he was simply fricking moron and had no clue how to run it. his plan was to strangle the Citadel by taking Gastown and Bullet Farm but he got caught up larping and changing his persona too much
It was either all faked (the rioting and his incompetence) or he pulled a Joker from The Dark Knight and decided to capitalize on the rioting by calling a meeting of the warlords so Bullet Farm would be undefended.
It's possible. I just think he was a charismatic marauder that worked best when he was roving around with his biker horde scavenging and killing. The moment he settles down and have to run things he can't because he's mostly an idiot.
>fury road was good
It was good
It's hardly a Mad Max movie, but it's still a good movie. Cool stunts, cool cars, almost no story. Just a fun thing to watch, nothing more.
It's like with games, Fallout 4 is not an RPG, not a Fallout game at all. But it's not bad, you can have some fun playing it
>scene sets up a potential civil war between Dementus and Octoboss down the road >instead Octoboss just leaves Gastown years later to strike out on his own
Lame.
Furiosa was pretty good, the worst parts were the Fury Road tie ins. The first and last acts were very strong but the middle section just gets bogged down.
It's been said a lot but Chris Hemsworth is the highlight and played his role really well, unfortunately he isn't really a main focus. The young Furiosa actor, her mum and budget Mad Max were great too
It reminds me of Better Call Saul in terms of prequels where there is really good material but that had to be buried beneath Breaking Bad cameos and pandering.
It's less woke and feminist than Fury Road, but Anya Taylor Joy was miscast. Too wiry, it's ridiculous that she could convincingly pass as a man in that environment and be overpowering men.
>liberation of sex slaves by strong woman >Max a background character for thr entire final battle >"WHO DESTROYED THE WORLD?" >"THEY ARE NOT YOUR PROPERTY!"
Watch it again.
I'm not at all interested in this place that Miller wrote all these years.
It was ok for Fure Road, mainly because the movie had great pacing and was specifically not about gay ass world building and lore. This one is, and it's complete and utter bog.
what? If anything Fury Road felt more like a bollywood movie. This was slow and took its time and had less cringe 360 noscope editing. The vfx "quality" was ass, thoughever. Can't defend that.
What was that pacing?
paced perfectly to own the chuds!
Was that riot at Gastown a ruse? Was it a fake riot or did Dementus purposely piss everyone off to make them riot?

nah he looked crazed and disheveled at this point and his men killed a bunch of the workers. plus he's already got a bunch of them hanged out front.
i know how oldgays felt when i stupidly said fury road was good but no way in shit im watching this shit

YOU ARE SCUM, DEMENTUS

I liked it more than Fury Road. That was feminist slop, this largely wasn't.
This was so feminist they removed Max entirely besides a cameo
>liberation of sex slaves by strong woman
>Max a background character for thr entire final battle
>"WHO DESTROYED THE WORLD?"
>"THEY ARE NOT YOUR PROPERTY!"
Watch it again.
How much screen time does Max have in this mad max movie?
How much time was spent in Furiosa making social commentary on sexual liberation or patriarchal structures?
If it was so feminist why wasn't there a girl named Vaginus?
For me it was Red Dementus

>Dementus

>Rictus Erectus
>The People Eater
George Miller really likes Gwar doesn't he.
This looks so kino
It was, I'm mad I let this shit board think for me again
Better than fury road?
Just as good imo
Fury road was good I'm expecting this to be better
mad max bolllywood movie sounds kino. Too bad it wasn't like that.
