He makes a lot of great points. They're a slightly more reserved version of redpill comics. You can never discuss them here because white guys hate people discussing inequalities unless its in regards to white people being mistreated
His focus on masculinity and shit definitely undercuts a lot of what he does and he deserves the "MRAsian" moniker. He seems to be on a kick of believing hate crimes against Asian men are under-reported even though they aren't? Asian women, specifically older Asian immigrant women are the general targets because of weakness, and Josh doesn't care. He just wants more pity for Asian men because "boo hoo we're demasculinized" but considers demasculinization literally fricking anything that isn't an Asian kicking the ass of everything and never suffering and also getting a hot Asian gf. It's absurd.
No its reasonable, older Asians are targeted because of Asians seen as passive and letting the law handle the matter, which often results in nothing. The criminals who do such assaults would be more hesitant to attack black or hispanic elderly because there's a perception that those communities would rally up to defend their own. He understands the need for a balance in both economic and educational advancement and focus in the community as well as having a strong cultural and traditional core.
Pretty sure Asian communities defend their elderly just like any other.

The "boba life" shirt is a reference to "boba Twitter" which is basically an insult Asians use for other Asians that don't care about Asian issues enough. It has replaced "banana" it seems. Also it tends to be male Asian activists accusing Asian women of it. So deep down it's just another expression of Josh's sexism

There are people who genuinely didn't get the joke here. But again, how can Josh claim to be doing important activist stuff with comics if he can barely make one of these comics every two months?

I think he's mechanically talented and I don't outright disagree with his points, but he's got a severe problem with his writing and structuring.
Take the OP image, for example; the theme of the comic is that Asians need to incorporate protective measures into the concept of self-care. The first 2 food items in the list successfully set up the twist provided by the third item being pepper spray. That's good. That's fine. If he didn't feel a compulsion to make everything he produces into a full page, I would have no complaints, but he keeps going. Another food, causing whiplash in the tone of the comic, and then right back to hate-crime items for the remaining 5. Two thirds of the items on the page are about the serious topic, which is way too heavy-handed when the intent was for it to be a subversion of generic internet self-care guides. Hell, he loses the plot completely in the t-shirt section, and that would've been avoided simply by shortening the comic or paying more mind to the balance of tone.
This really should be like four or five separate comics, when you combine these vignettes you take power from them

No he doesn't. He blames all the problems on colonialism without even understanding why it happened in the first place, why the world's history is the way it is. Human history is an unpleasant ride towards realizing that exploitation knows no color, creed, or loyalty. Everyone in a position of strength does it, you can't even really justify the "racism" going on in russia and yet they're doing it all the same. He can whine that Asians are more oppressed all he wants, he's going to be competing with the rest of the oppressed who generally have it worse than Asians ever did.
To be fair I cannot think of a single group that got colonized more than Filipinos.
