No you don't, this entire general was built on catering to pedophiles and you let them fester until they became such a problem you can't get rid of them if you wanted to

Why would you admit that, you're fricking moronic. It all makes sense now, of course you're one of those nuts. I bet you think vaccines give you autism. Not that it would have any effect on you.
see i can never tell if when you lot say "pedophile" you mean "person who actually wants to diddle little kids" or "someone whos attracted to a cartoon cutout"

Actual “pedos” here don’t care about being called pedos and will often take pride in it to annoy people who hate them. So there’d be a few threads of us telling them to frick off and then they just wouldn’t. Maybe they’d even post more frequently out of spite like the brapposter did. If it doesn’t work when you do it I don’t see how you expect it to work if we did it.
Also don’t bother replying if you are just gonna say the same shot you always say, as I’m not gonna argue this beyond one post.
there's nothing wrong with being a pedophile as long as you like girls.
and they've started blossoming.
and as long as you don't act on it, which is bad no matter what you're into.
>people were divisive on how bad it was
I just watched it before I got here and what's divisive about it? It felt like a setup for something, there wasn't really any humor aside from bringing Pipi of Pipi's Splashtown back from fifteen years ago to be the villain .
Butter's rant was timely and accurate but we didn't need a half an hour of making boats to get there. Cartman's breast implants are so big they cover most of his torso and legs, so it's more absurd than shocking.
it'a divisive in that some people think it is the worst thing ever and people who like it have shit taste and other people think it is just alright and that the first people are overreacting to their detriment.
I never said most. In these threads there was a handful of people arguing in circles about it, no significant indication of there being more or less people on either side because we are all anonymous.

thats my observation tho, most people really do hate it than those we think its ok
point being-no one likes it. no one rewatched it. no one said it was downright good or enjoyable
Adding to my own post: The Randy-Karen thing also felt like it was building to something. Like people were going to record him having a meltdown or something funny, but it never happened. They just kept calling him Karen for twenty minutes with no payoff. That special should have been cut to a 23-minute episode and I then don't think people would have hated it so much.
The payoff was him calling himself Karen after denying it throughout the episode. It started with him not knowing why people are calling him Karen, then he learned it off Shelly and went to getting angry at people claiming to know what they mean by it now, and then the third stage was him going "full karen" at the rich guys house where he even called himself Karen.
if youve seen any 2-parter youll know that part 1 always 'feels' like its building up to several things, thats because Trey likes to pull an Andrew Hussie move and build stuff up hoping he will get back to it eventually, but since they write every part only after the previous one came out, and dont actually have plans for those setups, they feel empty. thats just one of the few things that contributes to recent episodes feeling so short, nothing is planned. sometimes i doubt they even have more than one or two drafts.
It's up for me. Tbf I'm the creator, but it's up. And I made a thread suggestion thing until the anonymous topic posting is fixed so you can suggest topics and I'll make em for you to reply to.
Morning friend! Good pic, uh context on the filename? Is he farting on an old man?
thank you friend
how is your beautiful wife doing? still misbehaving?
i forgot to say good evening to my cutest little boyhusband who keeps me in check in these hard times
Trey and misbehavior go together like bread and butter, I could power a small town with the cheeky spankings he'd get every day.
It's good to see your husbando is helping you through the tough times friend, I knew he could do it. He's berating you with tsundere love!
I like pouty tsunderes, maybe there's a more accurate term for them. But when they puff up all in indignantly and cross their arms and sulk and pout and call you an idiot that's the good shit. The payoff is giving them affection that they can't resist once they're sulking.
Nathan certainly has a way of making that kinda behavior appealing doesnt he
i wouldnt mind if he slapped me around and teased me and bullied me
in fact hes cutest when he does, esp if i then get to squeeze him and make him all flustered
Mrs Cartman accidentally bumping into Stan right in the face with her ass when bending down to pick something up and then she's like "Ooh sorry about that hon" and starts giggling while Stan looks half-annoyed and half-traumatized.
CATG during a main-tgemed episode of your choice. Like for example, what they were doing from their point of view in the SP is Gay episode, Quest for Ratings, Etc.
sure there's a message about how streaming sucks and theyre upset about making the deal
and an even weaker message about uhhh
.. something regarding climate change? its less of a message and more of a "hey, this is a thing! that people care about!.... whatever...."
Am I the only one who finds the "I'm glad Liane is standing up for herself" comments incredibly annoying? It's just that they give off those "YASSS GOOO QUEEN" vibes I get from dumb twittards.
i find them annoying too because it's just another clear sign of taking this show too seriously that fandoms tend to do. That said, I do like Liane standing up for herself and hope her character goes somewhere
i dont see em in that way, maybe because the show itself doesnt feel like thats its intent
but i do find them dumb because theyre treating an active downgrade of a character in terms of entertainment value and interest, as if she was a real person. "character development" doesnt always have to be positive, and not every change in what could be considered a better person irl, neccesarily makes for character development
Is Cartman the only butthole in SP these days? For every other character, from Liane to Stan and Kyle, they try to make them seem like despite all their flaws, they're still good people with a heart these days, whereas in the older seasons, it was clear that everyone in the town was f-ed up in their own way. Heck I don't even remember the last time Mrs Cartman was portrayed as her og implicitly bigoted crack prostitute self.
>Modern Matt and Trey: Ackchyually kids are good. Only fat kids is le bad. Green hat kid and blue hat kid goody two shoes. >90s Matt and Trey: pic related and we're gonna make our opinions on kids apparent with all 4 of our protagonists.
God they were so based with that. Kids are always raging bastards. I was one too, so we're my siblings, kids are just always shit until they learn otherwise. Though maybe that's why things changed. Much like how kids grow up in real life, South park couldn't stay the bratty little child it was forever. Unfortunately..
It mostly doesn't make sense, since when does someone stand up to... their child? I'm glad she's trying to be a proper parent now, but let's not act like she's getting owed respect or defeating some big bad when he's the way he is because of her in the first place. It is her fault he's like this, it's about time she did something about it.
Wanna know how to tell a normal fan and a SP characters obsessed twitter troony apart? >Normal: Address the adults as Mrs Cartman, Mrs Broflovski or Cartman's mom or Kyle's mom >Twitter: Addresses the adults using their first names like Liane Sheila, Carol, Laura etc.
>Normal: Laughs when Cartman gets his comeuppance, laughs when he somehow manages to get away scot-free and then moves on with their day, cuz he's a fictional character and isn't worth getting worked up over. >Twitter: Writes an essay about how happy they are when they saw that Cartman got his comeuppance and how literally everything he has done connects to his narcissism, ego etc and get butthurt to hell when he gets away with what he pulled, enough to write another essay about it.
ffs what is it with this one moron and trannies? at the start of these threads we purposefully didnt use the word to avoid this sorta homosexualry, and lo and behold, this is what it brings
frick off mate
Guy who's marathoning through 15 years worth of missed episodes again. Gonna just start making these posts from episode to episode rather than doing it in those giant posts since I'm not exactly marathoning. More like watching it in chunks except when I don't. Also because the threads keep getting deleted. >About Last Night
Maybe it's just the last six years of my time on the internet speaking, but holy shit am I sick and fricking tired of presidential politics and less than four minutes into the episode, I'm already annoyed by this episode. And last episode burning me out on Randy didn't help much either. And now I fricking love this episode. It was absolutely carried by the heist plot but holy shit was that fun. Also always nice to see when Kyle is legitimately concerned for Ike, it was great in Canada on Strike and it was great here. Great episode, loved it
Honestly I was mostly just worried the whole episode was going to be about election drama and was really happy when they immediately subverted that and made it a heist movie.
But I'm sure that era is going to be insufferable based on what I've heard about it.
Was gone for a few days since my period hit me like a sack of bricks, looks like I didn't miss much though.
I sometimes wonder if they got the joke about Ike's "suicide" from the first episode of Gravitation, I looked it up and the anime used it first. Not that it would be on purpose, just a silly subconscious thing where they forgot the original like Simpsons, that Inception parody, or even their past episodes sometimes.
>Elementary School Musical
Honestly wasn't a fan of this episode. The flamboyant slappy dad was funny exactly once and every time after that, the joke felt dragged out. While I usually like musical episodes of shows, and songs in south park episodes, none of the songs really appealed to me at all. But, to be fair, I think the songs being awful was kind of the point. I'll admit the choreography on the boys' dance at the end of the episode was fricking great though. Eh episode. Not bad but certainly wasn't my cup of tea.
>The Ungroundable
Fun Butters episode. I don't know if the episodes I've watched so far are marking a shift in Butters' character, or if I just remembered his character wrong, but he's seems to have these moments where the smallest amount of power immediately goes to his head and how often he digs his heels in on things. I don't remember him being like this and it really makes me like his character more. The goth plot really didn't do anything for me though. They were just never all that funny to me when I was younger and that hasn't really changed now. Alright episode.
And that's season 12 out of the way. I'm not going to rank every episode individually, but: >Best Season 12 Episodes
Over Logging, Super Fun Time, Canada On Strike >Worst Season 12 Episodes
Elementary School Musical, The Ungroundable
The rest of the episodes were at least good. Kind of closed on a low note, but overall a good season to return to the show with after all this time. One and a third of a season down, 11 to go.
Alright, starting off season 13 >The Ring
Great episode. Hilarious. And a great reminder of why Kenny has always been my favorite character. Which may make me slightly biased on this one. Lots of genuine laughs but also a good plotline. Mickey was a great villain. Also one of the funniest Kenny deaths I think I've ever seen. I don't really have anything more insightful to say about this episode, it was just a really funny and a good episode. Good start to the season.
>The Coon
Maybe I was spoiled by Fractured But Whole, but honestly this episode was a little underwhelming. It wasn't bad by any extent, but I guess I expected more. Decent Cartman being Cartman episode, but otherwise not remarkable. Honestly Butters was my favorite part of the episode, but I like Professor Chaos episodes so that's mostly bias talking. Alright episode.
>Margaritaville
Oh hey it's a meme episode. But also, I wasn't really into the episode until I got the joke, which I'm ashamed to admit took a lot longer than it should. But after that, the episode went from decent to really good and really funny. Randy also wasn't entirely insufferable this episode so at least to me that's a bit of a return to form. Good episode.
>It was absolutely carried by the heist plot but holy shit was that fun.
I enjoyed that together with stuff like the Inception episode and the Pioneer Village.
I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing that I end up enjoying entertaining plots without caring about the political/societal/message/adult stuff rather than a well written adult show like Dilbert criticizing the workspace in a satirical manner with the help of a very down to earth straightman rather than 4 cunning buttholes. I tried watching Dilbert but it's an on and off kinda thing where I have to be in the mood for it, just like Peanuts with its depression.
At the same time South Park is still a level above stuff like Camp WWE, Brickleberry, Family Guy and Code Monkeys which are just shit & fart israelite tier, especially the last one.
South Park before S17 is more creative and witty like Futurama, Simpsons. It's like I'm getting almost the same enjoyment I get from Duck Dodgers and Dan Vs. those two are some great comedy shows.
I love seeing peoples first impressions of episodes. Please keep doing these. If the threads get deleted you can move to the comfy website. I really like reading your reviews.
he's still a bully, he just knows he can get away with it he's doing it to Cartman, and the moralgayging is just so he can fuel his ego
>Kyle bullies Cartman >Cartman resents Kyle and soon projects that resentment to all israeli people >Kyle grows up a bit and develops (sort of) a conscience >Cartman’s hateboner is already cemented
Of course this will never be actual canon but this is how a lot of racists/sexists/etc. develop. They have a bad experience with a member of a minority group and associate those negative thoughts with the minority.
Reminder that out of the main 4 only Stan and Kenny are redeemable and socially acceptable in any way.
Twittergays and tumblrinas attempt to claim Kyle as their own because they see themselves as cute people who get rightfully offended and angry when Chudman does a Bad, so never trust anyone who says Kyle is their favorite South Park character.
I like Kyle because he’s a shithead. Also, my old oneitis was a prudish wannabe moralgay b***h with anger issues and red hair so I’m biased. He’s definitely not my favorite though
i love that flaw of him because it's very relatable and three-dimensional; stan's used to doing what he thinks is right and getting a negative or no reaction to it, but when he gets a positive reaction he kinda gives in to it since it's usually showering him with a lot of praise
the important thing to remember is that stan definitely makes it up to people he thinks he's wronged
While I agree that israelites are indeed evil it is not all the israelite gold carrying israelites fault part of the blame is on the drunk goy aka Stan. Kenny did very little/nothing wrong though
god i hated post covid's time travel bullshit in general, no matter how depressed he got stan would never willingly ruin someone's entire life like that
trey forgot how to write his own self-insert

If you told Trey he had to go back in time and kill Matt in order to protect his wife’s sons future he’d totally do it or if he woke up drunk alone and a blogger his old israeli friend calls him and starts babbling about time machines and fricking everyone else over they would be totally down. Maybe not 20 year old Trey when South Park was young but time changes us all live long enough become the villain etc
Why does Kyle have so many fangirls anyway? In Kenny and Craig's cases I can fully see their appeal, but what do girls like about some cranky hypocrite israelite b***h boy?
I can’t speak for western girls but I remember a Japanese artist saying that Kyle was popular with Nip fujos because red hair is “exotic” and he is the only ginger boy in the main cast.
Would love to know a bit more about what japanese fandom think of regarding various things such as the characters, current state of the show, favorite episodes etc
Most of what I remember about the Japanese fandom was from when I was 12 which was over 15 years ago. The show stopped airing Japan a long time ago so while there are still some dedicated fanartists it's not nearly as big as it used to be.
Outside of Disney shit, South Park used to be probably the most beloved western animation in Japan not just with fujos but with people in general because the Japanese LOVE poop humor.

Also Nips are the main offenders at making Kyle have wavy/straight hair instead of israelitefro. Most western artists tend to be at least a little better about it.
Stan burned down the farm and ruined Cartmans life all so he could be a government goy and frick Wendy once a year. Frick Stan alchie piece of shit who just want to play board games coom and b***h about his dad. He’s like if gen X were a single child
KEK Kyle manipulated Stan into doing that time travel shit because he knew Stan still wanted to frick him
israelites play with people’s emotions just like women
While I agree that israelites are indeed evil it is not all the israelite gold carrying israelites fault part of the blame is on the drunk goy aka Stan. Kenny did very little/nothing wrong though
My prediction is Matt you need to stop coming here to steal ideas and do your job old man. You want ideas from these idiots pay them if not we’re just gonna keep giving your horrible gay homosexual ideas that you WILL steal cause you are a creatively bankrupt cüćk with a black son who wants to play in Spanish chuckcheese all day no wonder every woman you’ve been with has fricked other men you are a piggy bank that plays with cardboard all day and cross dresses. My ideas are that it will fricking suck Cartmans mom marrys a new fella named chuck. Chuck and Randy become best friends and the episode ends with I now pronounce you Chuck and Randy as they tongue kiss inbetween the flaps of a cheeseburger patty
Max has three avatars:
Toilet paper kid, signifying his intelligence
Ambiguous gender background skirt kid, signifying his constant unknowable nature
And max goof, signifying his clownish behavior
Gee I didn’t know Trey Parker likes dressing up as Disney characters does he do the voice while he fricks his adoptive son? No wonder he hates him so much I’d be pissed too if my “Dad” was a homosexual in a dress who thought he was Goofys son. Hollyweird
I swear, I have never met a person that didn't think Trey was queer, at this point he might have to come out as straight if he doesn't want people to think that.
at the end cartman keeps the huge honking breasts. matt and trey get applauded by the lgbt community but jokes on them matt and trey just thought it was funny as frick and wanted to continue the joke for a while
I remember reading a live reaction of Japanese fan reactions to the episode but it was all from male Japanese fans not fujos. I remember one of them asking if Tweek was going "Yanderehomo" or crazy homosexual when Craig was fake breaking up with him.
>I remember one of them asking if Tweek was going "Yanderehomo" or crazy homosexual when Craig was fake breaking up with him.
Kek
Honestly I'm surprised how underexplored yandere Tweek as a concept is within the fandom given his behavior towards Craig
If my OTP was canon then I'd always have to worry about them breaking up or something. Plus, this leaves more room for the imagination.
I also ship Creek, their relationship is adorable. But with Bunny I prefer them sorta dancing around a mutual crush like the dumb kids they are, maybe dating some other people, and then getting together when they're older
NO! ITS NOT! CANT YOU SEE? Its a fake photo! See, that's how people like Vinnie Vincent destroy the self-image of little boys everywhere. The problem with having fake pictures of yourself is that you start to believe in your own bullshit! This has gone way too far!

Gingers are a noble and proud race that must be protected. Their DNA is secretly superior and they are our way to becoming everlasting magical elves who live for tens of thousands of years.
I bet you're a dude, you bawd. What's your size? is it true all gingers are growers?
>Top tastiest things in cartoons which actually taste horrible in real life.
Who here didn't try to eat a ginger to see if he tastes like strawberry and honey?
>Keep ginger population low >Tell everyone gingers are genetically inferior >Secretly breed with them.
OF COURSE, OF COURSE.
normally I'd think its regular ol daft Netflix behavior, but if we were back in the good era of SP I'd assume it was an intentional gag
too funny for modern SP tho
That would actually be hilarious if it was self aware and they made jokes about it. A plot about Netflix directors trying to turn all redheads into black people.
How did Timmy react to his best friend Jimmy actively bullying his own kind? Also how does Timmy feel about it, being born with a horrible genetic deformity AND being crippled on top of it.
Eric invited to his house: >Kyle, Kenny, Stan and Butters (obvious) >Jimmy (bffs) >Token, Craig and Clyde (not Tweek tho, btfo methhead) >Timmy (for some reason) >Dogpoo???
>Tweek... not Tweek, I don't want Craig and him fricking in my god damn household. And I need Craig cause he has like, authentic Hispanic dna in his bloodline or whatever so it'll be more immersive. >frickin tweaker would snort all my coke before I even get to plant it on wayward wall-hoppers so I can arrest them for drug-charges. Eugh.
The only boys who could pass as chads are Craig, Jimmy and Kenny but none of them are in reality as Craig can be a passive autist with some nerdy traits, Jimmy is a pussy-whiped autist and Kenny is a white trash who would do literally anything for money
Besides his one time girlfriend and that ugly fat prostitute what other b***hes did he get? Red and that girl he had a date with in the boner episode were both turned off by his autistic bluntness.
Shut up, Craig. Your teeth are crooked, your hair is black like your heart and you're INTJ as opposed to Stan's INTP.
You think you look like Bruce Wayne, Craig, but you don't, you poorgay... your eyes are black like your soul, Craig. You know what else Craig? Bruce Wayne ended up a wrinkly old man living by himself with only his dog as his company. That's you Craig, except without the good looks and money and the bat mobile and the cool butler. Frick you Craig I hated you in the 2parter and I hate you now 15 years later. My tastes didn't change.

yupp, sorry i got it right after posting the message. it took me 20 minutes to search for it all over tbharchive
Is the forum that aimoo site? because that is down for maintenance for me
Why do you post here instead of interacting on tumblr or twitter? I don’t mean this to sound accusatory just that those sites have more content and people to talk to.
also everyone here is pretty chill there is way too much infighting over dumb shit on those sites. If you don’t have the same headcanons or ships as someone there a lot of them take it as kind of personal offense
Are you even familiar with the tumblr/twitter fanbases? I would rather interact with weirdos that jerk off over old Trey and crippled kids than to interact with underage sensitive zoomers that have funny pronouns.
Tumblr >I keep saying Nazi stuff and getting banned, I have terminal gotta joke about edgy shit sickness.
Twitter >I really can't understand how to use it and it looks just as unable to take a joke anyhow
It was hard as frick but I made it
You have to create an account on the aimoo actual website not the forum, and check your spam email to activate the account
Did you know all 3 of Mao Mao's titular characters are amputees? Hehehe I totally did not just say that to attract someone specific in this thread to watch Mao Mao right now.
my prediction is I won't watch it. unless something massive changes, I think I'm done with South Park now
just got done rewatching Marjorine, did anyone ever notice this is ostensibly Heidi Turner's sleepover, her dad is there, etc.. yet there's a chart in the back labeled "Lola's Growth Chart" ? Did someone miscommunicate with the background artist or is she.. having her sleepover at Lola's place, and her parents are there too?
The thing is, Trey, that you use him too much. He is annoying because people never came to south park for the adults, they came for the kids. Any other adult animated show under the sun has the butthole weird dad trope, but the kids made south park special.
Used sparingly, Randy is fine, but you see, Trey, you just can't use him whenever you can't think of a story idea for the show. It's getting awfully noticeable. Overexposure often causes people to hate something that's being shoved down their throats, and Randy is no different.
I rewatched this recently. Gerald was the best part of this season and easily carried it. The main problem is that they placed their bets on Hillary winning so had written ahead with the assumption that she would. Since she didn't win they had to change their plans and quickly cobble together a new ending that tries to make sense of what they've established so far. It is why certain plot points just kind of get dropped, such as the Memberberries winning and then making ominous references to nazis only for them to be dropped from the show entirely. Or The boys and girls splitting and never actually being resolved on screen so everyone just silently returns to normal. As well as out of nowhere character twists like the troll trace guy revealing himself to have been a troll himself all along. All this shit contributes to the season feeling unsatisfying for many people, but not in an obnoxious way like the tegridy stuff was. Just sorta, confused and disappointed. So people forget about it.
I hate that everyone lumps all the adult characters together just because Randy is overused. Fans seem to think the older characters are bad and the problem of why the show sucks now.
Imagine hearing about all the kids suck because Cartman has the most plots.
Hey Matt & Trey... frick you.
Why are you both such lazy pieces of shits? With your hundreds of millions and the abysmally low budget required for South Park you could churn out episodes the way animes like Pokemon and Naruto churns them out without any of western's bullshit 6-9 month hiatuses or Disney's 2-3 year hiatuses.
Oh c'mon miss Cartman is a great mother. Just ignore that 1 time she dressed up Cartman and made him dance on the table(off screen) or that time she wanted him out of the house to screw with someone.
You mean kyman but if Kyle had all the power in the dynamic and could pressure Cartman into sweet doubtfully consensual sex... wait that's just regular kyman
Kyle doesn’t have all the power though. They’re evenly balanced.
Yeah Wendy beating up Cartman and outsmarting Cartman is complete bullshit. Kyle is infinitely smarter than her french beret wearing ass. If anything Kyle and Wendy should have a competition where Kyle curbstomps her ass.
Wendy has a vegana though and in tvland having a vegana gives you plot powers.
Anonymous
I want Sheila raping Cartman as much as the next person but how would it play with kyman as endgame? Let's talk about it.
So basically it's kinda like Kyle+Wendy+Cartman against Cartman.
Sheila is a big fat nagging b***h that gets what she wants like Cartman and Garrison but is a moralgay like Kyle. She has way more power than Kyle and Wendy combined and thus together could both accomplish great things and give Cartman a real challenge instead of having to give Kyle shit ton of Deus ex machinas and to make Wendy smarter and stronger than Kyle without any realism.
Yeah Wendy beating up Cartman and outsmarting Cartman is complete bullshit. Kyle is infinitely smarter than her french beret wearing ass. If anything Kyle and Wendy should have a competition where Kyle curbstomps her ass.
I'd go back and edit the scenes to contain as much girl nudity as boy nudity and as many "What are you gay?" jokes as possible when someone complains about the girl nudity.
idk i was joking, i just found it amusing to find a ship name so low in the picture but, if i project a little about it, considering that the person who did this image added a bunch of old shitposts and theories and nothing about new fandom crap, he probably got so offended by kyman existing that he had to add it in the "beyond saving" section.
the other shipping reference, if i didn't miss anything, is just "shippers planted by family guy stuff to make it look cringe" (kek).
this person probably hates all the shipping stuff, since he says it's for pedos, but kyman stuff has a lot of theories and discussions around normal fans, like cartman is gay etc, so my guess is that this stuff went outside the shipping circle and poor op found about it
Ok I know pretty much all of these but I wanna ask about a few of them because I don't think I've heard about them
>"cloestgate"? >german season 1-4 instrumental >quintuplets 2000 last minute change >million little fibers last minute change >why Trey and Matt are scared of flying >purchasable "a million little fibers" (?)
>quintuplets 2000 last minute change
Originally, the plot of that episode involved returning the quintuplets and Kenny to their respective countries, but shortly after Elian Gonzalez was taken from his Miami relatives' home the Saturday before Easter 2000, April 22, Parker and Stone quickly changed the plot so that it would look exactly like the Miami raid.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eli%C3%A1n_Gonz%C3%A1lez
Do we know how obscure the Elian Gonzalez Miami raid was at the time? It might have been all over the news back then for the people who watched the episode when it came out.
maybe obscure wasnt the right word
i moreso meant... "generic"
a raid is an event thats a lot more general and simple than whatever the president tweeted about yesterday, if you know what i'm saying

every time someone brings up something they dislike about the new show, someones gotta come in with "but they DID the thing before" or "heres an example not doing it today"
when we clearly talk about them having done it less or more elegantly, and now doing it more
2 years ago
Anonymous
Isnt them bringing up that they did the things you are complaining about before a valid criticism of that complaint? Maybe you just don't like the current stuff because you hate current events and were too young when old South Park spoofed the current events of the time to notice. You don't really argue against this, you just say >Oh well it isn't done as eloquently nowadays
without actually providing proof of this, outside of your personal tastes

but my complaint is that they did them better, and thus even when they did them it felt less annoying

They did it all the time and it was never more 'elegant' than now, what is this bullshit threshold?

how is >hey look this shot of Kenny is just like that image you are seeing in the news that is causing a lot of protest!
More elegant than >Hey look it's Randy doing that thing you saw in the news last week that caused controversy!

>thing that relates to the plot but also emulates current event in a way that isnt obvious until you know about it
vs >hey guys ever heard of THING? boy, that THING sure is A THING. this doesnt make sense or is funny if you dont understand the reference, its just a reference for the sake of reference

Here's an example: Manbearpig as global warming. Water droughts in Colorado is something that is happening, and is clearly something Matt and Trey care about since it affects the place they grew up. It is relevant to the plot of the episode, as it is what drives the characters to make their streaming services.
Manbearpig is a reference to global warming that isn't obvious at first until you know about it. He appears in the episode causing a bunch of trouble that contributes to the drought.
By comfy thread standards, this is elegant like how they used to do it because it is a >thing that relates to the plot but also emulates current event in a way that isnt obvious until you know about it
However Comfy thread will still complain about it and claim it is just >Hey look at THING isn't THING bad? don't you recognise THING?
Why could this be? Could it be because comfy thread has a Bias against new episodes? Could it be that comfy thread are climate change deniers so don't like things that infers it actually matters? What's the deal here?

There's literally a scene in one of those episodes where a guys is saying manbearpig isn't real while it's slaughtering people behind him, It couldn't be a more blatant reference to the modern political discourse around climate change if it tried

And there was literally a scene where they recreated a child being forcibly taken to be deported back to their country, it couldn't be a more blatant reference to the then current political discourse around illegal immigration if it tried.

But I'm Q2000, it's funny regardless of the reference, in the new manbearpig episodes, if you don't know anything about climate change or the discussion around it, you'll find yourself wondering why they're spending like a whole on this one gag multiple times

>in the new manbearpig episodes, if you don't know anything about climate change or the discussion around it, you'll find yourself wondering why they're spending like a whole on this one gag multiple times
He says, even though earlier in the thread it was established that people found the original manbearpig episodes funny even though they didn't get the references. Who is to say less cynical people wouldn't find an absurd situation like someone denying a monster exists when it is right there killing people around them? Isn't that the kind of wacky absurd comedy South Park is known for?

>people dont get the reference and dont find it funny? but you said that they found the FIRST episode funny despite not getting the reference!
yes, thats because it was funny beyond being a reference
you keep trying to use some kinda autistic machine-logic to make connections like "manbearpig in episode X funny? b-but manbearpig in episode Y.... NOT FUNNY? DOES NOT COMPUTE!"
they were handled differently and that seems to be the thing most people itt are trying to establish- something is lacking nowadays
another thing were trying to deliver is why so many people think the old episode was funnier than the new one- were not arguing IF it was, or at least we should be arguing about this, because we could go "yes" "no" "yes!" "no!" all day. were trying to explain WHY people like one better than the other
why dont you tell us why you think manbearpig

[...] >why dont you tell us why you think manbearpig is funnier now than it was before**
I don't think he is "funnier" than he was before, nor do I think he is less funny. I can watch both the original Manbearpig and enjoy it for Al Gore's absurd character, and I could watch the newer episodes for both that absurd character as well as the amusing reactions Manbearpig was getting out of the characters in the show, like the man at the restaurant who kept denying it even when Manbearpig was about to kill him. It's silly, it's absurd, it's funny. Simple as. You can ask the same for anything from the show that you find funny. And the general audience doesn't hate manbearpig, hell I don't even think most people in this thread even do its just certain people with personal biases against him. So if the majority of people who watch the show don't hate manbearpig, is he really that bad? Is it maybe just your personal, not at all objective opinion that he's bad? Which is fine by the way, I am not saying you have to find him funny, just don't act like your word is law when it comes to what is and isn't funny because that's not going to hold up to scrutiny.
If you want to know what South Park's current problem likely is, it's a combination of fatigue over current politics, Serialisation poisoning specific characters (Randy for the most part) and the general decay that everything goes under after airing for so many years. You watch an early episode of the simpsons, they could cram so many funny jokes into that show in such a short time. But current simpsons people say is a snoozefest. Eventually, you are going to find yourself running out of jokes to make before you have to start repeating things, so more recent South Park episodes are more strained for comedy. There is ironically a comedy shortage for these kinds of shows. Especially with how fast people's comedic tastes change these days with the internet and meme culture. Those are your probable answer to the question you keep asking when there is comparison between new and old episodes

I want to elaborate on this a bit, The internet has helped weaponize everyone politically on a much more personal scale. This makes politics even more invasive of our lives than it was in the past, so we tend to get more and more tired of it and aren't as fond of seeing it in our media unless it comfortably matches up with what we already believe in. And this goes for everyone, the "normie" reddit fans as well as all you comfy thread goers. So, you are tired of seeing global warming shit because you personally don't care about it much. And maybe in the past you would have been able to let pro global warming stuff slide because it wasn't being pushed in your face as much, but now it is stuff like manbearpig is more frustrating than funny for you.
As for >Serialisation poisoning specific characters
After rewatching recent seasons I came to this conclusion, serialisation has always been a double edged sword for this show. They have dabbled with it in the past, like the season where Kenny died. But in those recent post season 17 seasons they went all in with it. And why this was bad is that it made certain characters become stuck in certain positions. Garrison had to keep being trump. Randy has to be Lorde for this season. Then Randy has to be a PC bro for this season. to then finally Randy is now an annoying Weed farmer. In the past Randy could be stupid for an episode and the next one everything is back to the status quo, but in current South Park it just doesn't stop. It just keeps piling up and up for these characters, and limits what they can do with them, gluing their storyline potential to a railroad. But people get tired of this, and "Garrison does trump thing" or "Randy does weed shit" becomes predictable, and loses that comedic unpredictability and absurdity.

The show is less funny than it was before, this I agree with but I don't believe it is necessarily because Matt and Trey were just "better at doing political stuff back then".
The best way to improve South Park in my opinion is hire new people to write for it. Matt and Trey are funny guys but there are only so many jokes you can squeeze out of them before you get situations where it feels like they just find one or two jokes and try to stretch it out for the episode. The high risk with this is that you'll end up with the new writers being shitty and the show plummets in quality.
Look at popular reddit show Rick and Morty, many fans enjoyed the first few seasons, but they ended up bringing on a bunch of new writers while old ones left, and now a bunch of people who were previously fans now dislike the show. Ideally Matt and Trey would commit the awful sin of nepotism and specifically hire people they consider to be the funniest and cleverest people they know. Because that way at least you know that the people they are hiring match their own tastes so it will likely keep that South Park feel, and (at least to Matt and Trey's standards) these people are funny enough to produce a new waves of jokes they are clever enough to give multiple layers to and work into an engaging plot. But will this happen? Probably not, it's more likely Matt and Trey ride this show until it gets cancelled.
This is actually good advice for anyone who wants to make their own comedy show: Keep in touch with all the funniest and smartest people you know as they are the ones you will want to get on your writing team.

Out of morbid curiosity I just want to see what new writers would even do with South Park
how quickly would it plummet to Zombiesons level of quality
2 years ago
Anonymous
See that's exactly the problem. It is high risk high reward. Matt and Trey are running dry comedically, so they need to stretch out the jokes they do have to fit a whole episode, and fill the rest in with simple visual gags they can make up along the way. I still enjoy Matt and Trey's humour, so the episodes for the most part aren't awful to me, but they are feeling more thin compared to older episodes. Either Matt and Trey continue like this, and episodes will continue to feel a bit disappointing (or awful for many thread regulars) or they take that plunge into the unknown of new writers.
I guess what we gotta ask ourselves, would you rather a slow death? or the chance at new life alongside the very probably chance of a quick death?

South Park having been written by the same two people for all its run is actually the one reason why I still somewhat like it, I can feel their creative vision even if it has shifted with the years. If they ever got new writers and took a backseat I'd just consider everything from that point forward not canon.

Ok Kyle, the world doesn't revolve around you, why does it matter what you think is canon or not lol

If I ever got put in charge of writing a show they'd either fire me on the spot or go with my bullshit because I wouldn't even bother trying to copy Trey's style. I would try to copy a much superior comedy show. Maybe even just go full character-driven action adventure.
Same "problem" Venture Bros and Moral Orel have.
I would especially get very autistic about the music. For fricks sake Trey of course you lost to Phil Collins that's like saying "Oh no my Kyle's Mom's a b***h lost to Tom Jones" no shit, Sherlock.

The issue with Rick and Morty isn't that they hired new writers, it's that they went out of their way to hire the least funny people on the planet (women), and the show itself turning it into a self insert reddit atheist power fantasy
2 years ago
Anonymous
well distilling that down to basics, they hired less funny writers then they had originally. They didn't hire based on how funny they were, just that they needed new writers. But funny and smart writers are obviously a scarcity, so not every show is going to be able to get them.

>why dont you tell us why you think manbearpig is funnier now than it was before**
>Do we know how obscure the Elian Gonzalez Miami raid was at the time?
It was massive headline news for weeks, there were a lot of protests and it's what fricked over Al Gore's vote in Florida
something like manbearpig inn the early seasons is funny because seeing this guy freak out over literally nothing is funny, regardless of whether you know who Al Gore is or not, compare that later seasons where the entire episode is just "WOW THIS HORRIBLE THING THAT'S KILLING EVERYONE RIGHT BEHIND ME TOTALLY ISN'T REAL MAN"
"MANBEARPIG IS KILLING US BECAUSE BOOMERS WANTED COOL STUFF, THEY TRADED OUR FUTURE FOR COOL STUFF!"
Who's the most overrated character? I know it's a popular opinion here but my vote goes for Randy, I never understood why normies are so obsessed with him and I didn't find his character that funny even during his so-called best episodes.
I like how there are two dead characters in the "underrated/underused" section and Heidi is considered overused despite having like 0 speaking roles before and after being Cartman's girlfriend
Yeah but during their relationship arc, she got too much focus, that's one of the main reasons why people are not that fond of heiman and seasons 20-21 in the first place.
Speaking of Quintuplets 2000, I had a mandela moment with it a while ago, I could have sworn there was an episode in like season 10-15 where the main plot was Kenny becoming an opera singer, but it's actually a season 4 episode and the oprah stuff was just a really minor b plot, I don't even remember the quintuplets at all
Yeah. I think it was a good idea making you an administrator even though neither of us know how it works completely, it's better to have two people making sure shit works than just me. Thanks for helping out btw.
If I were to write an SP episode it'd go something like this: >Cartman and his mom are sitting on the couch, lamenting their current living condition. >All of a sudden, a bright flash appears outside. >The Cartmans go outside and see a deity like figure descending down upon the land in front of them. >The deity strikes up a deal with Cartman; He could go back to his old house again, if he lets his mom fart on his face every week (Probably to make up for the fact that he's the reason they're living in a hot dog in the first place). >The Cartmans have a WTF reaction to this, but when the deity asks if Cartman would rather live in his hot dog stand again, he reluctantly agrees to go along with it. >The Cartmans are back in their old house, with the inclusion of Liane farting on Cartman's face every week. >Liane soon realizes that this is actually pretty cathartic for her considering the fact that he made her quit her job due to his own selfishness, and she starts eating fibre-rich food like apples to make her gas stinkier and starts skunking him without warning, just to make him suffer. >The episode ends with a defeated looking Cartman saying "Weak, but at least I don't live in hot dog anymore" and immediately after that, Liane sticks her ass out to fart on him again, while saying "surprise". >Cue outro
Perhaps, but I think I'd unironically rather watch an episode where the main focus is Liane farting than anything from season 20 and 21 (An entire season dedicated to "OOOH LOOK AT WHAT BAD ORANGE MAN TWEETED!!!" and that cringey Heman subplot)
>heman plot
Has the show ever spoofed he-man? I don’t think it has. I dunno what they’d do with it though, hopefully nothing about the political arguing with that new reboot
the most arguing about the reboot wasnt even political, its mostly culture vultures who frame it as 'political whining'- the biggest issue was that a show about he-man had little to do with he-man
but knowing M&T theyd likely to fall for the meme of it being political without even caring about the topic and make the whole episode another 'haha le fat neckbeard' joke

now kiss!
>Cousin Koyle, I deleted that thread again, when are they gonna give me a raise
Didn't watch Part I, just assumed it would be bad. Is it?
You will have to watch it to find out as people were divisive on how bad it was
But it probably won't be "good" like your favourite episodes are. Like
is what happened for part 1, so that's what to expect going into it.
>people were divisive on how bad it was
I just watched it before I got here and what's divisive about it? It felt like a setup for something, there wasn't really any humor aside from bringing Pipi of Pipi's Splashtown back from fifteen years ago to be the villain .
Butter's rant was timely and accurate but we didn't need a half an hour of making boats to get there. Cartman's breast implants are so big they cover most of his torso and legs, so it's more absurd than shocking.
it'a divisive in that some people think it is the worst thing ever and people who like it have shit taste and other people think it is just alright and that the first people are overreacting to their detriment.
>most people think its horrible
>others just think its alright
ken, thats the bar eh?
It started with him not knowing why people are calling him Karen, then he learned it off Shelly and went to getting angry at people claiming to know what they mean by it now, and then the third stage was him going "full karen" at the rich guys house where he even called himself Karen.
if youve seen any 2-parter youll know that part 1 always 'feels' like its building up to several things, thats because Trey likes to pull an Andrew Hussie move and build stuff up hoping he will get back to it eventually, but since they write every part only after the previous one came out, and dont actually have plans for those setups, they feel empty. thats just one of the few things that contributes to recent episodes feeling so short, nothing is planned. sometimes i doubt they even have more than one or two drafts.
yeah its pretty dog, one of the worst episodes in a while, even for post-season 20 south park
Haven’t watched South Park in over a decade. Was the goth group not a seasonal thing?

how is your beautiful wife doing? still misbehaving?
i forgot to say good evening to my cutest little boyhusband who keeps me in check in these hard times
Good morning! I missed your posts
Morning friend! Good pic, uh context on the filename? Is he farting on an old man?
Trey and misbehavior go together like bread and butter, I could power a small town with the cheeky spankings he'd get every day.
It's good to see your husbando is helping you through the tough times friend, I knew he could do it. He's berating you with tsundere love!
yknow i tend to dislike tsunderes, but the way he does it feels so cute and genuine i cant fault him for it
what a precious boy
I like pouty tsunderes, maybe there's a more accurate term for them. But when they puff up all in indignantly and cross their arms and sulk and pout and call you an idiot that's the good shit. The payoff is giving them affection that they can't resist once they're sulking.
Nathan certainly has a way of making that kinda behavior appealing doesnt he
i wouldnt mind if he slapped me around and teased me and bullied me
in fact hes cutest when he does, esp if i then get to squeeze him and make him all flustered
Wow we are having shit threads lately

Draw titty Cartman working at Raisins
And you too
I still don't understand what this episode meant. Every time I ask it gets derailed into /misc/ garbage.
it meant nothing, lets be honest
sure there's a message about how streaming sucks and theyre upset about making the deal
and an even weaker message about uhhh
.. something regarding climate change? its less of a message and more of a "hey, this is a thing! that people care about!.... whatever...."
but at the end of the day
its fodder
It's Trey seething because he's getting paid hundreds of dollars to shit out a couple of kids cursing, I don't understand him at all
I started watching South Park when I was 12 because I was trying to watch Family Guy illegally online and the link sent me to the wrong show.
no one asked
I did.
Am I the only one who finds the "I'm glad Liane is standing up for herself" comments incredibly annoying? It's just that they give off those "YASSS GOOO QUEEN" vibes I get from dumb twittards.
so don't read them you fricking moron
Unfollow the morons and you will never see them.
i find them annoying too because it's just another clear sign of taking this show too seriously that fandoms tend to do.
Heck I don't even remember the last time Mrs Cartman was portrayed as her og implicitly bigoted crack prostitute self.
yeah the show is made for simple people now so most characters have been stripped of any dimensionand retain only one or at most two traits
No, just the kids, which I think is a side-effect of having kids themselves. The adults are still buttholes, Randy even killed Winnie the Pooh
>Normal: Address the adults as Mrs Cartman, Mrs Broflovski or Cartman's mom or Kyle's mom
>Twitter: Addresses the adults using their first names like Liane Sheila, Carol, Laura etc.
The first greentext is so fricking dumb
And then there is me, constantly writing essays about how Cartman is gay
Cartman isn’t gay and I say this as a kymangay
But he is
Cartman’s sexuality can’t be describe by normal terms. It goes beyond that
Suck my balls (heterosexually, of course)
Cartman is a closeted gay or at the very least bi and I say this as someone who doesn't ship kyman
ffs what is it with this one moron and trannies? at the start of these threads we purposefully didnt use the word to avoid this sorta homosexualry, and lo and behold, this is what it brings
frick off mate
>ffs what is it with this one moron and trannies?
That’s all of Cinemaphile anon
Bring what? Actual discussion about the fandom instead of the trillionth thread about Muh Trey man boobies?
whining
>at the start of these threads we purposefully didnt use the word to avoid this sorta homosexualry
I have been saying troony and Black person this whole time
Ironically I’ve seen more than enough tumblrinas who go out of their way to defend Cartman despite being extremely SJW. It’s pretty entertaining
Because most of the homosexuals are on twitter now. Tumblr users tend to favor cartman
True except for the first part
I honestly feel like she’s going to be killed off soon. Not in this special but maybe next season or the next special.
Great episode, loved it
if you think the Obamer epispde was bad presidential politics, wait till you get to the orange man saga
I'm not going to rank every episode individually, but:
>Best Season 12 Episodes
Over Logging, Super Fun Time, Canada On Strike
>Worst Season 12 Episodes
Elementary School Musical, The Ungroundable
The rest of the episodes were at least good. Kind of closed on a low note, but overall a good season to return to the show with after all this time. One and a third of a season down, 11 to go.
Alright, starting off season 13
>The Ring
It's like I'm getting almost the same enjoyment I get from Duck Dodgers and Dan Vs. those two are some great comedy shows.
shut up max
Sure, sweetie. *smooches* Can't kiss you while I'm talking now, can I ?
I love seeing peoples first impressions of episodes. Please keep doing these. If the threads get deleted you can move to the comfy website. I really like reading your reviews.
test
Wait it's out already? I thought it came out in July.
this message pops out whenever I try to make an account
You can post anonymously now (I think.) Still sucks that you can't make an account though, I'll try asking about that
Do you think Kyle became a moralgay out of a guilt for how much he was a bully in the early show?
I wonder how those autists who cry about poor israeli boy Kyle being tormented by le big bad Cartman would ract if they saw Cow Days.
>Kyle bullies Cartman
>Cartman resents Kyle and soon projects that resentment to all israeli people
>Kyle grows up a bit and develops (sort of) a conscience
>Cartman’s hateboner is already cemented
Of course this will never be actual canon but this is how a lot of racists/sexists/etc. develop. They have a bad experience with a member of a minority group and associate those negative thoughts with the minority.
he's still a bully, he just knows he can get away with it he's doing it to Cartman, and the moralgayging is just so he can fuel his ego
>nooo kyle is an innocent israelite baby
>cartman is an angel did nothing wrong uwu
They’re both little buttholes.
He’s definitely not my favorite though
>never trust anyone who relates to Kyle*
its one thing to like him as a character, but if she sees him as "literally me", thats a bad sign
Good thing Kyle isn’t literally me Cartman is
Stan constantly takes advantage of the less fortunate to make himself look good
Name one time that happened and then explain how that makes him irredeemable
the bullying episode, the gluten episode, the scause episode, it's not that he's irredeemable, it just happens a lot
i love that flaw of him because it's very relatable and three-dimensional; stan's used to doing what he thinks is right and getting a negative or no reaction to it, but when he gets a positive reaction he kinda gives in to it since it's usually showering him with a lot of praise
the important thing to remember is that stan definitely makes it up to people he thinks he's wronged
god i hated post covid's time travel bullshit in general, no matter how depressed he got stan would never willingly ruin someone's entire life like that
trey forgot how to write his own self-insert
If you told Trey he had to go back in time and kill Matt in order to protect his wife’s sons future he’d totally do it or if he woke up drunk alone and a blogger his old israeli friend calls him and starts babbling about time machines and fricking everyone else over they would be totally down. Maybe not 20 year old Trey when South Park was young but time changes us all live long enough become the villain etc
Why does Kyle have so many fangirls anyway? In Kenny and Craig's cases I can fully see their appeal, but what do girls like about some cranky hypocrite israelite b***h boy?
Kyle’s incredibly feminine in his hypocrisy and holier than thou attitude, they see themselves in him
Kyle may be based off of Matt, but you can tell how much of himself Trey put into writing him, since Trey , too, is quite a feminine guy
I can’t speak for western girls but I remember a Japanese artist saying that Kyle was popular with Nip fujos because red hair is “exotic” and he is the only ginger boy in the main cast.
>red hair is exotic
It isn’t though.
its literally the rarest color in the world and the Japanese pretty much never have it
>its literally the rarest color in the world
No it’s not me and my cousin both have it
are you daft?
>me and my cousin both have it
rub dicks with your cousin or gtfo
Gingers are a delicacy for me.
Ironic as hell because they never actually draw his israelitefro.
Would love to know a bit more about what japanese fandom think of regarding various things such as the characters, current state of the show, favorite episodes etc
i feel like being Japanese makes it just a tad more bearable because you can ignore the politishit easier
Most of what I remember about the Japanese fandom was from when I was 12 which was over 15 years ago. The show stopped airing Japan a long time ago so while there are still some dedicated fanartists it's not nearly as big as it used to be.
Outside of Disney shit, South Park used to be probably the most beloved western animation in Japan not just with fujos but with people in general because the Japanese LOVE poop humor.
> because the Japanese LOVE poop humor.
Those dirty dirty dirty monkeys.
>GIVE THIS MONKEY HIS BANANA
The main four are called "the stupid four" and Butters (Batazu) is nicknamed Bakazu
thank you anon, feel free to share any other interesting info
Also Nips are the main offenders at making Kyle have wavy/straight hair instead of israelitefro. Most western artists tend to be at least a little better about it.
Tsundere
This is probably the right answer.
Chuck and Randy become best friends and the episode ends with I now pronounce you Chuck and Randy as they tongue kiss inbetween the flaps of a cheeseburger patty
>t.
Pete the power cuck actually. Frick off with your internet friend simulator. You’re too old to be watching Oney
Mmmm not bad, but it's missing a certain combination of naivety, intelligence, pretentiousness and genuineness...
Hollyweird
Max youre talking shit
There is no doubt in my mind Trey wrote this paragraph
*Trey.
Matt is too busy fricking his loving wife and living a fulfilling, non-closeted, honest life.
I swear, I have never met a person that didn't think Trey was queer, at this point he might have to come out as straight if he doesn't want people to think that.
Cartman will get his breasts removed and move back to the suburbs.
I don’t know who Max is
thats ok
at the end cartman keeps the huge honking breasts. matt and trey get applauded by the lgbt community but jokes on them matt and trey just thought it was funny as frick and wanted to continue the joke for a while
Season 13 was the best, get over it.
>There are gingers in this thread RIGHT NOW
its now possible for guests to make new threads on the comy forum!
http://comfysouthpark.aimoo.com/
>make your part 2 of Streaming Wars predictions now,
Cartman prostitutes himself out to make money, by letting older men titty frick him furiously.
I wonder if Kyle getting pregnant will actually happen
>I wonder if Kyle getting pregnant will actually happen
What. I haven't streaming wars so what
wow are m&t finally taking ideas from deviantart?
What did nips thought of Tweek x Craig? Are they happy that creek is canon?
I remember reading a live reaction of Japanese fan reactions to the episode but it was all from male Japanese fans not fujos. I remember one of them asking if Tweek was going "Yanderehomo" or crazy homosexual when Craig was fake breaking up with him.
>I remember one of them asking if Tweek was going "Yanderehomo" or crazy homosexual when Craig was fake breaking up with him.
Kek
Honestly I'm surprised how underexplored yandere Tweek as a concept is within the fandom given his behavior towards Craig
Non-Creek fujos how do you feel about the fact your ship isn't canon.
Good. Trey can't write romance to save his life.
what do you mean? they ARE canon
I don't want it to be canon I love the current state of it in the show just the way it is
If my OTP was canon then I'd always have to worry about them breaking up or something. Plus, this leaves more room for the imagination.
I also ship Creek, their relationship is adorable. But with Bunny I prefer them sorta dancing around a mutual crush like the dumb kids they are, maybe dating some other people, and then getting together when they're older
>ship kyman as kismesis
My OTP is canon anon
We get it. You can’t let go of the past and homestuck gave you Stockholm syndrome. No one wants to fricking talk about homestuck
A-Anons even if I'm a ginger I'm still the same person... I don't even have any freckles and it's more auburn than orange.
Hair strands or gtfo you ginger >:O
😀 All me.
>posting self on Cinemaphile
Frick no but this is close to it. More brown than red so I don't fully qualify as a ginger.
GINGE!
Anon I loved you.
I'm sorry anon....
I bet you're a dude, you bawd. What's your size? is it true all gingers are growers?
Damn Timmy you should let your hair grow long more often.
DAMN TIMMY LOOKS LIKE THAT?
NO! ITS NOT! CANT YOU SEE? Its a fake photo! See, that's how people like Vinnie Vincent destroy the self-image of little boys everywhere. The problem with having fake pictures of yourself is that you start to believe in your own bullshit! This has gone way too far!
Wendy is underrated.
i unironically wish they had adult Timmy be a cool rock star like he deserves
and also still crippled
cringe. just because you're a timmygay doesn't mean you have to make him a gary stu
>gary stu
1. cringe term, mary sue is gender neutral
2. timmy has always been ballin
3. frick you
why are all timmygays this defensive? I like timmy but you fricks can't handle that your dude isn't a 100% gigachad. Try watching the show for once.
1. yes he is
2. frick you
NTA but they're right, your biasness for the tard kids is annoying.
Is it chadder to be unintentionally chad or intentionally? Anyway.
Timmy and Jimmy will never be as intentionally chad as pic related. Do you have any idea who this motherfricker is, Nathanbro?
not sure but
i feel like hes in a wheelchair
Damn right he's in a wheelchair and smug about it too.

Who here didn't try to eat a ginger to see if he tastes like strawberry and honey?
show hair
Show your ginger pubes, homosexual.
I bet your nipples are Cheeto dust orange.
I'm part viking and I raided all of you Canadian-tier bawds.
Germany & Sweden should pay Ireland for reparations, not those dirty frogs and those israelites and their gypsy brethren.
Get out of this thread you repulsive mutant
Gingers are a noble and proud race that must be protected. Their DNA is secretly superior and they are our way to becoming everlasting magical elves who live for tens of thousands of years.
I want to lewd him. He's legal.
Do not lewd Santa's elves.
homie that is the ugliest fricking image I've ever seen in my life and you're actively hurting your argument by using it.
Anon ... close your eyes ... use the power of the dick! okay now what do you see?
When I close my eyes I see hot sweaty creek sex, personally.
but in all fairness that image is much better than the first one you posted.
>Keep ginger population low
>Tell everyone gingers are genetically inferior
>Secretly breed with them.
OF COURSE, OF COURSE.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/DpUdZ11p9EQ
I'm leaving now.
Staaann, don't leaveee Staaaaaannnnn, I wannnt you, Stanley Cup.
my boy may be a piece a shit at times, but he would never be a ja*nny
He would if it would benefit him and if Jimmy was the main poster in the comfy threads and he could ruin his day by deleting them.
>Jimmy is the thread mascot
>Nathan is butthurt
it all makes sense
What if Matt and Trey are the rogue jannies?
if Matt is a self hating israelite does that make Trey a self hating gay
Indeed
All gingers are born tsundere so it makes sense why so many people hate them if they aren't tsundere fetishists.
>Netflix makes a live action movie
>Kyle is black
How would you feel?
normally I'd think its regular ol daft Netflix behavior, but if we were back in the good era of SP I'd assume it was an intentional gag
too funny for modern SP tho
Kyle was the one who got a Blackplasty, right?
That would actually be hilarious if it was self aware and they made jokes about it. A plot about Netflix directors trying to turn all redheads into black people.
How did Timmy react to his best friend Jimmy actively bullying his own kind? Also how does Timmy feel about it, being born with a horrible genetic deformity AND being crippled on top of it.
post cozy beans
Eric invited to his house:
>Kyle, Kenny, Stan and Butters (obvious)
>Jimmy (bffs)
>Token, Craig and Clyde (not Tweek tho, btfo methhead)
>Timmy (for some reason)
>Dogpoo???
>Tweek... not Tweek, I don't want Craig and him fricking in my god damn household.
Kenny and Jimmy are often portrayed as chads what are you on about
As much as I like Jimmy, it's been shown that most kids just tolerate him and find his jokes chuckle worthy at best.
true, but he can clearly get b***hes
Besides his one time girlfriend and that ugly fat prostitute what other b***hes did he get? Red and that girl he had a date with in the boner episode were both turned off by his autistic bluntness.
>Being sex obsessed = chad
I guess Clyde is a chad too
Shut up, Craig.
>Stan
>INTP
Max are you okay?
Do you think anons in these threads actually hate Kyle as a character or hate how badly the tumblr/twitter fandom misunderstands his character?
both, but the latter can be ignored
hes still a little shitter in canon
I'm completely indifferent to everything related to him
I like him when he’s doing his thing with Cartman but find him incredibly boring with any other character or by himself
I peepeed in my pants (just now) look
Can someone give Max his meds already
he has meds?
Max can u confirm?
Half a sleeping pill once a month which works as good as coffee keeping me awake which works as good as extinguishing a fire with a toothpick.
have you tried lithium?
Bet you would give me something else if you thought I was a fiery saucy grilled steak covered in butter.
im trying to make a post for the forum with every magicaldraw board we did but i think im missing one. i remember it had a framed picture of creek where tweek was the sun and craig the sea. maybe somebody here has it saved?
ok forget it, i found it just now. it had a different name
like pic rel? dont think i recall
yes, it was this one. sorry i just find it
kek i love these, we gotta do another someday
please tell me you documented them all
i HOPE because i had a lot of fun doing those. i've been trying to get them all but they are scattered all over my pcs. i've got 10 of them now + pic related but i don't think i should i add it lol
yupp, sorry i got it right after posting the message. it took me 20 minutes to search for it all over tbharchive
works for me
That's one of the npg ones, not sure how it got mixed up here.
I just get this on my screen for some reason. I assumed it was them working on fixing the site for us so we can make threads.
nope, it works on my machine. i just made the thread. maybe it's the cache of your browser? try to open it in a private window, dunnoww
I switched to an incognito window and it worked, which is good. A bit annoying, but better than it not working.
That ponytail Tweek is so cute
>I wanna frick towelie now
is he really a femboy?
>That Peruvian Craig on the cross
KEK
Me on the far right
Is the forum that aimoo site? because that is down for maintenance for me
Why do you post here instead of interacting on tumblr or twitter? I don’t mean this to sound accusatory just that those sites have more content and people to talk to.
because you can say Black person and moron here
This
also everyone here is pretty chill there is way too much infighting over dumb shit on those sites.
Tumblr
>I keep saying Nazi stuff and getting banned, I have terminal gotta joke about edgy shit sickness.
Twitter
>I really can't understand how to use it and it looks just as unable to take a joke anyhow
But I do. It's actually easy to code switch, but I like it here specifically because I can say gay and be as depraved as I want.
Are you a fanartist over there?
gigers, gingers, gigers.
I just created an account, how do I activate it?
It was hard as frick but I made it
You have to create an account on the aimoo actual website not the forum, and check your spam email to activate the account
Who married Kyle in the new Post Covid timeline?
nobody. he generated his children with some future thing using his sperm
Kyle is gay
Me.
luckyyyyyyy
i thought it was implied to be Yentl considering how similar the kids looked to Cartman's
>there is only one single israeli woman in the world
Does your girlfriend/boyfriend also watch SP?

I proposed a metal themed polycule ages ago, still waiting for someone to take in the offer
How does polycule work over the internet
Is there an internet bed we can all internet cuddle on
We could roleplay on club penguin

That would be soooo cool...

Which three characters would you remove from the show if you could?
1. Randy
2.
I don’t understand why Randy is so hated in these threads, he is loved on Reddit.
What different genre & themes would you take the show into?
Still a better love story than Randy and weed.
People seem to forget season 20. Was the bawdhunt saga not that good to be memorable or it wasn't enough of it?
Wow the bawdhunt one was 5 years ago? so we got 5-7 years of Tegridy Shit? when did Tegridy farms start?
Tegridy farms started season 22, so 2018.
>2018
might as well have been 10 years ago
I hate that everyone lumps all the adult characters together just because Randy is overused. Fans seem to think the older characters are bad and the problem of why the show sucks now.
Imagine hearing about all the kids suck because Cartman has the most plots.
I can't hate Mr Mackey
There is not nearly enough cute art posted in these threads.
As a stanman fan this makes me happy
Hey Matt & Trey... frick you.
Why are you both such lazy pieces of shits? With your hundreds of millions and the abysmally low budget required for South Park you could churn out episodes the way animes like Pokemon and Naruto churns them out without any of western's bullshit 6-9 month hiatuses or Disney's 2-3 year hiatuses.
Zzzzzzz
Trey I swear to God I will say the forbidden phrase.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Fairly Odd Parents is better than South Park.
Trey let me breed you since you won't be useful otherwise
Zzzzzzz
Trey please I'm so horny and only your fat squishy vegana can satisfy my needs since your show won't
Zzzzzzz
TREYYYYY

Also Kyle+Butters would make another great pairing.

Oh c'mon miss Cartman is a great mother. Just ignore that 1 time she dressed up Cartman and made him dance on the table(off screen) or that time she wanted him out of the house to screw with someone.
Remember that time sheila told kenny to spit in kyle's mouth
I think he'd be mad about Eric stealing uncle Jimbo away from him again.

This has potential, tell me more
Kyman but if Kyle were a fat fifty year old woman.
You mean kyman but if Kyle had all the power in the dynamic and could pressure Cartman into sweet doubtfully consensual sex... wait that's just regular kyman
Kyle doesn’t have all the power though. They’re evenly balanced.
Wendy has a vegana though and in tvland having a vegana gives you plot powers.
I want Sheila raping Cartman as much as the next person but how would it play with kyman as endgame? Let's talk about it.
>Let's talk about it.
Really let’s not.
Are you scared you might like it?
Just make Kyle fat then

Where are you the South Park iceberg
Slappy says the N word
kyman so canon it made it in the iceberg
idk if id consider something making it into an iceberg to be 'so canon'
if anything thats more 'so obscure that its in an iceberg meme'
idk i was joking, i just found it amusing to find a ship name so low in the picture but, if i project a little about it, considering that the person who did this image added a bunch of old shitposts and theories and nothing about new fandom crap, he probably got so offended by kyman existing that he had to add it in the "beyond saving" section.
the other shipping reference, if i didn't miss anything, is just "shippers planted by family guy stuff to make it look cringe" (kek).
this person probably hates all the shipping stuff, since he says it's for pedos, but kyman stuff has a lot of theories and discussions around normal fans, like cartman is gay etc, so my guess is that this stuff went outside the shipping circle and poor op found about it
where's "Cartman hates Wendy because of what happens in "Chef goes Nanners""?

Originally, the plot of that episode involved returning the quintuplets and Kenny to their respective countries, but shortly after Elian Gonzalez was taken from his Miami relatives' home the Saturday before Easter 2000, April 22, Parker and Stone quickly changed the plot so that it would look exactly like the Miami raid.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eli%C3%A1n_Gonz%C3%A1lez
Goddamn south park always making current event references. Get it guys? It's funny because its a thing you recognize!
how come the references feel more painful now than they used to? maybe because they were more obscure? less obtrusive? less common?
Do we know how obscure the Elian Gonzalez Miami raid was at the time? It might have been all over the news back then for the people who watched the episode when it came out.
maybe obscure wasnt the right word
i moreso meant... "generic"
a raid is an event thats a lot more general and simple than whatever the president tweeted about yesterday, if you know what i'm saying
>generic
They dedicate most of the second half of that episode to directly shitting on Janet Reno, the Attorney General at the time who was heavily involved in the Cuba negotations
These comfy threads would be pissing and shitting their pants at such a political episode if it came out nowadays
every time someone brings up something they dislike about the new show, someones gotta come in with "but they DID the thing before" or "heres an example not doing it today"
when we clearly talk about them having done it less or more elegantly, and now doing it more
Isnt them bringing up that they did the things you are complaining about before a valid criticism of that complaint? Maybe you just don't like the current stuff because you hate current events and were too young when old South Park spoofed the current events of the time to notice. You don't really argue against this, you just say
>Oh well it isn't done as eloquently nowadays
without actually providing proof of this, outside of your personal tastes
but my complaint is that they did them better, and thus even when they did them it felt less annoying
>when we clearly talk about them having done it less or more elegantly,
They did it all the time and it was never more 'elegant' than now, what is this bullshit threshold?
how is
>hey look this shot of Kenny is just like that image you are seeing in the news that is causing a lot of protest!
More elegant than
>Hey look it's Randy doing that thing you saw in the news last week that caused controversy!
>thing that relates to the plot but also emulates current event in a way that isnt obvious until you know about it
vs
>hey guys ever heard of THING? boy, that THING sure is A THING. this doesnt make sense or is funny if you dont understand the reference, its just a reference for the sake of reference
By comfy thread standards, this is elegant like how they used to do it because it is a
>thing that relates to the plot but also emulates current event in a way that isnt obvious until you know about it
However Comfy thread will still complain about it and claim it is just
>Hey look at THING isn't THING bad? don't you recognise THING?
As for
>Serialisation poisoning specific characters
But people get tired of this, and "Garrison does trump thing" or "Randy does weed shit" becomes predictable, and loses that comedic unpredictability and absurdity.
but most people agree that the show used to be better, and we gotta ask why
you can argue its fake and gay all you want but you cant deny the consensus
I went into detail about why this is in the second paragraph as well as here
The show is less funny than it was before, this I agree with but I don't believe it is necessarily because Matt and Trey were just "better at doing political stuff back then".
See that's exactly the problem. It is high risk high reward. Matt and Trey are running dry comedically, so they need to stretch out the jokes they do have to fit a whole episode, and fill the rest in with simple visual gags they can make up along the way. I still enjoy Matt and Trey's humour, so the episodes for the most part aren't awful to me, but they are feeling more thin compared to older episodes. Either Matt and Trey continue like this, and episodes will continue to feel a bit disappointing (or awful for many thread regulars) or they take that plunge into the unknown of new writers.
I guess what we gotta ask ourselves, would you rather a slow death? or the chance at new life alongside the very probably chance of a quick death?
thing is even their visual gags have gotten bad, most of it is on the level of "silly faces/ funny voices"
Season 2 was funny and M&T weren't writing it,
so I'm half-optimistic
The issue with Rick and Morty isn't that they hired new writers, it's that they went out of their way to hire the least funny people on the planet (women), and the show itself turning it into a self insert reddit atheist power fantasy
well distilling that down to basics, they hired less funny writers then they had originally.
You were younger and didn't understand what the references were
Then only big important event would come out to the news
Now with social media moronic shit can go viral
something like manbearpig inn the early seasons is funny because seeing this guy freak out over literally nothing is funny, regardless of whether you know who Al Gore is or not, compare that later seasons where the entire episode is just "WOW THIS HORRIBLE THING THAT'S KILLING EVERYONE RIGHT BEHIND ME TOTALLY ISN'T REAL MAN"
"MANBEARPIG IS KILLING US BECAUSE BOOMERS WANTED COOL STUFF, THEY TRADED OUR FUTURE FOR COOL STUFF!"
That's because Matt and Trey now take global warming cereal so are trying to compensate for their earlier episodes denying it
I don't have autism that's for sure. Do you have an explanation for pretty much all of them?

>0 speaking roles before and after being Cartman's girlfriend
Marjorine?
Yeah but during their relationship arc, she got too much focus, that's one of the main reasons why people are not that fond of heiman and seasons 20-21 in the first place.
Well yeah, the arc was specifically about the relationship, do you just expect one half of it to not be there?
Again, their whole arc was dragged on for too long and it didn't help that things got repetitive pretty fast.
To be fair, the first half of it had to share a season with three other arcs
I think Leslie is dead now, and same with Ms. Choksondik. Makes sense they don't use them anymore.
Dude I know that, I just felt that their potential (especially Leslie's) was a bit wasted.

I predict everyone we end up as poor as Cartman. Something something tech bubble crashing .
>Zoomers think old South Park wasn't heavily political and topical because they're too young to get the references
Kek, you couldn't make it up
Speaking of Quintuplets 2000, I had a mandela moment with it a while ago, I could have sworn there was an episode in like season 10-15 where the main plot was Kenny becoming an opera singer, but it's actually a season 4 episode and the oprah stuff was just a really minor b plot, I don't even remember the quintuplets at all

With my house computer and not the shitty work one
If I were to write an SP episode it'd go something like this:
>Cartman and his mom are sitting on the couch, lamenting their current living condition.
>Cue outro
>Tfw Brapgay's fetish fanfic makes for a better SP episode than anything from the past 7 years.
It really isn’t, I know things are bad but you don’t have to lower your standards that much
Perhaps, but I think I'd unironically rather watch an episode where the main focus is Liane farting than anything from season 20 and 21 (An entire season dedicated to "OOOH LOOK AT WHAT BAD ORANGE MAN TWEETED!!!" and that cringey Heman subplot)
