I worked in a grocery store for years and there were plenty of people that liked to go on cart duty because it gave them extra smoke breaks and an excuse to meander outside. I actually park near it since it's on the end and I can crowd it and leave extra room between my vehicle and the next one. I don't like door dings. I also park near the far set of them in the back of the parking lot again because I don't want anyone parking next to me and dinging up my truck

yeah don't really care if it hits my bumper. it's an older truck with a steel bumper. I've had two parking lot accidents where someone hit my truck bumper and the bumper fricked their car up. I don't honestly care all that much if this truck gets dinged up it's just habit because I usually drive coupes with doors that swing opened really wide and I hate being crowded in my spot.
I go to the corrall and take all the carts and scatter them around the lot. So far ive seen several cars get scratched and dented and caused lots of general mayhem. The wind blew one cart out into the street and a lady hit it at high speed causing her to slam on the brakes and swerving and then flipped the car killing her baby in the backseat.
I will never put a cart back.

When I lived in the city i was a few blocks from a grocery store, one morning i woke up to a cart in my front yard. Only a Black person would not bring the cart back, and only a gigahomie would take a cart three blocks from the store to leave in someones yard.
