I can't speak for the others, but i can't fucking stand Leto. I don't understand why some people may like him, but to me he looks like a douche void of any charisma.
His best role was Thin Red Line where he chews gum and then gets him and two other guys shot.
I never intended to watch this movie because I wasn't interested in the character at all but everyone saying how bad it is makes me want to see it now just to see what's so bad about it. Was that the plan all along?

The premise is ~fine~, the pacing is fucked, the writing is one step away from mediocre into cringe territory. Jared Leto and Cumsnatch did give good performances tho, the script was shit tho. The morb vision special effects were good.
There's really not enough of Morb using his powers to do anything really. The final fight especially was cringe

They got a hit with Venom, so Sony in their infinite wisdom, thought people would actually care about some Z-lister Spider-Man villain no one knows or cares a great deal about. The thing is, most Spider-Man villains are only interesting when paired up with fucking Spider-Man.
But I'm sure the Kraven the Hunter movie will do fine. Hopefully we'll get a Shocker movie next.
Spider man's villains are no Batman tier, absolutely none of them can carry a movie on their own (Tom Hardy Venom is not the character from the comics), and even among Batmans gallery only the Joker can really pull it off. Nobody is clamoring for the two hour Poison Ivy origin story
Shocker is a bank robber who jobs every chance he gets, he's a lead in to a real villain even in a 30 minute cartoon episode. Morbius isn't much better.

It's a solid antisuperhero movie that feels very 2000s and unlike most MCU or DC movies, while doing all the standard superhero movie tropes.
People didn't know what to make of the somber tone but I found it refreshing. 6/10 movie, probably easier to sit through than The Batman or Dr Strange 2 or NWH.
The hysterical Disney FUD campaign probably drew more attention to it that it otherwise would have gotten.

It is a shit movie. All Marvel movies that take place outside of the main universe are shit.
Morbius has a lot of flaws but it isn't as bad as people say it is. It's really just painfully mediocre but it does have some legitimately good parts but not enough to make it feel like lost potential. First off despite the bad dialogue of the script I did have some genuine investment in Morbius's and Milo's relationship up until their first flying fart fight at the subway.
The cinematography in a few scenes was very good, for instance some of the shots during the final fight in the giant sewer.
Like many others have said it was a breath of fresh air compared to modern MCU shit since it didn't feel like today's capeshit.
The best part though was obviously Mister Math Shit playing Milo, it was just the most fun part of the movie because after Milo becomes a spooky vamp boy he just stops giving a shit and is just having fun murdering people, you can tell the actor had fun knowing he wasn't a very good movie clearly not trying too hard.
Watching this movie was a real chore-bius

Saw it in theatres after watching it on twitch and it made me realize how much better even a movie like Morbius is on the big screen.
