I believe that there's a very good chance the hijackers were government agents and the entire thing was completely orchestrated by the US government. I also believe that once the planes were in the sky, events happened largely as the news says they did. Bush did 9/11, but by paying someone to fly a plane into the WTC, not by planting charges.

The flight recorder indicated that crashing the plane wasn't intentional on their part, they were trying to pull up, but the pilot was already a goner. The whole story about the patriotic self sacrifice was propaganda, they still had the balls to overpower the hijackers though.
