It was clearly an excuse for Gilbert Gottfried and Christopher Lloyd to hang out. Apart from them the show cost pocket change to churn out so why not? Same reason there will always be more Nature cat as long as the old SNL cast want to meet up and go drinking afterwards.
This show won't die until Christopher Lloyd does. It's literally the only thing left to do in his life that isn't just sitting around collecting Back To The Future residual checks.
Just have them cure Motherboard already. The show's moved away from math entirely, and Hacker's barely a threat anymore, just a minor hinderance. There's no point in keeping her like that anymore.
It's a catchy theme. At least the "TWIPSY TWIPSY, AAAAA-AAAAAH" keeps popping up from my subconcious every now and then.

Yeah, only learnt of the expo later on when doing research on what the hell was that weird cartoon I saw as a kiddo. It's an interesting origin story though, cartoon out of an expo mascot.
