You think animation YouTubers have the slightest idea in how to make something good. Their skills involve only critiquing and never once trying to venture in learning more beyond that. There is a reason gays like LS Mark and Mr Enter have to hire dozens of people to even get anything made.
The leaked storyboards show that the cat guy is a fricking loser and gets drunk with two guys he doesn't know. Meanwhile the mouse which is a kind guy the entire film suddenly stops giving fricks at the end and drinks some of the alcohol too. There's literally no message for this film other than "girls suck because they made me hold their jackets all night, frick it, might as well get drunk with the bros." Maybe I'm being too harsh by judging leaks for an animation that hasn't even come out yet but still. I don't get what message mark was trying to do and it doesn't feel like coming of age at all. There's literally no character development because the cat stays a grumpy dick the entire film that's a nervous wreck around woman and the mouse doesn't do shit other than lose his temper when he realizes the girls are just using him as a coat rack. I think the biggest problem though it that none of the characters are likeable since they're all protrayed as pathetic, both the girls and the guys. It's overall just not a very good film and the scenes are a bore to sit through. Wish I still had the link to that YouTube video with the leaks because it's literally terrible to watch
