Aside from pink, are the other diamonds even all that powerful? I mean.. sure they’re big but like so is ant man sometimes. Plus we’ve never seen their actual diamond powers have any affect on regular human beings

Let's be real here-all the diamonds are piss-weak by cartoon alien overlords standards, hilariously overspecialised for dealing with Gem technology and have the emotional fortitude of wet tissue paper.
IDK, the show is all over the place on regards to gem power/tech. There was a doodad that could time travel and Lapis could drain an entire ocean, but the Diamonds themselves, the fricking top dogs of their whole advanced civilization, feel like they'd get stomped on by the Hulk alone
The show is extremely inconsistent with what gems are capable of, and on top of that we barely see the diamonds actually do anything. MCU I would probably put at something like 80/20 in favor of Avengers. Comic Avengers is a complete stomp.
It'd honestly be more fair to have them fight The Empire, they blow up Sheev's planets he'll blow up theirs.
Also Kyber Gems getting holocausted to power a planet busting laser that's used to destroy planets the Diamonds control sounds metal as frick.
