See, I like Dexter, I still like it even as an adult. I like the animation, I like the voice acting, the premise is rich, but the show can get very repetitive outside of certain episodes, which makes it feel weaker compared to the rest of the shows on the block. But maybe I shouldn't be so critical of a show from 1996.
I always thought it was a bit boring. Not enough to never watch it but it didn't really engage me that much, and a lot of its unique ideas ended up going over my head. I think a lot of the issue was just how long dexter's dialogue could drag on or something, but the "dee dee messes everything up" formula being so repetitive might've also been the issue. I agree with its good points like you said.
Not him but cable is a different experience, sometimes you just wanna flick to something and have it on rather than seek it out. I usually have checkered past on while I multi task, but if I stream something its because it has my undivided attention.
Salicylic acid is an acid and hydroxyl is a conjugate base, together they neutralize to form a salt (his salty wife) and water. That's probably not right, but I'm pretending it is.
If it's the one about the hydroxyl ion, the two scientists are waiting for it to offer up its oxygen to the acid. The joke is that like his wife, the ion refuses to put out.
most likely a grant or something. genuises get grants from institutions but you must show results. So maybe because of dee dee breaking stuff dexter never met his yearly requirements and just got far behind
If Dexter was honest with his parents about the lab, he could convince them to give him a place to build where Dee Dee isn't allowed, and then they could all be rich.
>I would've loaned you the money if you had just asked
I can see why Dexter would've assumed she wouldn't without ruining his life (IE making the episode less about finding ways to earn money and more about doing chores or embarrassing things to get DD's)
It's interesting to me that Dexter's theme song is more of the credits song than the opening. It just seems like network execs would want an upfront theme song as the marketable and profitable lead tune and not the closer, Powerpuff Girls was also like that.
Yep, the very first fucking frame of the opening digitized and it's already Complete Signal Loss. Why am I not allowed to enjoy anything? What convoluted universe plan involved making a network finally show good cartoons again and making the weather get bad right when one of the best ones is on in my area?
I have some weird nostalgia over the technical difficulties screen CN used to air when there was a service outage during storms. It was creepy since it was just a static screen, but I liked it. I remember we made a creepypasta with /x/ over a decade ago about this screen where someone photoshopped plank into the fence
Weird, I don't remember ever seeing storm outage screens for networks. The closest I can think of is old blue screens "Turn to this channel for a weather alert" screens from whatever provider I had at the time that was doing that. Interesting to see CN had stuff like that.
Any idea if there's a video of this online? Google reverse search doesn't have a single result for this image yet I've seen it posted here on occasion.
I have it on my old PC, but I can't access it now. If there's an archive that goes as far back as like 2014, that's probably around when the thread existed (it started on Cinemaphile, then moved to /x/)
I still hate how every time the scene goes from left to right or vice versa in EEE, the sides of the screen warps like it's bowing outward like you're watching the episode through a fishbowl.
Looking at the comments of the original drawing, it just seemed that the storyboard artist didn't like how the episodes were getting even more cruel and slapstick-y
Reminder that this same storyboard artist also added all those crying scenes on all the episodes she worked on, just like she did with Steven Universe.

I can't tell who's more based, Raven for openly criticizing the show she works on or Danny for being cool with it.
Back when Ed had some normal sentences and reactions to things. Like him telling the guys to not mess around and leave at the start, or "My mom's gonna kill me, we gotta do something." Man, it'd have been interesting to see the show without the iconic exaggerated Ed.
Easily, it is. I think the rank goes EEnE, PPG, Courage, Billy and Mandy, and Dexter. I don't have any strong opinion about Cow and Chicken or Johnny Bravo.

True also billy was as stupid grim was still a bit evil he just couldn’t do shit to billy and Mandy Irwin had an equal about of screen time as Billy’s friend (that kind of hates him) as he did Simping over Mandy and Harold was completely different

>Cause nothing really matters! >And I don't know what's sadder >The fact I even try >Or that my hopes and dreams are shattered!
>I'm not really feeling like myself today >Ay-ay-ay-ay
Why are female spinoffs inherently the worst possible content.
It reminds me of that one artist that basically told a girl that said her life should be a comic. He basically said she's a average looking ablebodied white girl she has the most generic life possible. But sadly were getting shows from those types perspective and they don't realize how average and dickish they are.
when the original auditions were held, everyone did swedish accents like the personification of Death from Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal. Greg Eagles noticed during the casting call, and decided to do a jamaican accent.
So if all these background textures are photoshopped in from real textures, is there a real mat that looks like theirs in the living room? I'd like one.
I think his defeat in the episode is a little weird, it’s not funny or anything, it’s probably the most realistic thing to happen to an old guy falling from a large height, aside from dying.
I think his defeat in the episode is a little weird, it’s not funny or anything, it’s probably the most realistic thing to happen to an old guy falling from a large height, aside from dying.
It’s probably the only time in the show where Eustace getting hurt isn’t meant to be funny.
Not sure what vibe the Checkered Past promo with the computer is meant to invoke when they say "before teh internet ruled yer lifez" when that type of humor and the lolcat impact font memes on the calendar in the background imply this is already a time of the internet where you were likely swept up in it
I mean they really can’t say that when forums and shit existed when all of those shows were on by 2000 the internet was already pretty big and Ed edd n eddy and billy and Mandy ended in the late 2000s like after the iPhone released and shit so this is bs
I assumed it meant when you could get on the internet and not be cancelled. And when you would play games (like CN games) instead of wasting time on social media.
they're too scared to say that trannies ruined everything, especially since cartoon network played a major part in making corporate establishment wokeness a thing.
Cartoon Network/Adult Swim has a retro block playing old cartoons (Dexter’s Lab, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage, Billy and Mandy). We watch them and post in this thread about them.
>Cartoon Network/Adult Swim has a retro block playing old cartoons (Dexter’s Lab, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage, Billy and Mandy).
The official channels? I missed it, correct? I only see a gumball stream atm.
>try to watch some old cartoons since there's always a thread for it >damsel in distress first night
go figure. this really isn't a better alternative to spamming teen titans go and gumball.
>Mandy in Milkshakes’ body scratching Billy’s eyes out
Now that’s the dark and disturbing early days of the show that’s so much better than what it become.
It really sucks that this industry just let out all of what should be today's "old blood". You go from 70s animators fathering in 90s animators to 10s animators doing everything today. Someone like him should be a showrunner these days.
So looking over the past episodes of Dexter’s lab, I gotta ask Cinemaphile. Where exactly do you stand on dark and bad endings? So many of these shows we see Dexter or Billy wind up implied to be dead or some cruel fate and the Ed’s usually suffer as well. But maybe it’s fine because it’s just a cartoon and also today’s cartoons seem to be too soft? But I thought I’d ask.
I don't think they shouldn't exist. They make me uncomfortable and feel a strange off put feeling but that's the point with the dead/disturbing endings. With EEE the suffrage endings aren't really supposed to make you feel bad or anything so it's just kinda lame sometimes for comedy's sake.
I don't think they shouldn't exist, but I also don't think they should be the norm. Those sorts of endings work well with shows like Courage and Grim because they have a decent chunk of kids gothic horror in its DNA (at least early on, I remember the episode that ended with Nergal turning everyone into Nergalings really freaky as a kid) and horror story protagonists rarely get out with their skin intact. But other shows, like Dexter overuse it to its detriment. Dexter can be a jerk sometimes sure, but not nearly enough to justify the amount of abuse/humiliation he goes through at the end of a lot of episodes.
I think it depends on the show? Mandy scratching out Billy’s eyes or sealing him away in the closet with bricks or cement is kinda fine cause he was annoying and deserved it? While Dexter on the other hand just gets carried away at times but still suffers a lot so it’s not as fine.
>CN still not acknowledging Johnny Bravos existence since 2014. >2023 >AS airing classic CN shows. >Not even AS would air it.
What’s the point of this block? Without his show it feels empty.
there are thieves that will take art and post it everywhere without crediting artists. Or will be a homosexual and edit them off. It happens often. Tacobelltards on facebook do this with memes too.
How would the Eds fare in Night City?
Death
I mean there's a chance they'd succeed.
It's time.
Oh boy
All season 1 episodes today, gentlemen.
>Dexters lab is on
Why were the colors for the opening titles so washed out?
How many shows today still have special title cards where something changes each time? Spongebob at least has the changing font/backgrounds.
How many shows still have title cards?
I think Amphibia did but I never watched it, I think I just saw images of it always being a wooden thing.
Polly Pocket
Steven Universe had them. Not 'today', but it was a pretty recent show.
The quality sucks.
creamed corn and sliced dee dee
>duende episode
Poor Dexter actually cares for his sister.
it was a nice little episode, he's even able to take her annoyance and be comfortable with it
After he sold her into the alien sex trade
It's another "Dee Dee is annoying" episode. Yawn.
>Ratman
damn, a kid's cartoon where a character pledges allegiance to the flag. i don't know if i've ever seen that before.
>A mere child of 30
Woah, he's just like me!
oh, ben is a real movie
See, I like Dexter, I still like it even as an adult. wasn't Edd n Eddy and Courage also repetitive lol
What a shit origin.
How did he fit through such a tiny hole?
He's Ratman! What part of that do you not understand?
God I've missed decent tv.
>God I've missed decent tv.
You know you can just stream these shows right?
Not him but cable is a different experience, sometimes you just wanna flick to something and have it on rather than seek it out. I usually have checkered past on while I multi task, but if I stream something its because it has my undivided attention.
Someone please explain Dexter's joke to me.
Ma wife!
I think I remember it being a joke about headache medication, and the headache coming back.
tl;dr the headache coming back is because of his wife.
The joke is that like his wife, the ion refuses to put out.
>you may already be a wiener
I think my stream is delayed
Because?
I'm using a sketchy website instead of the VLC
Not what I meant.
So what do you mean?
Well, think, what could I possibly have asked with the wording I used in response to that statement?
You asked "Because" and I gave you a simple answer
And answer to the wrong question.
Oops
The opera episode implied his parents should've been notified the night of his birth that Dexter is a supergenius.
Can't Dexter just create authentic money? He should certainly be smart enough.
Or create gold. Or create pearls. Or anything.
Why does Dexter owe money?
Lab electricity bills?
From NASA?
I never understood the logic behind the bill episode.
the logic is fuck you pay me
I think I missed why NASA is asking him for money.
most likely a grant or something. genuises get grants from institutions but you must show results. So maybe because of dee dee breaking stuff dexter never met his yearly requirements and just got far behind
If Dexter was honest with his parents about the lab, he could convince them to give him a place to build where Dee Dee isn't allowed, and then they could all be rich.
I feel there was no harm with his parents knowing about the lab. I think there could've been fun scenarios.
true but he saw how dee dee know went so he just decided to be hidden.
probably i could see that scene from FOP when timmy's parents find out and his dad's like turn dinkaberg into a poopsandwich or something.
I could see his dad or mom asking him to make something lol
This episode isn’t that funny.
Nah, it's pretty amusing to me.
>I would've loaned you the money if you had just asked
I can see why Dexter would've assumed she wouldn't without ruining his life (IE making the episode less about finding ways to earn money and more about doing chores or embarrassing things to get DD's)
>it's the Dexter gets laryngitis episode
It's interesting to me that Dexter's theme song is more of the credits song than the opening. It just seems like network execs would want an upfront theme song as the marketable and profitable lead tune and not the closer, Powerpuff Girls was also like that.
>raining
>thundering
I can't wait to not be able to watch Ed Edd n Eddy again since this keeps happening at 5:30 for some fucking reason.
Yep, the very first fucking frame of the opening digitized and it's already Complete Signal Loss. Why am I not allowed to enjoy anything? What convoluted universe plan involved making a network finally show good cartoons again and making the weather get bad right when one of the best ones is on in my area?

Maybe it was just coincidence that it aligned with local storms and it was a global outage screen, I can't remember.
I really only remember that for an airing of Naruto, but that was just because whatever tape they got messed up.
How would the Eds fare in the Mojave Wasteland?
where can i watch?
Contract a cable, poor ass.
I still hate how every time the scene goes from left to right or vice versa in EEE, the sides of the screen warps like it's bowing outward like you're watching the episode through a fishbowl.
Oh, this is the episode where Ed and Eddy help Double D babysit his little sister as the guide foretells. My favorite!
>the chair stack
So I'm not the only one that thought about that?
Ha. Those ads were always full of shit.
>Ed Edd n Eddy is on
>jazz noises intensify
I AM A HORSE
>You’re a horse’s
>A113 reference
Also "akai" is japanese for red and that's a red bumber.
Eddy just had a dummy of himself on hand? I aint unpacking that.
He comes prepared for any sale opportunity.
Dang. Eddy is a good juggler.
I will always love that boo-logna joke
I don't understand this image and it just makes me sad for Double D.
Looking at the comments of the original drawing, it just seemed that the storyboard artist didn't like how the episodes were getting even more cruel and slapstick-y
Ah, so it's a "dig" at his change in character. Got it.
That's really interesting.
Reminder that this same storyboard artist also added all those crying scenes on all the episodes she worked on, just like she did with Steven Universe.
A Fistful of Ed then?
Tinker Ed and Big Picture Show too.
That explains everything.
>Looking at the comments of the original drawing
Link? It was taken off her DeviantArt.
https://www.deviantart.com/raveneesimo/art/Sarcasm-Part-II-32573229
Some art still here. The original caption seems to have been deleted though
>Sarcasm: Part I
What the actual fuck did she mean by this?
I don't think I want to know anymore.
Women are fucking insane.
She sure is.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this explains the state of modern cartoons.
Why is Eddy possessed by Ren Hoek?
Didn't Raven Molisee draw Ed Edd n Eddy rape porn?
If they did, I couldn't find any. Maybe you're talking about Rebecca Sugar's EEnE art
>Didn't Raven Molisee draw Ed Edd n Eddy rape porn?
Yes she did. The style was unmistakable and I can never unsee it.
I can't tell who's more based, Raven for openly criticizing the show she works on or Danny for being cool with it.
I guess Danny isn't the type to think his show is perfect.
Danny for being cool with Raven and her cringe art.
Back when Ed had some normal sentences and reactions to things. Like him telling the guys to not mess around and leave at the start, or "My mom's gonna kill me, we gotta do something." Man, it'd have been interesting to see the show without the iconic exaggerated Ed.
I love that ending
Fuck, I used to have a thing for vacuum vore as a kid
Good thing you never watched Rocko or you'd be fucked
But anon, I have seen that one.
How did they get away with this?
There’s no blood on that knife, so it’s okay.
Eternal manlet.
When will manlets learn?
>manlet Eddy episode
As a manlet it hurts, but this episode is still funny.
I'm as tall as I ever was!
haha fuckin manlet
The virgin 5'11" Eddy versus the chad 6'0" Ed
This is the one where they make accordion shoes, right?
Yes.
Is double d usually as tall as Ed? It doesn't feel right.
Not as tall as Ed, but certainly taller than Eddy.
I never had my cheeks pinched. Not sure if that’s good or bad.
Depends. Which cheeks did you want pinched, anon?
Either
There's a lot of weird physical humor in this one. Them tickling him and Ed papping him on his flat wide papper there.
Them holding him in place is hilarious and weirdly rapey
This scene always looked uncanny.
Early EEnE was on a different level.
Cute short Eddy.
>origin of Stilt-Man
KEVIN BTFO
tater tot is such a funny fucking insult
membuh when we could make fun of short people
We can't?
I remember when I was a kid I was afraid I’d get tall enough to be out of earth like them.
That's very cute anon.
Why were there clouds in space?
The animation on Eddy's elevator shoes is so satisfying.
Yeah, they do have a very springy feel.
So what state were they in?
EEnE was the best cartoon cartoon and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't.
My guy.
Easily, it is. I think the rank goes EEnE, PPG, Courage, Billy and Mandy, and Dexter. I don't have any strong opinion about Cow and Chicken or Johnny Bravo.
Where does KND rank? I know it came very late in the Cartoon Cartoons era (It was the last one), but it's considered one of the iconic ones
I rank it pretty high.
Nature is gay
Does anyone else hear this in the Adult Swim Nature promo?
?si=6R5IoRHcIlXibsj8
Hateful fart cartoon time.
Ruined the network.
Brb I gotta go hatefully fart
Early B&M feels so different.
>cleavage
neat
wait, they have 2 living room chairs?
Ah, the "How Irwin became a Simp" episode.
>don't…stop!
Billy's dad is so different in some of these older ones.
Is it true that these episodes were animated on cel?
No. They used digital ink and paint from the very start. Only the backgrounds were done traditionally.
It's crazy what a difference lighting makes, just lowering the color tones and stuff made it look so much better and less harsh
>I'm pregnant!
>That's the third time this week!
>Hentai be like
The TV dialogue in this episode is real underrated.
ikr, also really crazy how different this part was from the later stuff.
>Billy is inside Mandy.
Irwinbros... we lost since the start.
Damn, it works
Is anyone else's spectrum app laggy and choppy af?
Weird seeing Mandy’s parents this early and how mostly consistent their designs stay.
Early Irwin. We never get to see his dog again.
Mandy had a nose to pick?
>You can pick your friends
>You can pick your nose
>But you can’t pick your friend’s nose
God, I love that line.
How bad do you think she fucked billy up?
EXTREMELY
He survived though
He got better.
at least it wasn't cat rape
Wait is this the cannon episode that caused the attraction between Irwin and Mandy? And it was Billy take over Mandy's body?
It is his first appearance, isn't it?
Yes
Why does Billy and Mandy's earliest episodes feel so different from the later ones?
More emphasis on gothic dark humor than gross out humor.
because the writing was more subtle and more well grim.
It's really just Grim, Billy, and Mandy fucking around.
Different animation style more focused on the mortal world Rather than the underworld very limited gross out shorter episodes the characters all look different the outlines are thicker the first season had a lot of episodes that had darker endings and technically it was a different show
Also, Mandy has a personality.
True also billy was as stupid grim was still a bit evil he just couldn’t do shit to billy and Mandy Irwin had an equal about of screen time as Billy’s friend (that kind of hates him) as he did Simping over Mandy and Harold was completely different
>no deaths in the obituaries
So it's like that family guy episode? Explains how crazy shit gets in the later seasons.
The humour was so different in the early episodes.
He could be used in anti-smoking ads.
was that AJ?
MANDY SMILED!
Grim just looks like the average MTF tranny
>man in woman's clothing
I thought cartoons weren't woke back then
Your post was too slow.
The stream I'm using is like a minute behind yours
That's too bad for you.
I’m ugly too, Grim.
Grim will never be a model
The Ugly Barnacle
Poor Grim.
>VLC stopped at this exact frame
perfect timing
Late post, sorry, but does anyone else find it odd how the first season of Ed Edd n Eddy has no copyright notice in the credits?
That’s odd.
Why do they never play those on weekends?
You know? When people get time off?
>Grim doesn't eat breakfast but drinks coffee
>that cow on the milk carton
Was cow and chicken airing at the time of this episode?
i missed it
In reruns, yea.
You know, we never see Mr. Snuggles again, in the later seasons. He would only make a small cameo in a flashback to the pilot.
I think late in the shows run they started putting him on milk cartons or missing posters as a joke when the series started making meta jokes randomly around like the last year it aired (most notably in big boogie adventure spider queen and underfist
Actually I think the mr snuggles Reference was in spider queen I just meant the meta humor weirdly
remember rotten com?
grimm needs the internet
It would just end up being footage of rotting meat and produce.
Aw, that was nice.
HE'S GONNA JUMP THE GORG
I MUST SAVE DE CHILDREN
Woof…seems like the show runners hire just about anybody for this show…
Huh
So, any bets on what episode is up next?
You are very bald, Cinemaphile.
I wish they'd stop advertising that shit adventure time spinoff already. Just look at the theme's fucking lyrics.
>I'm not really feeling like myself today (ay-ay)
>Hated every job I've had
>What's wrong with me (ay-ay)
>Everyday's the same
>Painfully mundane
>Cause I'm running from my feelings
>And my fear of sudden change
>Every time I leave my room I wanna DIE (ay-ay)
>Even when I'm with my friends
>I'm alone inside (ooh ooh)
>Cause nothing really matters!
>And I don't know what's sadder
>The fact I even try
>Or that my hopes and dreams are shattered!
>I'm not really feeling like myself today
>Ay-ay-ay-ay
Why are female spinoffs inherently the worst possible content.
Mute button, pal. Even your keyboard should have one.
It reminds me of that one artist that basically told a girl that said her life should be a comic. He basically said she's a average looking ablebodied white girl she has the most generic life possible. But sadly were getting shows from those types perspective and they don't realize how average and dickish they are.
Go back to twitter nigga we hate woke shows here
???
Damn, well at least that last guy was eloquent.
Debate: Would Grim Adventures have been more, or less popular had they stuck with the idea of Grimm having a Swedish accent?
It would’ve been cancelled after the first season and buried.
What?
when the original auditions were held, everyone did swedish accents like the personification of Death from Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal. Greg Eagles noticed during the casting call, and decided to do a jamaican accent.
Were they all told to do that, or did they all just decide to do it?
I think Greg Eagles was trying to do a Swedish accent, but it kept sounding like a Jamaican accent and Atoms decided to stick with that.
Poor fucker.
Why is his raincoat all the way in the barn?
courage is such a nice little fella
>Billy using Mandy's body to kiss her mom on the lips
pretty based not gonna lie
Man early season grim is so weird because it constantly flips from typical cartoon antics to genuine kids gothic horror.
How did Eustace bulge out his eyes like that.
Genetics. Like that guy on believe it or not.
Magic.
My dog just walked in.
That’s some Killer Klowns from Outer Space level of Shadow Puppets.
Best episode
OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!!!
>OOBA BOOBA BOOBA!
courage being a dick time
You sir are extremely bald.
Such a goated ep. I swear I can watch the hunch and courage play bells and acrobatics for a whole ep.
>Are you bald? Yes
FUCKING GOT HIM
>tfw my hairline's receding
Are you bald? Yes
So if all these background textures are photoshopped in from real textures, is there a real mat that looks like theirs in the living room? I'd like one.
>first the manlet episode
>now the bald episode
Should've had the old Dexter episode for the full package.
Damn, that worked?
This adult swim commerdal is my favorite because of them using hank say I am romancing your with approaching intent
How did Eustace not die?
They just don't build them like that anymore. Different generation.
They kill him off quite a bit. He's like Kenny.
I always expected him to ironically get a bad back from the fall.
He seemed pretty messed up, not even humorously.
He’s been through worse
I think his defeat in the episode is a little weird, it’s not funny or anything, it’s probably the most realistic thing to happen to an old guy falling from a large height, aside from dying.
It’s probably the only time in the show where Eustace getting hurt isn’t meant to be funny.
Remember that part in Greek mythology where Zeus was a bird and raped somebody?
THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW!
Not sure what vibe the Checkered Past promo with the computer is meant to invoke when they say "before teh internet ruled yer lifez" when that type of humor and the lolcat impact font memes on the calendar in the background imply this is already a time of the internet where you were likely swept up in it
I mean I actually stopped to watch TV back then, now I'm on the computer 24/7.
I mean they really can’t say that when forums and shit existed when all of those shows were on by 2000 the internet was already pretty big and Ed edd n eddy and billy and Mandy ended in the late 2000s like after the iPhone released and shit so this is bs
For me computers were slow as shit when I was growing up.
I wasn't on forums like that back then as I do now. The internet well and truly took over my life.
I assumed it meant when you could get on the internet and not be cancelled. And when you would play games (like CN games) instead of wasting time on social media.
they're too scared to say that trannies ruined everything, especially since cartoon network played a major part in making corporate establishment wokeness a thing.
back when there was no social media or big video sharing sites so it wasnt a 24 h0ur stream of shit daily
Imagine some kid stumbling apon this block and thinking these shows were alot better than whatever the hell airs nowadays
Kids play Roblox and Fortnite as soon as they get home from school. I imagine why they were able to start airing [AS] so early.
Let's be honest. 99.9% of gen alpha are not going to have the will to look away from their ipads.
they would probably see dexter's lab and think they're boring as fuck.
>Goose God obsessed with having sex with a human woman
Not again, Zeus!
and then a long came Zeus!
muriel reminds me of madeline
>She will take my corkscrew penis!
What song is that in the background?
Does Goose Zeus have the same VA as Katz?

It's kinda cool to see Courage forced into helping Eustace's relationship with Muriel
Courage have never tried to break them. Muriel clearly loves Eustace, for some reason.
Sorry but, what are these "checkered past" threads about?
Cartoon Network/Adult Swim has a retro block playing old cartoons (Dexter’s Lab, Ed Edd n Eddy, Courage, Billy and Mandy). We watch them and post in this thread about them.

The official channels? I missed it, correct? I only see a gumball stream atm.
Yeah. It is over.
It should be on after gumball, if you're on the west coast.
>I am not his queen.
Imagine being mistaken for a women in this scenario.
I mean he is Greek.
Lmao this goose wants to bang a truck
That just sounds like something you'd see in the Canadian tabloids.
>Falling in love with a car.
>try to watch some old cartoons since there's always a thread for it
>damsel in distress first night
go figure. this really isn't a better alternative to spamming teen titans go and gumball.
>Mandy in Milkshakes’ body scratching Billy’s eyes out
Now that’s the dark and disturbing early days of the show that’s so much better than what it become.
She also scratched his nose and all his nose stuffing spilled out. Of course you couldn’t show that in a kids cartoon.
FUCK THE TRUCK!
Does the Eustace the Father-in-Law?
the news come out
Eustace had it rough in this episode.
> Eustace had it rough in this episode.
He deserved it , honestly.
Did the stretch films logo hold on the closed mouth slightly longer than usual? It felt like it did.
That episode sucked.
You suck.
That episode honked.
And now 5 hours of king of the hill.
what? it's 2 episodes tonight.
You think they'll ever show 90s anime on Toonami?
probably not, the streaming wars are still going on and they need to bait in the boomers with something
Imagine all the newfags seeing Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Dilly
Forgot to include Eustace.
It is indeed just a cartoon. Not everything has to be the care bears, Mr. Reagan.
I don't think they shouldn't exist. They make me uncomfortable and feel a strange off put feeling but that's the point with the dead/disturbing endings. With EEE the suffrage endings aren't really supposed to make you feel bad or anything so it's just kinda lame sometimes for comedy's sake.
Eh. With Eustace is is usually Karma.
Some are better than others.
I think pre-schoolers should be the ones getting nothing but good endings in their shows.
I think it depends on the show? Mandy scratching out Billy’s eyes or sealing him away in the closet with bricks or cement is kinda fine cause he was annoying and deserved it? While Dexter on the other hand just gets carried away at times but still suffers a lot so it’s not as fine.
It's a cartoon. The lab'll be back after the break.
>it's a Hank vs annoying little shit episode
Yeah I'm not tuning in unless it's a season 1-7 episode.
Its a good thing Caleb never terrorized the Freeman household.
What do you think of digital animated shows using real life textures and photorealistic images for their backgrounds?
I think it looks neat.
Was Courage the OG at doing this? Gumball is one show I know that does this today sometimes.
The Rugrats movies had photorealistic clouds for their backgrounds.
taxidermy is creepy. why is it not like, a point of contention on whether or not its allowed, let alone making contests and events out of it
>CN still not acknowledging Johnny Bravos existence since 2014.
>2023
>AS airing classic CN shows.
>Not even AS would air it.
What’s the point of this block? Without his show it feels empty.
his va touched a kid
But anon, John K wasn’t the voice of Johnny Bravo.
Source?
dudeinheimersepherini, just believe it
Then why are they showing Dexter since Johnny and Dexter's dad have the same voice
Johnny's VA is in Dexter's lab and Billy & Mandy.
I have to go now, bye.
every day, less and less posts
i'd be posting in these threads if it weren't for timezones
was that a fucking furry bumper for adult swimlike 30 mins ago? the one with a theater?
>starry's slogan really is just a shit internet meme
jesus
I never thought something could actually make me wish I still had cable.
how many fucking watermarks do you need
there are thieves that will take art and post it everywhere without crediting artists. Or will be a homosexual and edit them off. It happens often. Tacobelltards on facebook do this with memes too.
i could remove all 4 of those still
>t. proompters
Did you proompt your pants?
>Or will be a homosexual and edit them off.
Nah, those people are based.
God, sometimes I wish Courage would just smack the shit out of Eustace
>wish courage could beat the shit out of Eustace.
