I watched an interview with Terry Gilliam, he's a very funny and lively personality. Knowledgeable about movies too. I think he did the drawings for Monty Pyton and was the only American in the bunch. I've seen 'Fear & Loathing'. Which is a classic. 'Thirteen monkeys' was kinda meh. And "the imaginarium..." was just forgettable. 'Brazil' seems kinda artsy fartsy to me, but it is well liked, so I might give it a shot.
I agree, it drags a bit. When you think the movie has finally ended it just keeps going on and you feel like it's going to end at any minute but it drags on for another hour
I've never seen this movie. I wonder if I would like it or if it's just a movie I'm supposed to like.
Quit Cinemaphile, go and watch it for yourself & make up your own fricking mind, then come back.

The artsy fartsy stuff (the guy flying on the poster etc) are dream/daydream sequences that only last maybe 2 mins at most.
Recently watched The Zero Theorem. It was pretty good until it turned into a Brazil rehash.
>quit Cinemaphile
>come back
never listen to a crackhead junkie, especially if they're a Black person like this anon
me judging you in the back
I didn't like it
It's alright but about 3 hours longer than it should've been
Only one way to find out
It's worth seeing. Long, so you'll need more than 2 hours to set aside for it.
I remember before watching this movie I thought it's about the country Brazil lol
what a gay movie, watch a John Wayne movie instead I'd recommend chisum
robert the niro scenes are pure kino

DUDE BUREAUCRACY LMAOO
I thought it was nice, prime schizocore
First half of the movie with the world building is entertaining. Second half is less entertaining and drags a bit, but the ending is great at least.
