Is abortion legal in the UK all the way up to the third trimester?
        I guess it doesn’t matter
Abortion is just big nigs getting rid of little ones
It should be rare, safe and mandatory

From memory there are seven legal provisions for abortion that are all applicable to abortions up to the third trimester. After that only the provisions that relate directly to life threatening scenarios can be applied.

                Anonymous

Point is Clarkson wasn't offered the same protection, because the wanted him gone, and they wanted him gone, because he's perceived as being "toxic". It was an excuse for the BBC to rid themselves of a person they found repugnant, even though he was one of their most beloved entertainers, by quite a margin.

They were perfectly happy to cover for Saville until he was dead.
I think he literally died after the Clarkson controversy as well.

We literally know RTD was abusive to people on set, because that's what Eccleston quit the show over. That will never be covered by the BBC in any serious sense though, because RTD is a darling of theirs. He's the right kind of white male bully. Clarkson wasn't.

I don't care about politics being in Doctor Who, but I miss when it was subtle and not blatant. I want to enjoy the story of the episode and take it literally, and only after finishing it realize that it MIGHT have been an allegory. RTD only seems to know how to hamfist and hammer politics into your head now and forgot how to write a compelling plot.

The worst part is you can do an episode with leftist political messaging and still make the plot interesting and entertaining in its own right. Even though the message is hamfisted the Capaldi/Moffat episode where you have to pay for oxygen actually uses the premise and tells and interesting story with it, even if you disagree with the "sub"text
