Cartoon hot takes thread

I kind of like modern Family Guy. It's not amazing or anything, but I'll watch it sometimes as background noise.

The staff are well aware that the show has gone downhill, but they just go with it and make it a shitpost.

Modern Family Guy is still good. Better than Simpsons i'll add

Modern FG is better than Zombie Simpsons, yes, but that's not saying much considering how effortless The Simpsons have gotten now.

My hot take is that modern Simpsons, (as in the past 3 seasons) are actually realy good, and much better than both modern FG and modern Bob's Burgers

i would agree with you if there weren't offensively bad/painfully boring episodes these past few seasons like that musical one

That's going to happen but the trend is still really positive imo

I'm one of those "I stopped watching at season 8" kind of people. Does it really get better nowadays?

              >"I stopped watching at season 8"
Stop lying, everyone watched the Sneed episode and the Treehouse of Horrors.

Everyone has a different opinion but I think the HD era has some good stuff, and once Matt Selman takes over in season 32 there's a noticable trend upwards.

Modern family guy isn't good. Disney will purge the old seasons so we'll forget that was actually funny

    That is not a praise

That's more praise than what most people insist. People treat it like an active disruption of their entertainment, like Teen Titans Go or modern Simpsons. I'm more so apathetic to modern Family Guy instead of angry.

If by "Modern Family Guy" you mean the most recent seasons since 2017, I agree. Anything before that is a hard no

this is your average contrarian take, "bruh just turn off your brain lmao" not a hot take at all

Disney knew that the gargoyles were all extremely frickable and probably tried to amp up their sexual appeal low key.

Kevin Spencer is an underrated masterpiece no one will ever be able to appreciate because the only people left watching cartoons for adults are the ones that simply treat them as background noise, not being able to think for themselves
    Just like this thread proves

12 oz. mouse is a beautiful shitpost of a show and a fun watch, and MrEnter is a homosexual for getting children to deliberately shit on it just because they don't get the creative intent.
The fact that they actually put this shit on TV is ballsy and worthy of admiration.
