The issue is that it is a reference that seems extremely dated, how long ago was that? Its a problem with the entire show, everything feels so dated. The kids aren't laughing, and its even called out by the two geriatric farts (and not even a lean into kinda thing, more in an utterly defeated way.) The forgettable token Black person was doing jokes that seemed like it was for a crowd 10 years older too. Same goes for the troll he dragged off instagram, she was also just awkward and needed to do her set 20 more times to cut the fat and hit the tone of it being weird and sexual. Jimmy Carr did a solid few one liners, and was the only one who could successfully navigate the young crowd and that was only because he pulled his wiener out on stage and told one of the 16yos to suck it.
