But isn't the show mocking so called "toxic masculinity"? Despite being a hunk Johnny gets turned down by every chick due to his obnoxious personality.
AS had to remove the Aqua Teen episode where Shake turns black because zoomers were too dumb to understand that it was making fun of the absurdity of stereotypes. Satire is dead.
But isn't the show mocking so called "toxic masculinity"? Despite being a hunk Johnny gets turned down by every chick due to his obnoxious personality.
>But isn't the show mocking so called "toxic masculinity"?
Yes, but zoomer audiences won’t get it and they don’t even know who Elvis is.
AS had to remove the Aqua Teen episode where Shake turns black because zoomers were too dumb to understand that it was making fun of the absurdity of stereotypes. Satire is dead.
>forced zoomer meme
just hurry up and tell the world you're retarded amerifats
The show was popular on CN anon, the character always been seen with other shows like PPG and Courage, the show isn't knowledged for obvious and dumb reason
>Cow and Chicken constantly shat over on /toon/ but Ren and Stimpy is hailed.
Is this just contrarianism, history revision or did the show only did well in non-anglo countries?
Unpopular in the way an executive says with his finger mashing the "cancel" button. Don't let certain chinbeards on youtube decide the discourse of then.
Dexter doesn't have a special, so they'll have to cut it.
Ed, Edd n' Eddy has "Ed, Edd n' Eddy's Boo-Haw Haw"
Billy & Mandy has "Grim or Gregory" and "Billy & Mandy's Jacked Up Halloween"
Courage doesn't have one, so it might have to be cut, as well.
What the fuck? Wasn't this episode on no more then 2 weeks ago?
I'm assuming this is what happens when there's no set order for episodes. They've been airing shit randomly with loose cohesion like romance or song episodes or memes, but recently they've started jumping around Season 1 episodes for the shows so they ended up replaying a s1 of dexter. I doubt this is an immediate lack of variety issue.
Dexter's Rival even back when the show originally aired was in two half hours of the show. The only episode to do so besides Dexter's Lab: A Story (Which was added in one of the season 1 half hours when the episode Barbequor got banned)
>On September 16, 2021, Deezen was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer after refusing to leave a restaurant in LaVale, Maryland. According to the Allegany County Sheriff's Department, he had been asked by the restaurant's staff after causing a disturbance and refused to do so, prompting a response from law enforcement. Upon the deputy's arrival, Deezen hid behind a woman in a booth, refused multiple orders to exit, and reportedly threw plates, bowls, and food that struck one of the deputies. Deezen was eventually removed and detained in the Allegany County Jail to await a court appearance, where he will face charges of second degree assault, disorderly conduct and trespassing.[19][20]
>On April 8, 2022, Deezen was arrested after he had unlawfully entered into a nursing facility. Two hours before his arrest, he had been told to stay away from the property. According to the Maryland State Police, Deezen has been charged with fourth-degree burglary, two counts of trespassing, and one count for disturbing the peace. He was then taken to Allegany County Detention Center.[21][22] According to Deezen's friend and former social media manager Bob Barnett, it was revealed that Deezen has been struggling with a mental disorder at the time of the incident.[21] In August 2022, he was ruled unfit to stand trial as a result of his mental health struggles and is undergoing treatment at the Maryland Department of Health and that he will remain there until he no longer poses a threat.[23]
I wish I could keep up with this block but cable TV is incredibly annoying to sit through sometimes. Part of me just wants to stream these shows when I feel like it
No. Some nerds knew about the OVA and maybe the manga but that was it. Jojo didn't take off in America until the anime aired, before then discussion of it in an American context was limited almost entirely to niche online discussion about the manga and people who were aware of the OVA.
Collecting bottles and cans to get the deposit back is something kids in my state did because every grocery store had an automated can/bottle counting machine that would spit out a receipt that you could get cash for inside the store. Vs having to trek all the way to a recycling plant.
Wait hold up, this episode of EEnE… The Ed’s actually got some bottles that they could’ve legit recycled for Jawkbreaker money? But before they cash in and go to the candy store, Ed gets sad about being too young to see an R-rated movie he’s excited for. Both Double D and Eddy choose to stop and try to cheer him up — Eddy especially sticks out to me, not getting mad about not hightailing it to the candy store, and even offering to use the bottle money for movie tickets instead of Jawbreakers?
And then all 3 Ed’s hop on a bike and just start goofing around like normal kids, messing with shit in the junkyard and acting out the movie. I’m so used to Eddy being the biggest asshole, but this episode has a real comfy start and it reminds how good these three friends are, despite their individual problems and problems as a group. I miss this show.
Man, the Kankers really did just show up in these old episodes just to fuck up anything they were doing and were less about chasing them for love, like stealing their money before.
I like the idea of them being the neighborhood bullies. Seems like it'd be pretty fun. Actually, I think I like the tone of season 1 more than the rest of the seasons.
The Eds argue less, Eddy acts more smooth rather than just get angry and shout, Double D is more of a team player and complains less, and Ed can form coherent sentences and has slightly more attitude.
Wasn't Dexter the first of the Checkered Past shows to stop airing reruns? I know Courage ended before Dexter, but I feel like Courage aired reruns after Dexter stopped
they used to be able to make fun of it still, though. The Simpsons writers of all eras have always been left leaning but they weren't above poking fun at them either, what happened? what changed?
It's a non-connected ending. Like those Tom and Jerry shorts where one or both of them die at the end. Tom gets his head cut off at the end of one short.
I always hated episodes like this as a kid. Even when I was just a boy I knew if my parents were around there'd probably be some sort of attention on me if there was some seductress type character and how I'd be interpreting it. Not on a deep level, but just having a female character doing something like that I felt like I had eyes on my shoulders for it, not even in a judgmental way. It was just awkward as fuck.
>eustace is gone or comatose or fucked at the end of an episode >everyone is happy >eustace is gone or comatose or fucked at the middle of an episode >it has to be solved
Early CGI effects warping something always looks weird. Like that fluid Spongebob scene with him coming through the wall. Also the CGI opening of Disney's Inspector Gadget on the black background messed with me as a kid too. I think I mainly disliked the little mechanical arm trying to keep the Disney logo from falling apart, hiding itself, and then it abruptly does anyway
>that fluid Spongebob scene with him coming through the wall
That also made me laugh. This is that kind of irrational fear thing like the disney dvds giving kids anxiety. Ain't it?
as a kid most of this was backround noise as i played everquest. only the slab episode got me because it reminded me of the Scary Stories to tell in the dark books with the golden arm/dude eating a corpse toe
Is there an episode of Courage you find really creepy that isn't talked about as much as the others? I feel like there are a lot of hidden ones that are overlooked.

>peggy episode >and then another later-season episode where everyone acts antagonistic and retarded for no reason (snake)
man they're really showing shit episode after shit episode for koth
>don't you want women who are fancier, daintier, girlier? >honey, wispy women are a dime a dozen
Damn, this episode really is from a different time. Dainty, girlier girls are not a dime a dozen anymore.
The writers have this weird obsession with dogs. Itd be fine if it were just Hank's character but the narrative vindicates him for some weird reason, feels out of place for king of the hill and a symptom of the later seasons beginning to decline.
Now that the block is over what do you think of Adult Swim's current primetime block? Too many sitcoms if you ask me. I miss Family Guy though, and where the fuck is Auqa Teen, Robot Chicken, and Eric Andre?!
Too problematic for a demasculinized and feminized audience.
But isn't the show mocking so called "toxic masculinity"? Despite being a hunk Johnny gets turned down by every chick due to his obnoxious personality.
Welcome to 2023.
Zoomers dont understand satire.
Twitter people don't think logically dude
Nobody even watched an episode of pepe le pew
yes, but idpol liberals lack common sense and integrity
AS had to remove the Aqua Teen episode where Shake turns black because zoomers were too dumb to understand that it was making fun of the absurdity of stereotypes. Satire is dead.
Ironically Shake was more friendly and likable as a black stereotype than as his normal self
Whatever happened to satire?
>But isn't the show mocking so called "toxic masculinity"?
Yes, but zoomer audiences won’t get it and they don’t even know who Elvis is.
>forced zoomer meme
just hurry up and tell the world you're retarded amerifats
It's already widespread. Accept it or take your meds.
Why are you so obsessed?
not him but when are rubbing it on everyone faces is kinda difficult to think of it
>when are rubbing it on everyone faces is kinda difficult
What?
Simply because the character and series really aren’t that popular
The show is Cow and Chicken tier
The show was popular on CN anon, the character always been seen with other shows like PPG and Courage, the show isn't knowledged for obvious and dumb reason
>Cow and Chicken constantly shat over on /toon/ but Ren and Stimpy is hailed.
Is this just contrarianism, history revision or did the show only did well in non-anglo countries?
Shitposters.
It wasn't said it was hated, just unpopular
Unpopular in the way an executive says with his finger mashing the "cancel" button. Don't let certain chinbeards on youtube decide the discourse of then.
Cow & Chicken was an incredibly stupid show, all things considered. You gotta turn your brain off to properly enjoy it.
I know, Mr. Enter.
Twitter of course.
You will have to buy the expansion pack

What are they gonna do for October?
New bumps
What Halloween Specials could they air on Checkered Past?
Dexter doesn't have a special, so they'll have to cut it.
Ed, Edd n' Eddy has "Ed, Edd n' Eddy's Boo-Haw Haw"
Billy & Mandy has "Grim or Gregory" and "Billy & Mandy's Jacked Up Halloween"
Courage doesn't have one, so it might have to be cut, as well.
They couldn't air other old Cartoon Network shows?
I don't see why they couldn't, but they pretty much stuck to these 4 shows since the block started.
>NIGHT NIGHT FRIENDS
IT'S 5PM
He was quietly cancelled in burgerland
JB is for latingods only
>rerun
And so it begins.
I'm assuming this is what happens when there's no set order for episodes. They've been airing shit randomly with loose cohesion like romance or song episodes or memes, but recently they've started jumping around Season 1 episodes for the shows so they ended up replaying a s1 of dexter. Dexter's Rival even back when the show originally aired was in two half hours of the show. The only episode to do so besides Dexter's Lab: A Story (Which was added in one of the season 1 half hours when the episode Barbequor got banned)
Thanks for beating me to it, anon.
>Premiered on my 7th birthday
Neat
>when the episode Barbequor got banned
The Silver Spooner episode? Wonder if they have the balls to air that nowadays.
Is that a pun?
no, not because of the innuendo but because they were threatened to be sued over the silver surfer parody at all
Well, it's Adult Swim.
Which one, /toon/?
Definitely The Fridays intro
Cartoon Cartoon Fridays intro is fantastic.
The first one, no contest. Nothing beats that era.
First one, NO Contest.
Whenever I see the Cartoon Cartoons intro I remember what THEY took from us!
>Coop in the intro
SOUL!!!
Is the whole block a repeat or just Dexter?
They're taking the episode with memes in them too far now
Huh
mandrake if he real

I’m imagining him doing the Mandark laugh while he did this
I never realized how identical Zach Hadel's shtick is to this guy's.
I wish I could keep up with this block but cable TV is incredibly annoying to sit through sometimes. Part of me just wants to stream these shows when I feel like it
Ooh, piece of candy.
AIR THE BANNED DEXTERS EPISODE
oh it was that thing from the bumper haha i recognize that wow
was jojo even a thing in 90s america?
No. Some nerds knew about the OVA and maybe the manga but that was it. Jojo didn't take off in America until the anime aired, before then discussion of it in an American context was limited almost entirely to niche online discussion about the manga and people who were aware of the OVA.
You're also forgetting the Capcom fighting game. the original ZA WARUDO memes came from that.
I like how if somebody didn't know about the OVA, they'd have no idea what JoJo is from the game alone.
"Diesel" was pretty much inspired by it.
>inspired
That's putting it lightly
Yeah and JoJo was "inspired" by Fist of the North Star. What goes around comes around.
Even the earliest JoJo is very different than Fist of the North Star.
Wrong. Fist of the North Star is also "inspired" heavily by Mad Max 2 and Enter the Dragon.
>The Stardust Crusaders OVA
>Diesel
>Heritage for the Future
That's all i know was known here then.
I missed it, there was a Jojo reference?
Mandark named his biological monster that he used for a science fair project "jojo". just a green blob with 4 eyes
Mayor’s voice
>Ah, Jojo!
NANI?
There was a dub of the OVA.
Meant for
Mayor of Townsville?
Spongebob
Rocky!
What is that amazing smell?
Dexter's slav!
What the fuck are you talking about?
Ed boys time
Time for the Eds!
Warriors. Come out to play-ay!
>We'll see it on TV in a year.
More like two years.
>Double D can be my wife
What did he mean by this?
>"Double D can be my wife."
I wish I was never born
>Adults Only
>On Adult Swim
Adult swim lost it’s meaning years ago. Now it’s Basedboy Swim.
Just like CN in '04
Time for a comfy Ed episode.
I watched this episode randomly last week and now it's here kek
>Robot Bounty Hunter
I'll be back.
>bottle deposits
This actually significantly narrows down where in the US this show is set.
Surely there are more places in the country with recycling centers.
Collecting bottles and cans to get the deposit back is something kids in my state did because every grocery store had an automated can/bottle counting machine that would spit out a receipt that you could get cash for inside the store. Vs having to trek all the way to a recycling plant.
I've always felt EEnE was set in New England
Canada
Show is explicitly set in the United States.
But it was made by canadians, so that might play a part in some things being inconsistent with America.
Yes that is probably the case, I think every province in Canada has a bottle deposit system.
>you will never hang out with the Ed’s in the comfy van
>Kankers interested in Kevin
odd
to be quietly frankly honest most kids are watching 3-5 minute cartoons on their phones just tapping the next and next until its time for bed
only adults have cable these days
>Dork?
He almost sounds offended by it.
THE ROBOTS ARE COMING!
Ed was so different in Season 1 or at least the first half of it.

I’m so used to Eddy being the biggest asshole, but this episode has a real comfy start and it reminds how good these three friends are, despite their individual problems and problems as a group. I miss this show.
>ed, shut u-
shut what? what was ed going to shut??
>Who invented birds anyways?
Eddy was the founder of Birds Aren't Real
I always wanted a treehouse, but none of the trees in my yard were big enough for one.
How many kids actually did have a treehouse anyway? None of the boomers I've known would bother building shit like that.
I think I might've known somebody with one, but I'm not sure.
Boomers had it all
gotta love the sumo sounds
Trees have feelings?
The piece of wood has a brain?
Ah, the slamvan. What a good fucking innuendo.
SUBALUBWA!!
When are they going to air "Ed is Dead"?
Right after "Special Ed".
Remember those Ed Edd'n Eddy sound effect videos?
The Eds were pretty harmless in the first season.
Eddy's so cute when he's not yelling all the time
Protect your butt
>Eddy caring about Ed's safety.
This was always weird to me watching this episode.
He can’t lose the strength of the group
Man, the Kankers really did just show up in these old episodes just to fuck up anything they were doing and were less about chasing them for love, like stealing their money before.
I like the idea of them being the neighborhood bullies. Seems like it'd be pretty fun. Actually, I think I like the tone of season 1 more than the rest of the seasons.
It makes more sense. Any teenager that wants anything to do with kids is going to just want to make their lives hell. Like in KND.
The Eds argue less, Eddy acts more smooth rather than just get angry and shout, Double D is more of a team player and complains less, and Ed can form coherent sentences and has slightly more attitude.
Double D has some dodge game.
Why did Eddy look more neon/pink than usual here?
Season 1 was weird.
That mama sound effect always gets me.
Time to get FULL ON FRIENDSHIP
>Dr. Gaylord
What was Sega thinking? Chris Thorndyke…
This episode always cracks me up hard, it’s like a shitpost version of Small Soldiers.
Wrong cartoon, Eddy.
Oh I thought this was the one where they come to life lel
Wasn't Dexter the first of the Checkered Past shows to stop airing reruns? I know Courage ended before Dexter, but I feel like Courage aired reruns after Dexter stopped
Which movie was it where there was a car chase on Grim's scythe? I wanna see that one.
what happened to Nergal's weird hell/checkerboard domain from this episode? in a later episode he just lives in a cave with wife and son
He renovated?
Censored with the rest of the abstract and demonic elements of the show, like how the imps look.
I like that Mandy actually has facial expressions.
How long would the Eds last in Night City?
Did anybody else thought that Mandy was Billy’s sister for the longest time?
>it's the "person" scouts
I see this episode takes place in 2023.
>Dung Beetles, Crickets, and Nightcrawlers
It DOES take place in 2023!
It's funny because political correctness and bug-eating was already a left-wing stereotype as far back as the 90s.
they used to be able to make fun of it still, though. The Simpsons writers of all eras have always been left leaning but they weren't above poking fun at them either, what happened? what changed?
Professional comedy writers
Vs
Kids fresh out of college
Usually the old writers are there to reign them in, like they did in the 90s. Now it's just the newbies and the corporate heads leading them on.
COOKIES!
>person scouts
Lel they predicted the modern state of the BSA
i like this grim more than the grim that sits in the closet crying singing country music
>mandy concerned when it looked like billy was dying
what the fuck
Yeah I kind of miss when she wasn’t a full evil sociopath
Those cookies look good.
>Mandy looking worried when she thought Billy was dying.
Man, these 1st seasons feel so different from their general shows.
Yea it's been a pretty weird experience, good for a nostalgia block.
>Dung Beetles, Marsh Crickets, and Night Crawlers
Well, at least they're rich in protein.
Eat ze bugs
The bottom left looks like a Cow & Chicken reject.
>you will eat the bugs
Is that symbolism for what’s McDonalds secret recipe?
I think it's a general jab on the masses not being aware of how bad things secretly are and then not changing their habits when they learn.
>Everyone keeps eating the cookies anyway.
Aunt Kali's got a nice voice, shame she doesn't show up in other episodes
There was another episode she appeared in, but only in a fantasy sequence.
I like that they don’t have a couch by the tv for some reason
>naked mom in a kid's show
I can see why this has to be on adult swim now.
Would you?
Why did they retcon Grims moms design?
Aside from Candi Milo’s voice?
Wait a second…
Yes, mother.
>Grim is actually dead Eustace.
Mrs. Wakeman?
I thought the same thing
>Harold Lloyd on the tv
You wouldn't expect a cartoon from today to reference something that old, proportionately.
Literally me as a kid watching TV
>a mandy focused episode back when she had at least a little personality
damn, nice
i miss winter so much bros
Too chad for modern days.
Is the theme today "JoJo"?
This show has an awful lot of voice actors per episode…
it's a general cast credits, there's plenty of characters/voices listed who aren't in every episode
What was being said backwards in the end credits anyways?
It says "No no, this is the end of the show, you're watching it backwards."
>No no, this is the end of the show, you're watching it backwards.
>"No, no! This is the end of the show! You're watching it backwards."
No no. This is the end of the show, you're watching it backwards
So...
How'd that get fixed?
It's a non-connected ending. Like those Tom and Jerry shorts where one or both of them die at the end. Tom gets his head cut off at the end of one short.
I Know that, but I want to know if anybody here has any hypothetical explanations that aren't just "Don't worry, continuity isn't a thing"
Why?
Debate: Would YOU consider Billy & Mandy to be a Cartoon Cartoon?
Yes.
Yeah, same with Evil Con Carne
t. Watched Billy & Mandy and voted for it during the Big Pick in 2000
>Pilot in 2000
>Series by Late 2001
>Had it's own CC opener
That ending reminded me of that one Ren & Stimpy episode.
One of the line producers in B&M is literally named Cuck.
Maxwell Atoms was ahead of his time.
He was a producer for a lot of shows.
>Learning with Pibby
>Producer
So does this mean that Pibby was made by a cuck?
I remember her design, but I didn't remember anything about her being associated with a puddle.
What happened to halfway decent tv?
The 2010s
Where did those talentless twats come from?
and then all the new blood snuffing out any stragglers left in the industry with cancel culture.
2008 writers strike ruined television plus that Boston ATHF lite brite incident giving Stu Snyder power at Cartoon Network.
Who the fuck is Stu Synder anyway?
I always hated episodes like this as a kid. Even when I was just a boy I knew if my parents were around there'd probably be some sort of attention on me if there was some seductress type character and how I'd be interpreting it. Not on a deep level, but just having a female character doing something like that I felt like I had eyes on my shoulders for it, not even in a judgmental way. It was just awkward as fuck.
You could get abducted in under a minute, dude.
Would it have worked in live action?
Fat chicks would be getting tattoos of Grim.
I'd fall for the same trap honestly
That puddle can't be very clean, right?
Probably not
So she probably stinks?
Not monstrous enough.
>eustace is gone or comatose or fucked at the end of an episode
>everyone is happy
>eustace is gone or comatose or fucked at the middle of an episode
>it has to be solved
Wow, I think this is the only time Muriel actually cared about Eustace like this.
Would it work as a motion capture movie?
Still would
Awww 🙁
Still would
She had a nice Raven thing going on, wearing black with a garden gnomeel between her boobs.
>All those skulls looked like they were smiling
They fucking knew what they were doing
>Skeletons
Death, by Snu Snu!
damn women always appearing in my bath yo
As a kid, the cgi bump in the rug kind of unerved me, a bit.
Really? It made me laugh.
It's just the rendering, the higher frame rate, and the warping just looked so out of place, and it just comes out of Nowhere.
Ain't it?
It's probably something like that yeah.
I always thought it was funny, like the CGI in Spongebob
as a kid most of this was backround noise as i played everquest. only the slab episode got me because it reminded me of the Scary Stories to tell in the dark books with the golden arm/dude eating a corpse toe
I remember being a little impressed by it.
>She welcomes him home even though she seems to assume he was being unfaithful
Woman was too good for the world
I love how nice she was to the dumbass Goose Zeus yesterday.
>travel to a country where you don’t know the language
Stupid bitch.
YES THE TARANTINO EPISODE!
Is there an episode of Courage you find really creepy that isn't talked about as much as the others? I feel like there are a lot of hidden ones that are overlooked.
Evil Weevil.
Couldn't watch that shit as a kid, i fuckin' hate bugs.
Fuck! I’m late! This is my favorite Courage Episode!
How does such a deformed man become famous?
Nepotism
all these specific filming terms are hilarious
I wonder how these backgrounds were made. Did they take a bunch of photos and warp them to the background art perspective or something?
Is there an AI voice program yet with the Computer’s voice from this show?
What's going on here?
>He's dead
>YES
>He's Dead.
>"yes!"
i love this funny little dog guy
Same
>Made canon snuff films and had a body count before he became a zombie
I know kids shows have become pussified these days, and it's a bit of a cliche, how the FUCK did they get away with this?
So the joke is that they make Snuff Films right?
>died in prison
Was it suicide?
That animation of the zombie rising back to life used to creep me out
It was really well done.
this is the most family friendly story of a serial killer
I'm surprised they got away with saying that killed 12 people. Even action cartoon villains rarely have confirm kills
Solid Snake
How much of a caricature is this?
You tell me.
I’d watch a movie directed by Eustace.
There'd be a lot of women put in their place.
It feels like episodes with Courage talking tend to have a bit more of a childish ending gag like that one, I guess it balances out with the death references.
Shit ending
A stupid dog wrote it.
It wasn’t my script!
Reminder that Benton would return for another episode, but with a different voice.
That was weird.
Dude the guy who voiced Tarantella was the original voice of Speed Racer
>Dude the guy who voiced Tarantella was the original voice of Speed Racer
He was also the series' voice director, and did a bunch of other voices for the show including the magic talking tree, Mad Dog, and Robot Randy.
why do cartoons hate tarantino
Because of some stupid remark about cartoons he made back then. The Studio IG part of Kill Bill tells me maybe he changed his mind a long time ago.
How would the Eds fare in the Mojave Wasteland?
no quarters or jawbreakers
they would die
ed would get sold into slavery
dd would be some gay raiders top bitch
eddy would be a raider running around with 10 str, 10 agi, 10 luc
I wonder who could be behind this post…
legion? kankers?
>legion talking sweet about raiders
>kankers talking crap about any eds
I'm thinking someone… smaller.
Kevin?
Really short, and with a bad taste in fashion.
Jimmy?
>peggy episode
>and then another later-season episode where everyone acts antagonistic and retarded for no reason (snake)
man they're really showing shit episode after shit episode for koth
So there are definitely more corpses under there, right?
Where there Viking ghosts that came back exactly for that reason and could only be stopped by the windmill?
I was talking about how the guy was buried there. They wouldn't just make a cemetery to bury one dude, would they?
The plot of land is full of cursed shit.
>it's a Peggy's feet episode
It's a drag queen episode, actually.
Is that a chud
Yes
No, just a crossdresser.
EGATS
ROOD
I like how hank just refuses to accept the premise of a drag queen. his brain just shits down
Hey, he's at least nice to them, that's more than I'd expect out of middle aged white guy christan from Texas in the mid 2000s
Is Joseph autistic?
he was raised by dale so maybe not by nature but certainly by nurture
>don't you want women who are fancier, daintier, girlier?
>honey, wispy women are a dime a dozen
Damn, this episode really is from a different time. Dainty, girlier girls are not a dime a dozen anymore.
He legit looks like an old lady.
This is literally the worst most out of touch marketing campaign of all time.
which one, i wasnt watching the ads
The HBO Max ads.
You'd think Hank was banging Ladybird with how hard he wanks dogs in the later seasons.
can snakes really go down toilets like that?
Is that John Goodman?
>It's the episode where Dale kills Bobby's pet snake
Genuinely what the fuck were they thinking?
What a way to completely ruin a character.
The writers have this weird obsession with dogs. Itd be fine if it were just Hank's character but the narrative vindicates him for some weird reason, feels out of place for king of the hill and a symptom of the later seasons beginning to decline.
Any jokes aside, they made Dale actually unlikeable before the end of the show by having him shove kids off bikes and shit for wacky sitcom humor.
> having him shove kids off bikes and shit
Those kids probably deserved it.
He put on a knight's armor and just started fucking with random people in a cliche "abuse of power" episode.
Now that the block is over what do you think of Adult Swim's current primetime block? Too many sitcoms if you ask me. I miss Family Guy though, and where the fuck is Auqa Teen, Robot Chicken, and Eric Andre?!
They need to concede more room to checkered past. There's no way they're going to give that old edgy stuff another glance, let alone a second chance.
I love the edge Bob's Burgers used to have
>Robot jacking off joke
I miss rascal Louise. The show is too wholesome nowadays
