What's the appeal of playing the game with out of character characters? They are clearly meant to be part of the good guys, just like Shepard ditched Ashley, fricked Miranda and married Liara.
Handmaiden is good but mostly because of her sexo voice, visas is nice but literally only because of her fat DSLs lmao, she's a blatantly unfinished character.
Both are still better than bastilla.
