How could you possibly eat before brushing your teeth? That's disgusting.

That's how you're supposed to do it. Eating right after a long night of sleep just feeds the bacteria that's accumulated in your mouth.

So how do anons handle this? And do you all follow dentist suggestion for brushing your teeth after a meal? That would mean brushing your teeth twice in the morning.

Handle what? I wake up. I brush my teeth. I live my day. I'll brush again before I go to sleep. I've never had any dentist tell me to brush after eating.

It depends on how long between brushing and eating. If you brush first and don’t eat for a half hour that gives plenty of time for your teeth to absorb the fluoride. If you eat and don’t brush for an hour that gives your saliva enough time to break everything down still in your mouth.

If you eat then immediately brush, you are grinding whatever you ate on your teeth which can easily wear away the enamel.

You’re not supposed to to rinse after brushing. Just spit. You’re supposed to let your teeth absorb the fluoride.

My parents taught me how to brush my teeth. They are both pushing 70 and still have healthy teeth.

That’s genetic anon. They’re lucky. My father in law is in his seventies, smokes like a chimney and is always drunk. Doesn’t mean those two activities are healthy.

              You’re still brushing incorrectly.

You're not supposed to leave large amounts of flouride in your mouth. The trace amounts are still there after rinsing.
