They're basically cartoons (but with live actors so that people would still take them somewhat seriously) at this point.
Disney should have made the MCU in hand-drawn 2D animation with the Disney Renaissance/Don Bluth style mixed with a comic book style.
It would be a great way for Disney to keep 2D animation alive, to push it to new horizons, and to bring the ultimate conclusion to the partnership between Disney and Marvel.
The CGI overload makes the films look too realistic to be cartoons and too cartoony to be live action films.
If they really want live actors in their animated films, they could be partially rotoscoped similar to what Don Bluth did in Anastasia and Titan A.E..
