Might as well list the usual suspects for the sake of possible revamp discussion. We have:
    >The Kingpin
    >Bullseye
    >The Owl
    >Gladiator
    >Mister Fear
    >Leapfrog
    >Stilt-Man
    >The Hand
    >Ikari
    >Coyote
    >Typhoid Mary
    >Purple Man
    >Nuke
    >Man-Bull
    >Matador
    Anyone else worth noting?

They need to change it so that Purple Man uses his powers in a way that the people being controlled don't realize they've been under his influence and Matt, being immune to his powers, is the only one who can tell something is wrong.

        >Purple Man
If you want to fix him, I'd start by dropping any ties to J*ssica J*nes. Otherwise he forever would be seen as a superpowered equivalent of a Lifetime movie villain.

Double down on the Jessica Jones connection by revealing Jessica was Purple Man's willing partner and has been deep cover infiltrating the cape community for years.

      Mr Fear’s daughter Shock
      Lady Bulleye
      Death Stalker
      Jester
      Masked Marauder
      Muse
And my personal favorite, Mycah Synn

      Elektra.

Two ideas. One is a villan version of the Teenage Mutant ninja turtules.

Two is someone who's primarilly a rival to matt in the courtroom.

Use Rosalind Sharpe as Matt’s courtroom rival.
        Plenty of GILF energy.

I don't think this board gives a shit about Daredevil. He's like the contrarian Marvel character pick that keeps aping off of Spider-Man, and all anyone ever talks about is Miller

Miller set a high bar for the character. It’s why adaptations always use his stuff.

      >He's like the contrarian Marvel character pick that keeps aping off of Spider-Man
That's because he already is kind of a Great Value Spider-Man.

You compare the first 100 issues of Daredevil to Spidey, it's not even a contest. Matt's books were weak, and frequently pulling from Peter's material when shit like Matador or Purple Man weren't cutting it. Daredevil's biggest foe is a guy nearly every street level NY hero has beef with

It’s why I got no problems with adding Daredevil to Spider-Man’s cast. He could be the Leonardo to Spidey’s Raphael. Teach him how to control his rage and show him how to actually move effectively instead of brute forcing everything. Give an in-universe reason as to why Spidey’s as good as he is in his prime.

        Anonymous

He doesn’t have the super strength and speed that Spidey has. Just increased senses. This makes him more of an underdog when dealing with criminals since someone can just get lucky if he’s not paying attention. That or if he’s dealing with someone with actual super powers like when he got destroyed by Namor.

The underdog thing falls flat what with the ninja training and bullshit Matt can do

I wouldn't go that far. Just saying DD's material could use some work

Matt's thing is he's still physically human. He's highly skilled and has minor superpowers, but it's still conceivable for ordinary people to stand up to him in a fight. Pete, on the other hand, is "let me yeet a car through a fifth story window after by precognitive abilities said there was danger coming from that specific window." To put it simply, Matt has a fairly grounded, for superheroes, cape career as opposed to Peter; also Peter used to have fairly mundane drama in his personal life while Matt was full telenovela.

              Anonymous

It's hard to say Daredevil is grounded when he has superhuman perception that goes beyond normal sight, and he has magic ninja bullshit training that no real human can possibly do.

Not really something you can say when Matt can beat fricking Rhino with a stick. Just saying

Why doesn't he have a villian who screams but cannot hear?

They already played the deaf character card with Echo, so that's probably off the table. Though I suppose anyone who screams, uses sound, or plays an instrument is still oddly absent in DD books. Am I just forgetting someone? This has to be a thing already

Wolverine comics recently had a good take on the Masked Marauder.
He ran an underground evil auction of illegal material with mostly superhuman items.

    Here's my DD villain idea
    >Disgraced Hand ninja defects to become his own thing
    >Steals Doctor Connors's notes, vibranium, and creates a new mutagen
    >Becomes a giant snappng turtle monster that looks like Shredder from TMNT with a resonating shell that GONGS when hit thank to vibranium
    >Clones 3 women based on Elektra's DNA to be his henchwomen. Their colors and weapons match Leo, Donny, and Mikey

Since TMNT exists thanks to Daredevil, I say we mirror TMNT in return

New villain idea: “The Stuntman”. Deaf guy who has superb eyesight and can get out of dangerous situations quickly because he was a Hollywood stuntman. He also will wear a blue version of daredevil’s costume. His motivation is his hatred of blind people. Because of his great eyesight he could tell from a glance daredevil is blind and thus wants to kill him.

That's a terrible name. Use the one I came up with.

Dare-Evil is a straight up loser edgelord. Talking "while you were partying, I was studying the BLADE" tier. He's also such an irritating butthole that Matt doesn't feel guilty about shattering his jaw then going back for a couple kicks to the kidneys after he's down.

Leans way too close to Electra. Just make her a woman who one day woke up and declared she was on a mission from God. While strictly speaking nothing she does is beyond normal human capability, the fact that a woman in her 30s who never even had a gym membership is suddenly able to scale skyscrapers, bypass security systems, and murder guys with her bare hands is raising a lot of questions.

But that already describes Stained Glass Scarlet from Moon Knight.

I like the Karen Page angle. Or better yet, make it so Matt’s senses are inconclusive on if shes Karen or not.
