Clock King’s sexuality has never an important aspect of the character so he can be gay, bi, straight, asexual, who cares. There’s also multiple different Clock Kings.

That was before he was gay in a throwaway gag in a parody cartoon. Now making him straight again will be straightwashing.

It's kind of crazy how cartoon writers can just do what ever random bullshit they want with the characters and then comic writers just kowtow and go along with the changes. Without context you'd think the animated media was the source material and the comics were supplementary.

It is sad that it is probably the case.

        Who cares?

Has he ever even had a heterosexual relationship in the comics?

His most notable relationship to female character was wanting revenge on Green Arrow for killing his mentally moronic sister.

Frick, I don't even think he's ever displayed much of a personality, even when he was in the Justice League of Antarctica.

Also, his date is the Riddler. You expect me to believe you honestly care more about a C-list Green Arrow villain than an A-list Batman one?

You people are as moronic as his dead sister was.

Why the frick do you care? Do you even know Clock King's civilian identity without looking it up? What's his real fricking name?

Has he ever had a homosexual relationship or shown an attraction to guys?

Would a comic showing homosexuality in the last 5 years assuage you or would you just complain more?

The one with the Clock for a head has always been the gag one, the only one people actually care about is Temple Fugate, the modern Clock King.

The point is that he’s ruined as an unfunny gay character.

Harley Quinn's heterosexual relationship with the Joker was an important aspect of the character yet here we are

Is that true for anything other than the DCAU?

Well it's not like the comics have actually been any good for some time now, so the fact they take ideas and concepts from media that's better than them should mostly be a net positive. Unfortunately, most of the adaptations they lift from and synergize with tend to also be horrible, creating a feedback loop as terrible comics take ideas from terrible shows and movies, leading to future projects adapting the warped ideas from those terrible comics and making terrible shows and movies out of them.

I know, we’re living on a clown world where media influences one another and when writers see something they like, they start using the idea! What’s next, Mr. Zero stops being a fricking joke?!

It's like Pibby in real life, but the corruption is rainbow colored.
