Tim is such a fricking loser, like move on already homosexual

this, like holy frick, Tim is like that loser child that won't move out despite being an adult nearing their 30s, forever stuck as a manchild/Robin and hogging up time and resources that should be going to the new younger Robin. Making Tim Drake all this attention by turning him bisexual was dumb as hell, they should have also used that mainstream attention to at least also give him a new permanent hero identity to better synergize with his newfound lust for getting pounded in the ass

Damian Wayne: Dissolute, Underage, Eurotrash Detective.

That's not a bad thing. It just mean that Damian is going to evolve as a character and move on from being Robin. Something which Tim is incapable of doing since the entire existence of his character. Even when he got a new identity like Red Robin, it still included Robin in it's name.

Damian has the the same issue. He's the heir but he'll never get to be Batman. The best you could do is stick him with the LoA, but that means torpedoing his character.

        Anonymous

In case of Tim it looks to me more like desperate attempt to make him relevant again.
I'm don't think that will really take much a way from Damian. Damian seems still to be the main Robin, who appears in more books, and since Tim got just shot in Batman #125 I also don't think that we will see that much of him in Zdarsky's as some people seem to expect.

        >He's the heir but he'll never get to be Batman.
that's not a problem unless he gets aged up like jon kent

          Anonymous

He's been aged up repeatedly though. Everyone is aware he's ageing much faster than the characters around him. It's already a joke.

            Anonymous

He aged from 10 to 14 in the last 16 years. It’s not that bad.

              Anonymous

It's not that bad, but he keeps getting closer to Tim and Jason (Dick is old enough that it can be ambiguous). Tim was 16ish by the end of Young Justice and it's questionable that he's reached 18 now. If they get much closer it'll start looking really weird.

                Anonymous

Tim was 18/19 in the Red Robin series, Cass was 18 in her solo, and Steph was a college freshman in her Batgirl run. Damian aging 4 years is really notable in comparison since they've all been static. Granted, Lian is right there and you're looking at a nine year age up at minimum within the same span of time.

                Anonymous

I thought he was a bit older in RR than he is now. Cass being 18 is pretty wacky though; isn't she supposed to be a little older than Jason? Or would that possibly fit?

                Anonymous

Cass was stated to be about Jason's age if he hadn't died, and that he would have been preparing for college.

like that other anon said 10 to 14 in16 years isn't a big deal. It took Tim the same amount of time to hit 18.

Because he is now gay, and DC wants a gay Robin. Also he is probably going to be the main Robin in the DC films.

I think Red Canary is Sin Lance, not Lian Harper.

        Anonymous

I hope it is but Lian seems like the safest option, and I hate it because I think Cheshire cat is already a cool mantle, and having Dinah’s legacy be an arrow family character instead of a character only related to her would suck.

          a) sin is back?
          b) does arsenal know his daughter is alive? I know jade does

I think it's Sin precisely because Lian has been back for a year and had already assumed the identity of Chesire. Also Roy knows he's alive, their reunion is supposedly happening in Dark Crisis. I guess that could be an argument for Red Canary being Lian, though, there's only so much you can fit in a 7 issues event and maybe there won't be time to focus on Sin and Lian.

    Be a farmer

Like just fully buy a farm work on it single handled. I always felt like Damien had this love for animals, so it'd be interesting to see him in a job that involves working with them.

I also like the idea of companies that take advantage of farms trying to take advantage of Damien and he's just not fricking having it.

      Based idea

      >Damian is one of those upper class twits who buy 40 acres in some gentrified exurban enclave and starts a hobby farm after watching too many homesteading videos on youtube
Don't forget to pick up next month's exciting conclusion! Can Damian set up a booth at the farmer's market without trying to pass off produce from the Gotham Organic co-op as his own? Will he have sell his pigs to pay the county fine for polluting the local creek with animal waste runoff? All this and more in Damian: Son of Batman and Independent Farmer #18!

Damian starting the Migration Operation, a directive to bring Robins in other cities and parts of the world, while Tim assume the codename restricted to Gotham City. He brings Mia Mizoguchi with him to train her, along with others. Let go of his controlling nature since the point of the mission is to train other robins and let them fly on their own. It’s also a gradual thing instead of a whole army.

I could have sworn that Damian is going to get a new title. He'll be joining the Justice League dark, basically he's the mystical magic one in the Batfamily now. Think he'll be called Dark Detective from rumors.

That seems like a waste in my opinion, he just got a brand new b***hin Robin costume, and they're gonna make him drop the mantle so Tim can be relevant again? Fricking lame.

    >What direction should Damian take
Some sort of globe trekking ass kicking pulpy high adventure series.
Think something like a cross between a bunch of Jacky Chan movies, old school pulp adventure stuff like doc savage, with a little bit of spy and supernatural stuff added in for spice.

Like having to travel the world collecting pieces of a mystical ancient doomsday weapon before a recurring group of bad guys, (from which he can construct his own rouges gallery and get some original vilians to make him further stand out from the bat's shadow and be his own thing) can get them.
It's a bit basic but it offers a lot of creative flexablity and works well in single issue formats while rewarding readers who stick with the whole thing to see the progressing of the adventure.
And it can be converted into a cartoon or something pretty easily which could be profitable if advertised right.

Yes. He has low sales and he is irrelevant to anything. You can replace him with anyone else and get same results

DC is trying really hard to push this shitty character(all the animated movies and comics) and that is why they are losing money

He's already being replaced, he's been stripped of his Robin mantle. Making Tim the face of Robin, and having him be backseat to Tim. His Robin series is ending.

At this point, Damian will be allowed to age up, while Tim is doomed to be stuck at 16. DC don't know what to do with him. I'm not even sure being Red Robin is going to work for him at this point.

Tim they just don't believe he will survive without Robin's mantle, and with Damian, they already tried to take Robin mantle off him and it led to huge backlash from fans.

. Mark Waid is currently writing Batman vs Robin #1, which would sell a lot more than he writing Robin #16 (or even Damian Wayne: Robin #1).

I suspect they are doing the Batman vs Robin to attract more readers. So, they will give Damian as Robin a new ongoing after that.
