Cinemaphile would lead you to believe that season 3 sucks, when season 3 delivered purified Elisabeth fight to the death kino. Also, Katharina's mom arc, Ulrich being left hanging, etc. S3 was kino, KINO!

S3: Seeing and realizing the terrifying implication of the loop, with all its people born out of a paradox, knowing they would be gone, was intense.
In it´s core, Dark is one of the best and most mature, if not the best love story brought to the small screen embedded in an insane scifi setting.

pure dogshit. everyone wants to change the future by repeating what they did before. if you try to stray from the loop you cant because fate lmao. except at the end of the show because we need to deus ex machina it, has to end sometime. to distract from the solved main problem of the show they pepper it with petty drama, wich doesnt work since all the characters are unlikeable.

Claudia was born outside the knot, it makes sense she could figure out a third option
all she needs to understand is the origin (not the world, the actual deformed freak psycho child of jonas and martha) is the progenitor of the entire family tree, so she knows time travel didn't originate from either of them and has to look outside the tree. she's also able to pass down information to herself in the loop. it's a simple as looking at everyone close to the family who isn't related to anyone and picking out the most likely candidate. hg taunhaus, the guy who wrote a time travel book and created the time travel devices (yeah yeah bootstrapped shut the frick up) is the most likely of any of them.
