what exactly was the point of jeff? why not just extort saul, why do a meme heist for a few thousand dollars when he could have just said 'give me a bag of money or i talk' >oohh i can read your soul, you don't want to extort me, you want in on the game!
kek what drivel

So, it's implied by Jeff's mom that he has some criminal past in ABQ and believe or not some people don't wanna be fricking taxi driving neets their whole lives so he saw Gene as opportunity to make good cash but instead Gene fricked him over after 1 heist and says it's over. by doing that shit it shows us that Gene has returned to his roots, not of saul goodman but of slippin jimmy.
fricking morons here literally never even read a childrens book if they cant comprehend basic storytelling and character motivations
>any DA would instantly give jeffy blanket immunity for information on saul

also >told about MAD by a lawyer, and a good one at that (and someone jeff likes)
Why wouldn't he trust Jimmy? Literally nothing to gain by rolling that dice
He dealt with it Saul style, and like all things it will probably backfire spectacularly. That's why he returned to the store, he loves the game and most likely will return to it. Dude can't help himself.
kim will have a husband, gus will have sex with a man possibly mike, gene gets a real dog and names it nippy to cope with sadness of kims husband, and walter white is alive and reminisces with gene but he dies of cancer anyway at the end of final episode.
Why didn’t Gene kill Jeff? That’s what he was planning to do for years now, going by the phone call. It’s like they had the m60 and refused to use it, just disappointing and not even badass like breaking bad
That's after he set his plan to rob the clothes place with Jeff in motion. It was only like a week after Gene's phone call to the Disappearer that he started this plan. I don't get it, do you think he spent years visiting the security guard?
Bruh Vincels keep asking for it and there isn't much to tell tbh. He was a druglord because of the money he got as an enforcer under Pinochet. There really isn't much more to say.
they clearly never intended for the jeff storyline to go this way, it was originally going to be a real threat but then I suppose they saw how much people loved the relationship drama and decided to ditch the life-or-death climax with a will-they-wont-they climax of kim and gene finding each other.
and secondly I really fricking hate the "entire episode is in black and white" meme its literally marvel-tier (wandavision). vince.... ya blew it bud
>and secondly I really fricking hate the "entire episode is in black and white" meme
It made sense when it was just for Gene flash forwards, but it didn't work for a whole episode.
We should've got a fade to colour at some point, undoubtedly they're going to do that later on.
>We should've got a fade to colour at some point, undoubtedly they're going to do that later on.
yeah just like in wandavision, it will be vinces grand finale and its just another stolen concept like breaking bad was stolen from weeds.
Only three more episodes for the Time Machine to be introduced. I can't believe they wasted a full episode on "developing Jimmy/Saul/Gene's character."
This one's going on the "mad sketchy" chart along with the tedious af Chuck episodes.
Man, Vince and the team are just behind the curve. In storytelling you gotta deliver what the audience wants. It’s the agreement between the audience and the company producing the show. They make the product people want to see. They’re way behind Disney and Netflix in this regard
How the frick is Alpine Shephard Boy the lowest, that's the episode where Chuck goes to hospital and we learn what's wrong with him/ see it's psychosomatic
It's also the beginning of Jimmy's elder law stuff
Rebecca is also the episode where Chuck tells Kim that Jimmy would steal from their parents' store.
I'm just glad that the extended sex scene between Kim and Huell was cut at the last minute. That was a weird narrative path to take, and I'm glad that they removed it, even if it did mean an unplanned mid-season break so they could work around it and have Kim leave Jimmy followed by a time-skip instead of the intermittent Huell timeline.
You can still see some of the funk and soul music they were going to use in the credits for "Fun and Games" since they were working against the clock to get the edit done, it was an oversight.
Huell really did eat Kim out.
>plebs don't understand that Jeff's look was always in Gene's head >he sees him as an intimating mobster type when he was vulnerable Gene >after he becomes Saul again and regains his confidence he sees him for what he really is, just a mama's boy all bark no bite
>BBC
I actually got a small preview of the original cut since I'm a film student working in NM, currently doing an apprenticeship in various studios around the city.
Huells arteries are literally full of lard.
Even with viagra, it's a stump at best, but he has the girth of a Pepsi can and it isn't about size, but what you do with it.
For such a unit, you would be surprised how nimble and flexible he is.
Lots of practice I guess, the ladies just can't resist a metric ton of lovin' from our Huell.
This threads such a perfect example of how easy it is for a couple of autist to feign mass outrage by replying to every post and cherrypicking anything that makes their "case" despite it being so out of touch with reality.
It's incredibly sad that the only way they can derive any sense of power is by obsessively broadcasting their opinions on media in hopes that people will turn against it.
>I'm not in the minority, the internet is lying to me! >T-they're frauds! Hack frauds! >I liked the episode so any contrary opinion is some form of vote-rigging magic trick >If you look very closely, there are bamboo fibres in some of these replies, implying they aren't legitimate
Nah, everyone knows better by now. You morons have been doing this shit for years now, it's all too predictable for anyone who 't been on this site for more than a week
Thia episode was a live action adaptation of Slippin Jimmy from start to finish. >Jeff slips and conveniently gets up in time >wacky fat cop and Gene scenes straight >Marion opening the door to find the 3 boys fixing the car >cartoonish dialogue between Marion, Gene and Saul in the beggining (the kitchen scenes and the "call me dad" line) >new Jeff straight from a cartoon
This was unexcusable and has no place in the finale. The whole thing could be summarized in a cold open.
The main problem of this episode wasn't the pedantic shit you autists always harp about.
The problem was that they made it feel too easy. There were no stakes, no fear.
For years now, they've shown us how fearful Gene is of everything: scared of Jeff, scared to get to the hospital, scared of mall cops. He's even scared at home he always has the police scanner on. He should be scared! He's one of the most wanted men ever!
But now Jeff isn't a threat, he's a damn fool. Gene plays everyone like a fool actually and gets everything he wants.
What's so disappointing is after brilliantly creating a very stressing and scary world in the Gene timeline, they undermined they're own creation.
The episode was fine I guess but it could've been so much more.
The Marion stuff should have been the focus. Gene infiltrating Jeff's world and live through the mother, manipulating her and playing her to get to Jeff.
I couldn't agree more. I mean, his entire plan was hinged on a really tacky, poorly written dialogue about how >you want in the game, don't you?
He didn't know this individual in the slightest and that could have gone astray very badly. A lot of things that Gene was fearful of and constantly looking over his shoulder in relation to were suddenly thrown out of the window as if they were nothing and that creation of a tense atmosphere, one that has taken many seasons to carefully craft, has been thrown away almost entirely.
>could have gone astray very badly
This is every plot line in BCS, Mike even says it to Gus. Everyone scrapes by with the narrowest of margins, every time and then conveniences happen to get them out of it.
Him getting his confidence back isn't what I want to see, I want him to suffer and to always suffer
Enjoy the finale of Saul continuing to con and scam people.
I can see this, I will say that I felt legitimate tension during the security guard stunt and I thought he might finally get caught for daring to risk everything again. The fact that he got away with it does undermine the atmosphere a bit.
Gene was fearful. We saw him listen to the police scanner. We saw him hesitate before knocking on the security door. We saw him take out his ring to use as some kind of confidence boost just to go through with it. After he pulls off the scam he puts his head in his hands.
Yeah, it always seemed like Gene has to tread lightly, always on the lookout always stayling out of trouble. But here he pulls of his regular shenanigans like he always did, suggesting he can always do what he wants at a moments notice. Maybe that's the point. We always thought that Gene lives a shitty life in hiding without being in control but he actually is still the same person and does what he wants after hours.
The complete ABQ Multiverse will ultimately feature six television shows (each with a different color as a theme) and seven films.
SHOWS >BREAKING BAD
Green >BETTER CALL SAUL
Red >BLACK AND BLUE
Blue >HERMANOS
Yellow >APPLE PIE AND CHEVROLET
Purple >SALAMANCA
Orange
FILMS >EL CAMINO >DISBARRED >SOLID >ESPOSA >ARRESTED >PLEAS
All of which builds to a final film called ESCAPED (check the names of the other films) in which the central characters of each film, Jesse, Kim, Kaylee, Martina Fring, Walt Jr. and Julio Salamanca, find themselves brought together by the strange hand of fate.
Sorry for the "reddit" question, but what do you guys suppose Jimmy would be categorized as by a psychologist?
I'd say he has psychopathic tendencies but isn't necessarily a psychopath. He acts in a way that's intentionally harmful towards others, yet, doesn't really grasp the consequences of his actions until he's confronted by them which is when he usually shows remorse. To that same extent, he's capable of being very genuine and caring, but can just as easily "disconnect" when it's too much of an inconvenience to care.
Much like "Heisenberg", I think Saul WAS Jimmy's alter-ego he used to get ahead when he'd always been told that Jimmy's a waste of space getting in the way of important people which allowed him to become manipulative and calculating.
and before someone gives me shit, I know that's a surface-level interpretation that's pretty blatantly spelled out, just curious what other people think of him.
Anyone have a few webm's of the fat guy eating cinabons?

>A scuff mark actually provides friction, not slipperiness, and she told her assistant to get it fixed anyway, meaning it wouldn't have been there when Jeff entered the department store.
She told the employee to get a janitor who would have mopped the area after cleaning the scuff, causing it to be be a slippery area. THAT was the point of the scuff mark scene, not that scuff marks are slippery.

How's he in the game now? How's he even gonna sell this shit without Saul's connections?
What part of he wants to be in the game don't you understand?
>in the game
>pulling a hair brained scheme that could be found on totse shoplifting general back in '08
lmao
so we all agree that Jeff is supposed to be mentally handicapped, right?
Pretty sure he got lobotomised before this latest episode
He moved back in with his mother so she could take care of him during his recovery
Maybe he hadn't seen those posters
Thanks, you just ruined the whole thread. Hope you're happy
How?
>Peter Gould has said for months that Better Call Saul's ending will be "Unusual Way to End a TV Series" that will either hit the mark or be polarizing
Just enjoy the ride. We're in uncharted territory. No one expected a Gene episode right now or the Jeff storyline to be wrapped up, enjoy the kino
The finale will literally just be 50 minutes of Bob shitting in a bucket with diarrhea. People don't like it, that means it's high art!
TIMELINE BROS, ARE YOU READY?
HI MY NAME IS RIIIAAN JOHNSON
AM I SUBVERTING YOUR EXPECTATION?
ARE YOU FEELING FRICKED WITH?
BLUE TITTY MILK?
STRAIGHT FROM THE TIT?
I'm ready for the Gouldkino
>they really are going to filter heckin BBlets this time
Alien in 2022
>Jeff storyline to be wrapped up
He gets caught trying to fence them, gives up Saul for leniency, I really doubt that Marion's part is completely done.
i dont believe anything these morons say about the show
BROS WERE GONNA GIVE YOU BB CHARS THIS EPISODE!
GUS FINDS LOVE!!!
all lies
In No Man's Sky you can land on Asteroids, play multiplayer with your friends and no one knows what happens when you get to the center of the galaxy yet omg I can't wait for the release day I'll spend days grinding it to get there.

unironically good now
Nope. Aimless exploration and crafting.
Extremely favourably.
>Aimless exploration and crafting
that's based

>this is your new Jeff
the old jeff had a more memorable face
It's not even Jeff's new actor. It's Douglas Murray. Was just testing if people would see the difference and nobody did. He looks exactly like the new actor.
why recast a wrinkly faced italian with a smooth faced irishman?
Get trolled, b***h.
no that is him
I have Prosopagnosia (face blindness, basically) and unironically thought it was Howard coming back when I saw him at first.
Why this threads are filled with shitposters?
Not my call
Black person
It really could have been different bros. You just know they recast Jeff because the original guy would have been violent
This show is scared of violence. Nothing happens: the show
>entire episode in black and white
It didn't need to be like this bros
I legit thought it was gonna go full color when the camera lingered on the flashy shirt/tie
Why does Gene look like Ned Flanders?
He wasn't in the game.
I skip all Gene scenes, this episode wasn't great
ayo dis show gone back to bein some wyt ppl shit fr
>Kim… is that you? After all this time?
>Oh, Jimmy. I…
>From behind a tree comes Cliff

It's a shame this show is ending in three weeks because I would've looked forward to several years of people calling each other Vinsiders
Well guys, has this season gone down the way you think it would have?
The Germans should have never been in the show. Lalo and Nacho should have gotten wrapped up in S5. S6 should’ve been all Gene with splinters of Saul and Jimmy flashbacks
Mike and the Germans should have been it's own spinoff show
agreed, so much of bcs felt like the writers were too concerned that jimmys story would interfere with their cartel subplot so they just stretched out or drip fed jimmys story throughout the series.
no, jeff should have taken the 5 million, he could have been a teenage retiree.
Just shows you that jeff was no solid guy.
>people are really getting caught on “lmao he slipped on a scuff mark”
the absolute state of vincephobes
>"Ask maintenance to give this area a polish"
Lol, I bet he's gonna slip
>He actually slips
VINCE I KNEEL
I'm honestly appalled at how easy it is to bait the vincelets, that same pasta has been posted for months now
Low Mikeposting activity recently. Mikebros, I need the solid guys to give me backup.
All the solid guys were killed by Walter in jail… we’re post-BB, anon.
really disappointing getting new episodes with 0 mention of kims feet. theres only 3 eps left ffs
the episode that filtered the fanbase
The most important episode of the series. The one that filtered all the casuals.
>You're Slippin' Nippy!
These threads are too fast to read
Where is Howard during all this? I bet he’s probably finding a new law firm to work at, after HHM downsized
In jail for man slaughter (jury couldnt decide between murder or self defense)
Terrible show.
The merits of the story in Nippy are debatable but it's beautifully shot as always. The best camerawork on TV. Kino.
Im not your fren I gave your (you) and if you get greddy and come back for more don't. Cinemaphile you never heard of it you see me posting go to another thread.
I WONT TELL IF YOU WONT
I'LL LOOK THE OTHER WAY ISN'T THAT CONVENIENT
Thanks for the Cinnabon, Gene but I've gotta watch the cameras. I'll eat and work at the same time, shhh, hehe.
>comfy gene episode that wraps up his paranoia about Jeff is the worst thing in the world since it’s not Kim reunion or chicanery
Nah it's bad because it's incredibly disappointing.
holy mother of strawmanning
>s-strawman! Strawman!
You need industrial-grade takes, our guys are gonna chew through consumer.
>Bringing up Kim and Chicanery out of nowhere
>not strawmanning
>just ignore the kimheads in the previous thread
okay anon.
I just searched every mention of Kim from the last thread and nobody said this episode should've had a Kim reunion
Didn't see anything about Chicanery either.
just look a little harder anon
There literally isn't a single mention of chicanery in the thread
cope more
I cannot fricking stand Gusgays obsessed with le.... CHILE xD backstory
>cope more
You’re wasting your time scouring the previous thread for things that don’t exist to win an argument, anon. I think you should eat your burger and move on
I literally used the search function for chicanery and nothing came up, took two seconds
So you admit you have no argument, nice
I’m just here to irritate people anon. Cinemaphile and Cinemaphile are the easiest boards to bait, and you’re gobbling the cheese like a hungry frenchman
>I'm an ebin baitmaster xD
Take a good, hard look at your life anon
pretty content anon, i’m out in my garden on a sunny day arguing with contrarians on this board. how is it?
>pretending to be moronic
>I cannot fricking stand Gusgays obsessed with le.... CHILE xD backstory
I'm not obsessed, but they kept bringing it up as if to tease a reveal. Guarantee the only reason they didn't show it is to keep a Gus spinoff on the shelf.
When Disney buys the Vinceverse they will make it, the fans will get product
I really hope a Kim reunion doesn't happen. would be so based
>I really hope a Kim reunion doesn't happen. would be so based
As if the writers would miss such an opportunity.
Me too. Kim coomers will kill themselves and it will be epic.
My guess is that Jimmy's going to spot her from a distance but stay away out of concern for both of their well-beings. She'll probably be doing really well for herself and get back into practicing law or something
Am I the only moron who thought that Kim was going to appear at the department store?
Is it just me, or did last nights episode literally feel like a dream?
The plot felt like something I would have formed in a dream during REM sleep.
Gene and Saul working together to steal clothes and eating Cinnabon’s and crying about his brother being dead? Sounds absolutely bonkers.
>Gene and Saul
>Is it just me, or did last nights episode literally feel like a dream?
I thought it felt very different, I couldn't describe it.
it feels like a dream, because it is a dream
>intentionally recast jeff
>gene is schizophrenic after years of repression and prescrition drug abuse
>Walt kills Gene in the penultimate episode
>final episode reveals that jimmy only imagined the gene timeline
>final scene is Jesse, Walt, Kim, Howard, Nacho, Lalo and Chuck surrounding Jimmy and clapping and praising him
I’d love BCS to have a mindfrick ending as Gene dips back into paranoia. Just make things go fricking wild, filter everybody and call it wraps.
Vince and peter died from covid, they are keeping this a secret and it will be revealed after the final episode ends.
the episodes plots are made using an advanced AI, they are testing the waters to procedurally create new series and be able to pump them at a faster rate
yeah i genuinely dont know whether it was a good episode or not im just watching it like what the frick is happening
vince and gould literally broke me with this shit
Speedwatchers were right
>most intelligent nippy hater
why is he so obsessed with a show he apparently thinks is shit?
lmao, based, Vincelets have NO response to this
wtf is animal kingdom btw?
I think I understand why Vincelets so vehemently defend this show now, they think everyone hating this season is as dumb as this guy
meth teeth
>black and white
bravo
>bald ugly old man
is he auditioning to be in the next show in the Vinceverse?
elpressador still exists?
biblical beast
TACTICAL?
Hail to the Kingdom!
He orchestrated it! Vince! He DEFECATED out that filler episode! And I watched it! I shouldn't have! I watched it in my own time, what was I THINKING?! He'll never change. He'll NEVER change!
It was nice to see Bob be chipper and lively again tbh
The meepy ptsd Saul Bob was just not as compelling
IT'S WINTER AND ALL THE TREES HAVE LEAVES
ALSO WHAT THE FRICK WITH ALL THE SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEIRD SHOTS WHERE EVERYONE IS STANDING FAR APART FROM EACHOTHER
THIS SHOW IS NOW OFFICIALLY ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT
>no more mike appearances ahead
thank fricking christ. was getting tired of this 90 year old man shuffling around.
he is DONE
me? king of the rats? okay
>It was implied he would have handled it with violence
Was it?
Yes, haven’t you seen breaking bad?
Jimmy is a pussy, his entire character is being charismatic slime.
So in Breaking Bad, Saul implies that he's going to solve a future problem, that he hasn't encountered yet, with violence?
When? Maybe he does but I don't remember it
When he threatens to kill badger
he suggests someone else do it
He advises them to kill Badger, not him doing it himself. Jimmy is a pussy, always has been and likely will be.
No, he said he was going to fix it himself.
This, this scene is so great because he's steeling himself to do something painful
Now we learn it was just to pull some dumb hijinks
I see your point, anon. But he didn't use a machine gun against Jeff, not even a giant magnet.
I was thinking the same. Probably an intentional red herring to make the slip more of a shock.
THE
EPISODE
THAT
SPLIT
/TV/
The split was always there, the kino simply revealed it
>it's such a great episode! no i can't tell you why.. f-filtered!
what was so good about the episode anon?
the cinnabuns
You should read the threads instead of speedposting
not the same anon but:
>finally gene
>no cartel shit, no gus, no salamonkeys
>return to more comical / upbeat personality
>hatches a well-put-together plan
>has a good reason for doing it
>mall kino
>butthole security guard is eventually so buddy-buddy with gene that they’re playing around like bros
>Jeff absolutely BTFO by chad gene
>hatches a well-put-together plan
this is the problem, it wasn't well-put-together. it was moronic, mutually assured destruction is moronic, any DA would instantly give jeffy blanket immunity for information on saul.
saul created a cluster frick of a situation with jeff, told him he would get him in the game(moronic, but fine.) gets him in the game doing a meme heist to entrap him in a rico case, tells him he entrapped him and to frick off and leave him alone.
so now jeff who already threatened to turn in saul has no reason not to, even if he doesn't turn saul in he's sitting on thousands of dollars of stolen shit. saul took one loose end and turned in into half a dozen. not to mention jeffys friend who saul just fricked for no real reason.
>any DA would instantly give jeffy blanket immunity for information on saul.
Thankfully he's a moron and wouldn't know this
so what exactly was the point of jeff? he recognized saul in the cab, tracked him down in the mall, told saul he was never more than a few minutes away, and that next time saul would give a better delivery with 'better call saul!' what exactly was the point of jeff? why not just extort saul, why do a meme heist for a few thousand dollars when he could have just said 'give me a bag of money or i talk'
>oohh i can read your soul, you don't want to extort me, you want in on the game!
kek what drivel
So, it's implied by Jeff's mom that he has some criminal past in ABQ and believe or not some people don't wanna be fricking taxi driving neets their whole lives so he saw Gene as opportunity to make good cash but instead Gene fricked him over after 1 heist and says it's over. by doing that shit it shows us that Gene has returned to his roots, not of saul goodman but of slippin jimmy.
fricking morons here literally never even read a childrens book if they cant comprehend basic storytelling and character motivations
>any DA would instantly give jeffy blanket immunity for information on saul
This implies that Jeff would try it
Which he wouldn't
Because he isn't a legal expert
Because he's moronic
also
>told about MAD by a lawyer, and a good one at that (and someone jeff likes)
Why wouldn't he trust Jimmy? Literally nothing to gain by rolling that dice
He dealt with it Saul style, and like all things it will probably backfire spectacularly. That's why he returned to the store, he loves the game and most likely will return to it. Dude can't help himself.
As an inventory specialist I have to say their plan wouldn’t work.
As a guy fricking your ass, UGHHHH YESSS UAGHHHHJ
wym? how often do you do inventory?
Because the managers would know all the displays were switched, you fricked up their displays regardless of however they tried to replace them
>displays were switched
anon he didn't move shit around, he took 3 items and ran off
Why not? Surely they're not checking inventory every single day?
OH NO NO NO NO SCORE BROS WE GOT TOO wienerY
Cope
>7.5 by the end of the week
OH NO NO NO NO
kim will have a husband, gus will have sex with a man possibly mike, gene gets a real dog and names it nippy to cope with sadness of kims husband, and walter white is alive and reminisces with gene but he dies of cancer anyway at the end of final episode.
Why didn’t Gene kill Jeff? That’s what he was planning to do for years now, going by the phone call. It’s like they had the m60 and refused to use it, just disappointing and not even badass like breaking bad
>That’s what he was planning to do for years now,
How do you think this? It's only like a week later in Gene timeline
>It's only like a week later in Gene timeline
No it isn't
Gene talks to the security guard about weekly football matches multiple times
That's after he set his plan to rob the clothes place with Jeff in motion. It was only like a week after Gene's phone call to the Disappearer that he started this plan. I don't get it, do you think he spent years visiting the security guard?
I didn't say years
You're wading into a discussion where a guy said Gene was planning on killing Jeff for years.
Just like "Fly," Cinemaphile has once again been filtered.
Today's episode was kino of the highest caliber
Gene-o
Does anyone have a Youtube link to the Chuck dub an anon did a while ago?
american cinnamon buns are disgusting
All the characters' arcs have wound down. They're all dead, or gone, or in exile.
How on earth are you that much of a brainlet to think this show will end in a le shocking violent gun TWEEST way?
Because that’s what the breaking bad universe is. It’s what I was promised
You don't understand, anon. We NEED to know what happened in Santiago, it's the most important question of the BB universe.
Bruh Vincels keep asking for it and there isn't much to tell tbh. He was a druglord because of the money he got as an enforcer under Pinochet. There really isn't much more to say.
Yeah, that's right, I'm strawmanning. Whatchu gonna do about it, pussies?
they clearly never intended for the jeff storyline to go this way, it was originally going to be a real threat but then I suppose they saw how much people loved the relationship drama and decided to ditch the life-or-death climax with a will-they-wont-they climax of kim and gene finding each other.
and secondly I really fricking hate the "entire episode is in black and white" meme its literally marvel-tier (wandavision). vince.... ya blew it bud
>black and white is a marvel thing
Lmfao
>and secondly I really fricking hate the "entire episode is in black and white" meme
I've never watched Wandavision but Disney certainly doesn't have a monopoly on the entire "fade to colour" trope
dunno if youre trolling or actually this much of an ignorant zoomer
Spot on
I was able to binge breaking bad as I was late to the party, but I watched bcs episode by episode and I'm fricking mad
BCS finale will be open-ended. IQlets filtered once again.
why was last episode grey? did they run out of tape of colour towards the end of season?
>still no howard fake death reveal
I'm starting to worry howiebros
Vince is such a fricking hack, where is Howard during all this???
kino watch
Only three more episodes for the Time Machine to be introduced. I can't believe they wasted a full episode on "developing Jimmy/Saul/Gene's character."
This one's going on the "mad sketchy" chart along with the tedious af Chuck episodes.
There's still time (hehe)
better call kino
OMG IS THAT A HECKIN SLOW BURNER BLACK AND WHITE EPISODE
BRAVO VINCE
It really is the best looking TV show out there.
the only kino thing about the show is its cinematography game at this point
>DUDE RULES OF THREE LMAO MAKES IT SOOOO KINO!!!!11
>I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS BUT WOAAAAAAAH
Man, Vince and the team are just behind the curve. In storytelling you gotta deliver what the audience wants. It’s the agreement between the audience and the company producing the show. They make the product people want to see. They’re way behind Disney and Netflix in this regard
trust the plan, you little shits.
Is the plan going to work?
>(Okay we're back to the baseball analogies!)
reddit
When was the last time Gilligan did an episode?
ep 8
*ruins the final season of your kino*
Memes aside though, wtf was this episode even? Literally nothing happened. How does this have 8.9 on IMDB?
be careful midwits will come and tell u got "filtered" kek
yea it was dogshit
>nothing happens
>Gene took care of what we thought was the final boss 3 episodes early
We're in uncharted territory now
i'm sorry to say, but you got filtered hard. why dont you get a juice box and take a nap, champ? let the grown ups talk.
>Literally nothing happened.
Welcome to BCS!
The lowest rated BCS episode has an 8.0 on IMDB (and it's excellent).
Which one?
How the frick is Alpine Shephard Boy the lowest, that's the episode where Chuck goes to hospital and we learn what's wrong with him/ see it's psychosomatic
It's also the beginning of Jimmy's elder law stuff
Rebecca is also the episode where Chuck tells Kim that Jimmy would steal from their parents' store.
people who spend time rating tv show episodes tend to suffer from various mental illnesses and have low IQ
True. tbf it's not like 8 is low.
>female director
>shit episode
every time
anyone else expecting Saul to pick out a suit jacket and it to be in colour?
A shill for Amazon accidentally spoiled the final twist in a LotR thread.
link?
exblain
Details?
nippy and slippy
they're going to rev up the nothinghappening-core in the coming eps, won't they? i imagine this is going to get a lot more divisive
>After all that, a happy ending
FRICK YOU FRICK YOU!! FRICK YOU!!!!!
SOCIAL DISTANCING: THE SHOW
Everyone made fun of the timeshift bros but look who’s having the last laugh0NKTY8
>plebs don't understand that Jeff's look was always in Gene's head
>he sees him as an intimating mobster type when he was vulnerable Gene
>after he becomes Saul again and regains his confidence he sees him for what he really is, just a mama's boy all bark no bite
why were like 50% of the mall's security cameras dedicated to one clothing store
Don't ask questions just consume BCS episode and then get excited for next BCS episode
because nobody is gonna shoplift at a fricking cinnabon.
Storytelling purposes but also because they had designer shit in there that was really upscale
because it sells expensive stuff and clothing stores are prime for theft
>Episode 11: Sneedy
HOLY FRICK BROS ITS HAPPENING
remember what they took from you
Why did they recast?
covid ruined the ending of this show
this is, in fact, accurate.
original jeff was supposed to be a huge criminal
Yeah, original Jeff would have given us what we wanted. It’s going to be a black mark on the series forever
Never more than 5 minutes away ^_^
>I liked the episode so any contrary opinion is some form of vote-rigging magic trick
>If you look very closely, there are bamboo fibres in some of these replies, implying they aren't legitimate
Nah, everyone knows better by now. You morons have been doing this shit for years now, it's all too predictable for anyone who 't been on this site for more than a week
No one noticed gene using a Mike line kek
They are done.
Not your call.
Slipping Jeffy
I'm gonna break in vince's home, steal his original drafts of s6 and make my own one.
I .. I need Kim
There haven't been threads for years, especially during the first seasons, and now the show is popular again? What's going on?
it's the final season moron
Built for BBC
dumb blacked poster
There was literally no point to the first few minutes in the supermarket.
Introduce a new character.
Listen, I have things to be doing
It was to shit on Wisconsin. Frick you too, Vince.
they gonna recast kim for season 7 and there would be nothing you can do about it
Thia episode was a live action adaptation of Slippin Jimmy from start to finish.
>Jeff slips and conveniently gets up in time
>wacky fat cop and Gene scenes straight
>Marion opening the door to find the 3 boys fixing the car
>cartoonish dialogue between Marion, Gene and Saul in the beggining (the kitchen scenes and the "call me dad" line)
>new Jeff straight from a cartoon
This was unexcusable and has no place in the finale. The whole thing could be summarized in a cold open.
Dragging shit out has been the show since the start.
They really would have done better if they just have us breaking bad again, like what everyone wanted
>Jimmy became Saul Goodman because his oneibreasts broke up with him
Defend this shit
>man radically changes his life after his woman leaves
happens all the time
i just sniffed rhea btw
>Los Pollos Hermanos
>entire episode was Gene filler
I NEED SAUL RIGHT NOW
>No Walt
They lied to us
Yeah what the frick? Wasn't this supposed to be the "Walt & Jesse" episode? Why lie?
>n-next time we swear
>oh sorry it's more filler
Are you really asking why the creators of the worst TV show in the world lied to you to make you watch it? They've been doing it to you since 2016
I recall literally being told that this was the Walt introduction episode. I stayed up until 4-5am UK time to watch this.
So basically kino
Glad I didn't stay up (Ireland) not worth it for filler
What's dragged out more, better call Saul or Dragonball Z?
What would The Architect think of this episode?
He would have added more butter
He would have made up a heist as a long con to keep feeding the black female security guard
>security guard
I hope Gene stays friends with the two security bros. They seem SOLID.
I always thought the non fat one was onto him. Would have made it more interesting wouldn't it Vince
Frick off, the sterner one eventually being so buddy with him that he throws the door open and goes AYYYY was kino
Anon he had to pretend to be mentally ill to complete the plan, they're normalgays who'll never see him as a friend again.
is this episode all we're gonna get of Gene?
is the rest of the season going to just be BB-era Saul?
what storyline is there for them to even tell?
A camoeo with walt and jessie
nippygays get the rope
>no walt
>no jesse
>no kim
>just self-contained episodes of genekino until the end
how would Cinemaphile react?
Very true. Good points
Agreed.
The Marion stuff should have been the focus. Gene infiltrating Jeff's world and live through the mother, manipulating her and playing her to get to Jeff.
Him getting his confidence back isn't what I want to see, I want him to suffer and to always suffer
I couldn't agree more. I mean, his entire plan was hinged on a really tacky, poorly written dialogue about how
>you want in the game, don't you?
He didn't know this individual in the slightest and that could have gone astray very badly. A lot of things that Gene was fearful of and constantly looking over his shoulder in relation to were suddenly thrown out of the window as if they were nothing and that creation of a tense atmosphere, one that has taken many seasons to carefully craft, has been thrown away almost entirely.
>could have gone astray very badly
This is every plot line in BCS, Mike even says it to Gus. Everyone scrapes by with the narrowest of margins, every time and then conveniences happen to get them out of it.
Enjoy the finale of Saul continuing to con and scam people.
>Enjoy the finale of Saul continuing to con and scam people.
Dammit
Frick the “””leaks””” to be honest. I was expecting Jessie and Walter to buy a Cinnabon at the end of the episode.
your fault for having utterly moronic expectations
Reminder that any criticisms revolving around the idea of
>I WAITED 14 years for this!!
is pure sophistry. You didn't wait for shit
>14 years
What the FRICK
>2015 was 14 years ago
frick I'm old

Wait until you see the Mike cameo that is set during BCS.
