my previous post aside there were some nice episodes tonight. i really enjoyed how they did something with rolf's bizarre culture, and the first grim episode had an interesting atmosphere to it, scared mandy and the lingering shots were fun. even with the repeats i enjoy this block because i havent seen many of these episodes in a long time. for the most part it makes for a good couple hours to take my mind off things, sort of what the commercial says about before things were shit.

The only show I can think of I'd like to see on TV more would be 2003 Teen Titans, but I'd prefer if that was just aired earlier in the day before Checkered Past. Either before or after What's New Scooby Doo, then it's like a loose 1 hour extension of the block without actually affecting the block with something that's already had occasional airings on daytime CN in the past couple years.

As I get older I question the decision of having a character like Peggy in a show like KoTH that has such traditional values. You have these funny southerners that are written from the heart and then you have Peggy saying shit like "God came to me in a dream and told me to do something, but I knew better!" straight to Hank's face and that's apparently not an issue to him. She's such a damn outlier. I think that's what bothers me the most about her, not that she's pretentious and unfunny, but because she feels so out of place and is rarely noted for it.
Finally bothered to listen to the end of that Bob's promo. Every time it'd come on I'd slightly be listening and hear "israeli Bob's Burgers" and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't figure out what word they would've actually have been saying.
