Forgettable diverse cartoon pandering to a specific culture, nothing new

I assume people interested on watching something titled Gremlins should be interested on seeing Gremlins destroying things and rampaging like buttholes, not getting cultural lessons on Asia.

Eh, I could see a Gremlins cartoon with an Asian cast working if they can use the setting to their advantage, but that's not gonna happen.

To be fair I feel like most parts of Warner Bros is getting woke at this point, from DC to CN.

Yes, why should the prequel series focusing on a Chinese character and a Chinese creature have anything to do with China?

It's sad that Disney has a more interesting lineup for SDCC than the so called best place for cartoons.

That's because they get you when you're really young. How can CN/WB compete?

That place hasn't been the best place for cartoons since 2013.

I hate that a boring mediocre character like Craig is the face of CN because he's Black.

I genuinely cannot fathom that shows like CotC or WBB have actual real fanbases that feel excitement when watching new episodes.

      >canceled
Not exactly cancelled, but there's about 20 episodes yet to be aired, if I'm correct. They were still doing layouts by December 2021, so I think they're still wrapping up. The movie is stil in production.

so theres nothing we can do to keep the series going at this point?

          Anonymous

Maybe not, all the 90 episodes of this show are part of the same initial order and it'll be mostly just that (it's kinda like those cartoons that have one 65-episode season). Plus, a lot of the animators left WB too.

Does anyone know WHY they've made the channel so toddler-oriented in recent years? Like is it really bringing them the success they want?

Toddler shows are cheap and east to make a profit, I don't know if it's working for them though

I don’t think they even air the new Looney Tunes Cartoons cartoons on CN, other than on April Fools this year.
