I don't think it would work. A lot of the show is based on white culture. Hank is a boomer, a lower-middle-class property owner with conservative values. Hank was based on real people Mike judge met. Very reserved people due to the shock of war. Hank is based on those people but his trauma is from his father & not war
I don't know a lot about black culture or black Texans. But KOTH was realistic & based on real people. Mike Judge literally drove his writers around Texas to show them the kinds of places Hank would live in & where he would work ETC
