If they released that shitty comic about Carol and Rhodey last month, then they’re clearly not breaking them up any time sooner. That being said, I have absolutely no hope in this run. Carol’s 50 issue run was an absolute snooze fest because there is no overarching story to be told, there are no major events, no genuine character growth. Plots are alway Carol and her boring, useless C-Lister friends who we’re supposed to like because Carol likes them. Who Carol is at the end is the same Carol as the end.
Compare her comic to DC’s equivalent Green Lantern, and she has literally nothing to show for these past four years.
