Seinfeld
Curb is good but Seinfeld has funnier characters. Larry is the highlight of Curb and a more interesting lead than Jerry but the supporting cast of Seinfeld's more interesting and funny
Curbs early seasons are better radio shows then TV. It's like they didn't start acting visually until season 6, and the fucking DV footage wasn't doing any favors. But the writing is better in Curb, hands down.
Curb. I like most Curb episodes, but most Seinfeld episodes have no effect on me. I think my favorite Seinfeld episode was the one with the no fap bet.
Curb is just painful to watch. All of MC's problems are caused by himself and not even in sympathetic way like with George. He's just unsufferably dickish and tends to complain a lot
The opposite is true, all the side characters in Curb act like oversocialized psychopath redditors. The worst part is Larry almost always backs down when people get mad at him even when he's in the right. He's a simpering coward. The episode where he got beat up by a lesbian and the episode where he let himself get yelled at for using a handicap stall and some of the worst examples of this.
Curb for being less dated, being able to curse and just being funnier in general. Also I wish Jerry would admit just once that he would be nowhere without Larry David, Larry went on from creating the best comedy of all time up to that point to creating the next one. What the fuck has Jerry accomplished after Seinfeld besides being a smug prick and taking credit for everything?
I honestly don't know which one I prefer better. Between Larry and Jerry, I prefer Larry, but Seinfeld also has Kramer and George. Jerry is a weakest element out of all of them.
they have a general direction for each episode with set points they want to move to. it's not like they're making this shit all up on the fly. you can tell when jeff and larry are talking together alone that they're just making shit up and laughing a lot but i question how much else is ad libbed despite the fact that they play this up in interviews
I prefer the cartoonish nature of Seinfeld. Curb gets too political later on for my tastes.
when is it political besides that one ep from a recent season where larry wear's a maga hat
Seinfeld is better in every aspect. Curb doesn't have anyone half as funny as Jason Alexander
Seinfeld has really high highs but curb at least for me consistently keeps me entertained and I like the pessimism around Larry's character more.
Sure but I think that's something I can overlook
>Jason Alexander is not half as funny as Jason Alexander
I think he would agree.
Seinfeld is comfier and more consistent, curb is funnier with higher highs but lower lows. Both are peak tv
seinfeld is boomerslop and jerry himself isn't funny at all. larry is hilarious
Jerry’s a good straight man tho, he’s not a great actor but he has his own charm and the other characters carry the funniness
Seinfeld is funny as an unfunny guy who thinks he’s funny

Seinfeld has the better cast. Curb has the writing and the jokes are there but I hate everyone on it.

Ok but what about a show starring Larry David, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards
What then
Larry > Jerry. Otherwise, Seinfeld is better.

Are they gonna bring back Marty Funkhouser for the final season of Curb?
Anon…
shhh don't tell him
nah he's still in China tearing up that sideways pussy

This is my favorite Curb scene:
seinfeld is just not funny. There are no jokes there
Curb is too israeli.
Learn thy enemy.
Yeah, in the best possible way.ngp8r
I find all of Larry's celebrity friends obnoxious and not funny. Except Jeff Garlin, he's ok
they're usually intentionally written to be assholes, Seinfeld being maybe the only exception
The whole show is largely ad libbed, they are playing themselves

It's like you're asking me to choose between children. I love them both dearly.
