After the horror that was Yoga Hosers, I have no faith left.
Le quirky comic book big-shorts man!
He wouldn't dare doing it to us. Not after Top Gun: Maverick.
probably. how bad was the new jay and silent bob movie? i couldn't even bother watching that after seeing the trailer
really bad!
Honestly he should just make a film about a stoned crying man that has a heart attack and no Oscars.
That dies horrible death in the end and gets shit and pissed on by stray animals and bums.
trailer looks fun
> muh 50 year old middle-life crisis cash-grab meme
I can't believe so many adults aren't aware they're manipulated by this
Just grow the frick up you old fricks and either watch more mature stuff or be aware when you watch immature stuff instead of wanting to see old farts pretending to be children.
There are a lot of Gen Xers out there that still live like it's the 90s. They have smartphones and everything else, but they're incapable of pirating or thinking past waiting in line for capeshit.
We still bone like we’re cheating on each other WITH each other.
it looks just interesting enough to be a dumpster fire
nobody cares when he releases bad movies like that Jay and Silent Bob reboot
Really wish he made Clerks III immediately after II, now it's just too late and he's too far gone.
Why does he look like an anthropomorphic radish?
Clerks 3 will p0wn my clit brown/taint area.
It doesn't matter. To Smith, it's already a success that it got made, just like every one of his movies.
he hasn't made anything that wasn't embarrasing in like 15 years, even his podcasts have gone to shit, of course it will be shit
last good one was the one with the walrus.has it been 15 years already?
tusk was pretty embarrassing tbh
i liked it.
I would assume so, yes.
Why was director Kevin Smith crying in those selfies?
it's usually because something sad happened in a cw superhero show
not a joke
He gets high and watches mid programming that gets him emotional
Why does he do this?
you answered your own question anon bottom right panel
>toy story 4
What
3 master race reporting in
We know what you did
Low test
There is something very wrong with this man. There isn’t even a 1% chance that anything he makes will be remotely good.
I liked Dogma. Never watched any of his other shit. His daughter also looks like a foot.
I haven't watch the first two. Are they any good Cinemaphile should I give them a go?
First one is great, especially if you lived through the 90's and can relate. 2nd one is a lot weaker but still worth a watch. This 3rd one will undoubtedly be an abomination because Kevin Smith lost his mind years ago.
At least watch the first so you get the jokes
sauce?
It's actually very rare to listen to a Fatman Beyond podcast where he DOESN'T cries or gets emotional.
What kind of 50 year old man is like this?
Just saw dogma last night and it had some great bits.
>Conair? More like Conshit!
Also wtf did Rufus say when he wakes up in the train cabin before finding Bethany and Loki? It’s at 1:09:50
There was a Clerks II??
Yeah. There weren't any clerks in it though.
I actually quite liked clerks 2. It felt sincere and was a good ending to the series. After seeing the trailer for clerks 3 it seems way too meta and self aware.
Did they shoop her face to look like sandy bullock?
put a pill in a mcflurry, i'm goofy
shoot me, acting for the cameras, it's a movie
i can see you're gloomy, 'cause i'm too t'd
i'm a dog on the roof like snoopy
sue me, hate me 'cause you're not me
i'm a white boy, 30 in my khakis
in the uber and i sleep, frick a car key
love the smell of gasoline, bleach and sharpies
i was on miami beach on a dark street
i wake up with sweaty sheets, sometimes it's deep
i'ma smoke a pound of weed if i can't sleep
if you can't sleep, you should call me
in all the history of cinema there are only 3 movies that were better than the first 2 in their series. Those are Return of the King, Back to the Future 3 and Toy Story 3. I don't see Clerks 3 joining that company
>Back to the Future 3
o_O
1 is very very good but it doesn't feel like a complete story, all the characters are fairly 2-dimensional except for Marty and his (young) parents. Even Doc is barely anything more than a plot device, especially 1985!Doc.
2 is trash, in part because it carries over mistakes from the first movie. Because of the huge setup at the end of what was going to be a standalone movie, they were forced to pick up right where the first movie left off and to shelve the hero's love interest for the whole movie. It obviously didn't age well, as do all old media that tries to portray the near-future, and it also features huge, gaping plot holes, even by the standards of time travel stories.
>2 is trash
Opinion discarded, concession accepted.
>no argument nor counter-argument
>Those are Return of the King
unwatchable
Post the tweet
Shit or no shit I’ll still watch it. It’s one of those movies I have to see no matter what
thanks for contributing to the death of a formerly glorious art form, you fricking moron
At least be a decent human being and pirate the motherfricker.
Why did Clerks need a third movie? 2 was a good ending to the series. Kevin Smith went down after that heart attack.
I tuned out Kevin Smith around 2007-2008 when he suddenly became a massive stoner during his mid-life crisis. His content got really boring and it only got worse from there: talentless daughter getting cast nepotistically, low-effort shit-tier direct-to-streaming movies, cucky political pandering, etc.
So I of course thought the Clerks III trailer would look absolutely terrible, but I was… pleasantly surprised I guess. If you’re going to make an unnecessary sequel to an unnecessary sequel to Clerks, this is a clever way to do it. It also looks like a personal project: Smith’s heart attack and his experience making Clerks are being channeled into Randal’s character in a meta way.
The movie’s success will depend—as with all comedies—on the strength of the jokes, but the concept was way less cringe than I expected.
Kevin Smith was relevant in the late Clinton era as an edgelord (but not TOO edgy!) who could mock meme liberals and meme conservatives alike.
Everything in America went to hell after 9/11.
