When my grandma had dementia it was tough but it gets really annoying after a while, like you can only say "It's me your grandson" so many times. Eventually you have to have a little fun with it.
It's morally okay to mock people with dementia. They wont even remember it after 5 minutes. It's like calling a baby "homosexual". it just goes one ear and out the other
I would never. I’ve known multiple people in my life with it and I’m convinced that until a cure is found (it won’t), that anyone with dementia should be euthanized.
It’s a disease that strips you of what makes you human. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, not even Hillary Clinton.
>Bruce can't talk much and doesn't seem to understand a lot of what other people are saying, so Emma was really his voice and communicator. There are days when you see bits of the old Bruce, but it is short lived. He seems to be slipping away from them more and more and it breaks their hearts.
My dad had the same issue, lots of people talking was hard for him because he couldn't focus right, there would be too many things going on and when he did manage to join a conversation then he wouldn't know exactly what it was about, he would suddenly talk about an unrelated subject, derailing everything, but you could see he didn't mean to do it because in his head it made sense. This man is going to be unrecognizable within a year, the disease makes you grow old so fast that you can see it in someone's face. That vulnerable expression of not being able to recognize the things happening around you. Like changing into a ghost. He's lucky to have family looking out for him, it's more rough on them than him to be honest, but they have each other. I can imagine that some of them might say that Bruce is no longer their dad or friend or man they knew, at some point it is as if you're caring for a stranger, every bit of them gets lost in the disease.

>refuses to get a hearing aid
I wonder what the problem is? The hearing aides are so small nowadays, that you can barely spot them. So what is the matter? People use glasses all the time, with zero issues.
I think he just thrives on self imposed hardship. He did try a hearing aid for a few weeks and said he couldn't adjust to it but I don't believe he gave it much of a chance
my cousin's husband has dementia so bad that he can't even form sentences anymore, when he comes by he just says random words and looks at you, it's pretty hard to bear and obviously impossible to have a conversation.
Sometimes two good things together don't yield a good result.
Demi Moore? Hot. Bruce? Handsome. Kids? Butt ugly.
Coke? Good. Milk? Good. Coke and milk? Not good.
Why did Bruce Willis's kids turn out so ugly? He's not a bad looking guy.
Demi Moore is pretty but she has a strong manish face with a strong jaw. Bruce is a masculine strong jawed male. Put those two together and it produced super jawed women.

My grandmother has dementia. Nothing scary about it, chuck a glass of martini in her, pull out the boardgames and she's happy as a plum. I've never seen her smile more than after she got dementia, at times she got this childlike energy about her. Curious and upbeat, sure there are times she's confused and looks lost. But as far as degenerative diseases go, there are worse fates than dementia.
Ela disease or any kind of disease that ends up with your mind trapped inside a permanently paralized body. I find it worse than dementia because in this case you are fully aware of what is happening to you the whole time. It's one the few things I would ask God What the fuck was he thinking.

I would say late onset late onset muscular dystrophy is one of the worse ways to go. It doesn't effect your mind and you'll have half a century of strong mobility before you're unable to move. You'll remember every bike ride to school or walk to the corner store as your body twists into a useless mess of dead limbs.
Unfortunately not true. You get paranoid and scared. You throw tantrums. You forget how to stand, and fall over. You're aware that your dignity is gone as someone else is dressing you. You become incontinent. It might be harder on the family but it's no picnic for the patient either.
The scared part is the worst, I'm pretty sure my grandmother couldn't tell her dreams from reality and kept the shade shut so the horrors couldn't see in
Used to work with a bloke who had dementia. Started noticing little things over time, lapses in memory and what not. The penny dropped when he started responding to things we'd said as if we'd said something else entirely. Eventually at our insistence he went for a cognitive assessment a failed miserable. Retired about a week after that and died in a care home about a year later. It's weird watching someone deterioate so rapidly.
My grandmother got alzheimers and i gave her a ride to thanksgiving dinner once and on the 10 minute car ride she said "so you got stuck giving me a ride." 4 times, thinking the ride just started.
Im now noticing small things with my mother, her forgetting things or telling me the same story multiple times in the same week. I just know im going to end up with a rotten brain but without a family to take care of me.... just black nurses that will abuse me when im old.
Thank you for reading my blogpost
>Retired about a week after that and died in a care home about a year later
The rapid decline was probably accelerated by him not working. Him having to keep his mind on things probably slowed the process down.
Keep your minds active, anons.
There's no way he could have kept working, he was a liability, but his son didn't help by just dumping him in the care home and leaving him there. Might have fared better if his wife was still alive but she was a giant alcy and died a year before he was diagnosed.
Why do people with dementia die so soon?
Does the disease affect other parts of the body?
Is it just a coincidence and they were going to die that soon anyway?
So it affects all parts of the brain?
I always thought it was just memory...
Does dementia and such disprove the existence of the soul/consciousness being something separate from the physical body?
It rots holes in everything, though there are different kinds of dementia, you can get vascular dementia where blood sugar problems damage blood flow, its not all thew same prion based stuff
No dementia is just the result of your soul being raped by a demon so much that it can no longer control the body. They do it so they can temporarily inhabit your body(when dementia patients rage and say hurtful things).
We have exact models of fruit fly brains mapped and simulated. We can't get them to work correctly despite know the basic level of how action potentials on axons interacts with each other to produce thoughts. Not go full god of the gaps, but there is still plenty of room for a soul as it seems we have to model chemical behavior down to the quantum level to get things to work.
It's usually the memory that goes first, but then other functions start to go. The reason it kills so quickly is because, like what happened to the guy I worked with, they get left to rot in a care home. They live a lot longer if they're kept active.

It doesn't help if they have diabetes or other illnesses, lots of times they get an infection and can't tell anyone it hurts or can't control there blood sugar anymore

Some don't, I know someone who's mother developed dementia in their 70's and lived until their 80's, absolute nightmare.

there's lifestyle choices that can reduce the chances of developing dementia, exercise, diet and apparently Sauna use can massively reduce your chances >https://www.alzdiscovery.org/cognitive-vitality/blog/can-using-the-sauna-reduce-risk-for-alzheimers-disease
why the fuck don't bitches like this get that jaw surgery? most chicks who do don't have jaw to spare but this one could make three or four out of the excess jaw bone you shaved off
I think it's just a freak example of a woman inherited her dad's exact jawline, and that is pretty much what a man's jaw looks like on a female's skull.
Good.
Did you know he purposefully tried to fuck over game of thrones by parking his yacht along the shore during the mountain vs oberyn right and screaming at the production
Probably just a genetic preponderance to forming misfolded proteins in the brain that eventually reaches critical mass and starts eating holes in the tissue as the broken proteins misfold other proteins in a chain reaction
these things are fucking demonic, suicide should be a private affair between a man, a noose, and the poor family members who discover him and are scarred for life because of it
>these things are fucking demonic, suicide should be a private affair between a man, a noose, and the poor family members who discover him and are scarred for life because of it
Correct. Suicide needs to be COOL and dramatic.
>find out you have cancer >try to treat it as best you can >but now it's the end. >Go up to a cliff >just dive head first
these things are fucking demonic, suicide should be a private affair between a man, a noose, and the poor family members who discover him and are scarred for life because of it
Why was it ever viewed as bad? If someone wants to call it quits why shouldn't they be able to? Not like people didn't kill themselves before these things and like the other guy said seems better than walking into a family member's hung corpse or shotgun obliterated paste head.
Probably an overreaction to rejecting Roman morality when Christianity took over. Society became a feminine one where you no longer had a duty to fall on your sword
he busted his ass off working on garbage movies left and right until the disease got the best of him just so these whores can live the rest of their life splurging away on shoes, plastic surgery and mansions

This is why you shouldn't stick around with a sugar daddy for so long. Now she's stuck as she would look like an heartless bitch if she were to drop him. Hopefully he'll be gone soon so she can move on with her life
She was probably the one roping him around doing all those two scene films where he stands around and says one word or has his back turned and he ADR's some lines later. He's like... an object in those films and everyone just describes him as thsi master manipulator or villain with this big plan. Then he shows up, says 3 words, then dies. The end. Then they put his face on the cover of the film.

And back in those days -- to show how things have changed -- one of the things you had to use, if you used Pomade in your hair, you had to wear a baby cap. And so he was up on the board and wouldn't listen to me. I said, 'Hey, Esther, you! Off the board, or I'll come up and drag you off.' Well, he came off, and he said, 'I'll meet you outside.
he supported President George H. W. Bush for reelection and was an outspoken critic of Bill Clinton. Willis was an invited speaker at the 2000 Republican National Convention, and supported George W. Bush that year.
Willis also stated that he is a supporter of gun rights, stating, "Everyone has a right to bear arms. If you take guns away from legal gun owners, then the only people who have guns are the bad guys."
In February 2006, Willis was in Manhattan to promote his film 16 Blocks with reporters. One reporter attempted to ask Willis about his opinion on the Bush administration, but was interrupted by Willis in mid-sentence when he said: "I'm sick of answering this fucking question. I'm a Republican only as far as I want a smaller government, I want less government intrusion. I want them to stop shitting on my money and your money and tax dollars that we give 50 percent of every year. I want them to be fiscally responsible and I want these goddamn lobbyists out of Washington. Do that and I'll say I'm a Republican. I hate the government, OK? I'm apolitical. Write that down. I'm not a Republican."
Willis's name was in an advertisement in the Los Angeles Times on August 17, 2006, that condemned Hamas and Hezbollah and supported Israel in the 2006 Israel-Lebanon war.
Dementia isn't real. It's just old fucks resigning themselves to sedentarism and paying the price. Ever notice how no one with an active lifestyle ends up this way? Live on the couch, die on the couch.
My dad was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob four months ago, but so far he hasn't gotten any worse than when he left the hospital, I'm starting to think they misdiagnosed him somehow.
He's still bedridden and needs diapers and can't walk, but his symptoms started over one year ago and this disease is said to kill pretty fast. I don't get it.
I'm into smart drugs and whenever I find something it "showed promise" tackling dementia. I'm convinced the powers that be don't want a cure for old people deseases because they're no longer useful wagies
I thought dementia was the type of disease to only hit(outside of genetics) people who don’t really do any intellectual practice
Surely being an actor makes your brain work. You have to remember lines, act…
''Dementia'' is sort of an umbrella term for some types of brain diseases. Some of them are sporadic and happen for no rhyme or reason, at least as far as modern medicine understands.
that feel when you remarried and only had daughters and once your mind's fully gone they'll be controlling you against your will making you do the dumbest most embarrassing shit until you die
It's not a couple, it's a common and well documented thing in about 10% of dementia deaths. Terminal/Paradoxical Lucidity. It's too well studied to be a fluke but makes zero sense in the context of physiological degredation.
Although there was that guy who lived a completely normal life with zero symptoms until he got a headache in his 50s and found out he'd had a giant growth taking up half his brain cavity since birth and had been getting by with about 40% of a brain. Thoughts are strange things.
I have an uncle with ALS. He's become completely helpless, can't even shake your hand properly, but his mind is still fully intact. I wonder which fate is worse.
Not a terrible strategy. Dennis Hopper did something similar when he found out he was dying of cancer. He divorced his wife so he could set the terms instead of letting her get all of his big money art collection when he died.
Remember when all the anti maskers thought he was based and on their side for appearing confused and belligerent when asked to wear his mask at a convenience store?
You guys are such retards that a literally brain retard is your hero kek

I'm not. I enjoyed his movies and he seemed like a good guy outside of those films.

almost daily, homosexual
I’d never do that to a baby but I always call my dogs shit like nagger and homosexual. Even kike or shylock when they’re begging for food.

It's usually the memory that goes first, but then other functions start to go. The reason it kills so quickly is because, like what happened to the guy I worked with, they get left to rot in a care home. They live a lot longer if they're kept active.
It doesn't help if they have diabetes or other illnesses, lots of times they get an infection and can't tell anyone it hurts or can't control there blood sugar anymore
does the brain control the body, or are you in control of the brain?
It is moments like this that make you realise that Karl is actually more philosophical than Ricky.
Some don't, I know someone who's mother developed dementia in their 70's and lived until their 80's, absolute nightmare.
there's lifestyle choices that can reduce the chances of developing dementia, exercise, diet and apparently Sauna use can massively reduce your chances

Is there anything scarier than dementia?

Momento remake.
do you think he watches himself in the movies and dont realize it's him anymore?
>Watches Pulp Fiction with family
>"Look Bruce, it's you"
>"Fucking hell I'm black?!"
And he divorced her for being a nagger lover
hello beautiful
>veins
NNNNNNNGGGGHHHHHhh aaaaahhh
why the fuck don't bitches like this get that jaw surgery? most chicks who do don't have jaw to spare but this one could make three or four out of the excess jaw bone you shaved off
probably because she's not attracted to basedmen
anon that's a post-jaw surgery photo
oh fuck jesus how sad
is willis descended from the hapsburgs or some shit?
he's german
I think it's just a freak example of a woman inherited her dad's exact jawline, and that is pretty much what a man's jaw looks like on a female's skull.
Fucking ruined, looked better before, very smug.
She looks like Rey Palatine chewing an apple
That's the funny part; she did.
she looks like the lovechild of millie bobby brown and potion seller
Potion seller?
MY POTIONS ARE TOO STRONG FOR YOU, TRAVELER
All his daughters had/have boyfriends and/or husbands and Bruce has a grandkid so one of them was knocked up.
It's like if Natalie Portman ate the wall instead of hitting it
Poor Demi having to push that noggin out of her pussy.
Nice milkers though.
I want to feed her some oats really badly.
>Andel Indarys is an intemperate, bibulous philanderer. And a Dark Elf. Other than that, he is perfectly suited to be a count.
>Heard any news from the other provinces?
Yippee ki

Damn you for making me laugh
Haven't we had this thread before?
No, I would have remembered.
Good.
Did you know he purposefully tried to fuck over game of thrones by parking his yacht along the shore during the mountain vs oberyn right and screaming at the production
It terrible that the scientist faked all the data to embezzle research money, it not plaques at all its prions
neurosurgeons have an increased risk of it becuase they fucking catch it
so how do normal people get it?
Probably just a genetic preponderance to forming misfolded proteins in the brain that eventually reaches critical mass and starts eating holes in the tissue as the broken proteins misfold other proteins in a chain reaction
I read somewhere that picking your nose increases your chances of dementia
Picking your nose and eating your mucus greatly boosts your immune system so of course they don't want you doing it
anon who is they?
So why is dementia a disease that only affects old people? If it was contagious you would see kids with it.
>its called CJWD or spontaneous prion disease
again?
Why is euthanasia opposed again?
this doesn't seem so bad now
these things are fucking demonic, suicide should be a private affair between a man, a noose, and the poor family members who discover him and are scarred for life because of it
this is why you leave the front door ajar, and order a pizza.
Or just call the cops and tell them to mentally prepare to see a dead body...
Or book a hotel room. It's part and parcel in their business
I'd just hike deep into the woods and crawl into a cave, there's places remote enough here that no one'll ever find it.
>these things are fucking demonic, suicide should be a private affair between a man, a noose, and the poor family members who discover him and are scarred for life because of it
Correct. Suicide needs to be COOL and dramatic.
>find out you have cancer
>try to treat it as best you can
>but now it's the end.
>Go up to a cliff
>just dive head first
FUCKIN KINO AS SHIT. None of this wimpy pod shit.
>look it up
>it's real
Not only are they real, Canada is using them to purge their "undesirables."
i thought it was euthanized shots, not suicide pods
is she going to space?
Yes the great nothing is her destination
Why was it ever viewed as bad? If someone wants to call it quits why shouldn't they be able to? Not like people didn't kill themselves before these things and like the other guy said seems better than walking into a family member's hung corpse or shotgun obliterated paste head.
Probably an overreaction to rejecting Roman morality when Christianity took over. Society became a feminine one where you no longer had a duty to fall on your sword
is there anything scarier than dementia?
death?

is there anything scarier than dementia?
why does he look like the queen of England?
Looks like the Queen.
Does anyone else think he looks like the Queen of England
his legacy
nah, Die Hard is his legacy
he busted his ass off working on garbage movies left and right until the disease got the best of him just so these whores can live the rest of their life splurging away on shoes, plastic surgery and mansions
I can see his daughter's nipples!
Bruce Willis is diagnosed with dementia.

Why are they humiliating him?
>who are these cucks and why are they dressed like me?
Scout almost looks normal there. She'd probably be attractive if her face wasn't three miles long.
I can kill everyone here and stand unfit for trial
There is no spoon.
>I have this spoon....but I don't see any giant bowl of cereal to eat with it...who are these people? Should I beat them to death with this spoon?....Whoa, This is a big spoon.
There's always that one mopey homosexual who doesn't smile in a family photo.
>JUST POSE WITH THE DAMN DOG AND GIANT UTENSILS IN YOUR RIDICULOUS ADULT PJS AND SMILE LIKE YOU LIKE IT CUZ WERE NORMAL AND HAPPY homosexual
There’s a controlling narcissist in every family it seems.
>they keep telling me everything is fine but I swear spoons were never this big
Is she related to Bruce
>Does he know?
She was 31 when she married a 54 year old man
This is why you shouldn't stick around with a sugar daddy for so long. Now she's stuck as she would look like an heartless bitch if she were to drop him. Hopefully he'll be gone soon so she can move on with her life
I don't think she minds too much, she's probably going to get so much money if she doesn't already have it.
she can just pay people to look after him
She was probably the one roping him around doing all those two scene films where he stands around and says one word or has his back turned and he ADR's some lines later. He's like... an object in those films and everyone just describes him as thsi master manipulator or villain with this big plan. Then he shows up, says 3 words, then dies. The end. Then they put his face on the cover of the film.
>Bruce Willis goes to see his doctor who tells him "I'm sorry but I've got bad news and worse news"
>Bruce says "give me the worse news first"
>The doctor says "I'm afraid you have cancer"
>Bruce, devastated, says "that's awful doc now give me the bad news"
>The doctor says "You've also got dementia"
>Bruce says "Dementia? At least I don't have cancer"
I’m going to hell now. Thanks asshole.
Bruce Willis is diagnosed with dementia.

Not following your argument.

Huh?
what did he say?
That he's going to a Planet Hollywood opening
>And Corn Pop was a bad dude. And he ran a bunch of bad boys.
>Hi i'm Bob Smith
>good...that..that whole thing is your name huh?
>do you have uhhh 'shorter name'?
>yeahahahhahaweeeahh wooo...*scweeet*

Bruce Willis is diagnosed with dementia.
Literally who?
t.Bruce Willis
he supported President George H.
Why are you copy-pasting his political views from his wikipedia article?
>I hate the government, OK? I'm apolitical. Write that down
Dare I say it?

Dementia isn't real. It's just old fucks resigning themselves to sedentarism and paying the price. Ever notice how no one with an active lifestyle ends up this way? Live on the couch, die on the couch.
First I'm hearing of it
He's just s fucking kid
Does this mean he's going to be the next president?
yippie ki pudding
My dad was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob four months ago, but so far he hasn't gotten any worse than when he left the hospital, I'm starting to think they misdiagnosed him somehow.
He's still bedridden and needs diapers and can't walk, but his symptoms started over one year ago and this disease is said to kill pretty fast. I don't get it.
who's changing his diapers?
I'm helping my mom take care of him, she's an old lady as well (63) and can't possibly take care of an absolute unit of a man like my dad by herself.
Disease progression is always variable.
Anyway if you consume his brain after he dies you might make a cool new disease like Kuru or Mad Cow
I don't think learning new things makes you immune to it so much as it makes you resistant to it as well as allowing you to compensate to an extent
Lack of "intellectual practice" just makes it worse. Nothing to do with whether you get it or not.
He must have done a lot of bad blow
is there anything scarier than dementia?
brain rot is the worst shit when it comes to aging, dementia and alzheimers is some scary shit
i feel sorry for him, i'll watch some die hard and 5th element kino next weekend in his honor
is that the queen?
you know full well that RLM would not have made patreon paypiggy bank off their videos making fun of him if he weren't white.
"Welcome to the...erm...whatever it was, pal!"
>the couple of cases where people get almost all of their brain functionality back just hours/days before dying
I find that pretty fucked up.
>Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with dementia.
yeah, a lot of time ago, you fucking Slowpoke piece of shit
will he Disney himself?
I have an uncle with ALS. He's become completely helpless, can't even shake your hand properly, but his mind is still fully intact. I wonder which fate is worse.
Is there anything scarier than dementia?
Is there anything scarier than dementia?
Who was he again?
Plot twist: He's actually not that bad, just a little old and slow but Demi and his family are setting up position to take control of his money early
Not a terrible strategy. Dennis Hopper did something similar when he found out he was dying of cancer. He divorced his wife so he could set the terms instead of letting her get all of his big money art collection when he died.
Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with dementia.
Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with dementia.
Remember when all the anti maskers thought he was based and on their side for appearing confused and belligerent when asked to wear his mask at a convenience store?
You guys are such retards that a literally brain retard is your hero kek
Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with dementia.
Why does he look like the last queen of england in this picture? Is that just the official face of dementia now?
Sarah Gadon has been diagnosed with perfection.
