He was talking about becoming more of a father to the bastards in one scene with rhaenyra supporting him and saying she wanted to have his kids and the next scene we she with her she is going to have him killed in your eyes? Logically that doesn't follow at all. She doesn't even hate him enough to just spur of the moment have him killed. In the context of the show getting his homosexual ass out of dodge makes sense. Now comparing it to the book it doesn't but logically it follows in the show. If they wanted to kill him they should of had some type of huge argument or something to make them hate each other.

But it's also not out of character that she helped him and spared him, given the other warmth in the scene.

He is not meant to be the most trustworthy of narrators. So the book is never meant to be read as exactly what happened but rather what people think happened. Whereas the show is meant to be what actually happened.
I don’t know what this means for Seasmoke. We’re all going to find out eventually. Seems silly to be prematurely upset about it.

This is moronic because he gets things "wrong" that should not have been possible to frick up. Cole killing Joffrey at the wedding instead of in front of thousands of people at a tourney isn't something you "mistake". Laenor getting stabbed in the middle of the day at a busy street fair is not nearly the same as him getting killed mysteriously with no actual witnesses.
