I hope Fate is not killed off in Black Adam & I would like him to get a spin off HBO series or something. Outfit is fantastic.

If we got a new Justice League my ideal line up would be...

    > Superman (cavill)
    > Batman (affleck)
    > Wonder Woman
    > Aquaman
    > Mera (if they recast with someone still hyper sexy who keeps the cleavage, ideally Deborah Ann Woll)
    > Doctor Fate
    >> Mary Marvel OR Darla

Frick Shazam, Cryborg & The Flasher.

Take some risks and make a Damage film because people have been wanting a Hulk film that Marvel is never going to make. Make him the crossover antagonist that fights the military in his origin film, then the Suicide Squad in the next film (who lose) then the Justice League in the last as he gets folded in as a new Leaguer.

I say Solomon Grundy has more potential

Grundy is a better gimmick but we're talking about a Hulk film in all but name. Grundy is a wandering zombie.

Oh yeah that terrible take on Damage was a thing I completely forgot about him.
Grant was a much better character

Yeah, but I'm pitching to make a not!Hulk film to capitalize against the competition's inability to do so.

    >Black Adam
I have no faith in this, aside from Winkler and Brosnan the casting is shit, the costume design is garbage, the story sounds like a pale imitation of Black Reign, it generally looks fairly generic, and it’s clearly just a vanity project of the rocks

    >Shazam 2
This one I’m hyped for it looks fun and despite not having Mr. Mind in it, which is an incredibly dumb decision, the bad guys sound interesting enough on their own… having Gal appear as WW in it sounds like a bad decision though

    >Aquaman 2
Much like Shazam 2 the movie sounds like a fun romp hopefully they underplay Herd the Turd

    >The Flash
The movie just sounds utterly terrible and the star is a fricking Pedophile

      >the costume design is garbage,
Not for Fate or Hawkman. Adam's suit isn't as good as the new Shazam family suits but absolutely is better than the 1st films suits.

Are you high? Fates helmet is fricking trash and he just looks like someone poured molten gold on him not to mention the costume looks like a shitty version of his post infinite crisis costume and Hawkman just looks awful in red the wings on the helmet just look way to much not mention the shitty tank top, Cyclone looks nothing like her comic counterpart (not talking about race), Comic Cyclone has a costume that was inspired by her aunts costume and Wicked so it’s very theatrical. The movie costume just looks like badly made armor. Smasher for some reason has Deadpool eyes and looks weird with sleeves. Also no Adams suit looks like they bought a shirt of a rack printed his insignia on and then threw it in the wash multiple times

    >Hopes & Ideas
For the DCEU to be quietly cancelled, to the extent they stop trying to chase the shared universe train they’re too late to get going and just focus on individual good quality films. That is to say, none of the ones currently being presented.
    >Biggest Concerns?
    Amber Heard making a comeback.

While overrated, Joker is head and shoulders above literally everything else. Man of Steel gets credit for having a few interesting ideas, though.

      Anonymous

That's because Joker is the most grounded one of them all and wasn't exactly a Joker film to begin with. It barely counts as a capefilm barring the names used. Man of Steel is legitimately my favourite cape film that has come out of all of this.

      >Wally to replace Barry
If the DCEU didn’t seem to be imploding so quickly, I’d say it might be more likely than you think after all the shit Ezra pulled. But seriously-we haven’t even gotten a Flash movie and they’re already wanting to reboot. Your best hope is for WB to implode, then someone else come pick up the pieces.
      >redhead
Damn, Wally’s definitely getting blackwashed huh

Iris is already black and I can’t see them wanting to go through the effort of explaining how she has a ginger nephew unless it’s a standalone film or another universe.

Now that I remember, I had the idea that it’d be cool to do a live action Teen Titans film with the original members (Robin, Wally, Donna, Speedy, Aqualad) and then maybe a sequel introducing the mainstream members.

Replacing shitty Ezra Barry with a Wally only serves to "validate" Barry. I say go full reboot and start over

I look at all the reboots the comics made just making shit more moronic over the years until we end up with Perpetua and Batkek and now Pariah/the Great Darkness trying to destroy the multiverse by having Slade beat up the Teen Titans (!?) and I think at this point a hard reboot what just confuse and frustrate everyone more. Do a soft reboot instead. Don’t waste everyone’s time with Flashpoint, NOBODY likes Flashpoint, just quietly go “hey we’re doing this Superman movie about Superman that focuses on Superman’s powers and character development, you don’t need to watch Man of Steel for it” like how The Batman doesn’t need you to know about BvS or Suicide Squad 2 can be watched without knowing anything about 1.

It’s like a zit. The less you pick at it, the less people remember you fricked up.

Yeah, I don’t think WB has the inspiration to go for that after looking at how big an impact 2003 Teen Titans/the shitty successor show to it had on their target audience.

Kek, as early as New Earth it was an infinite multiverse. The most stupid thing about the Death Metal crap is that shit doesn’t even materially affect any of the stories. It has as much substance and impact on the setting as a Ric Flair WOOOOOO

And that’s both dumb, and unwarrantedly self-congratulatory.

Hopes: Zaslav purges the writing staff of anyone who mentions politics on the job and focuses on hiring people who treat writing as a craft.
Ideas: Make a cool Superman movie, you need something recognizable where you can put a regular, not anti-hero edgy, man on screen.
Concerns: Zaslav will not purge enough of the politically focused, writing craft lacking, members of staff

Hopes that won't happen: New and interesting heroes, teen titans, anything related to Batman because it's too soon.

                >Make a cool Superman movie, you need something recognizable where you can put a regular, not anti-hero edgy, man on screen.
Include this one in hopes that won’t happen. Not saying it’s impossible because, let’s be honest, that is basically what One Punch Man is. But it’s impossible with the kind of writers WB is working with who love “hot take” shit like Suicide Squad more than the idea a flying brick can actually be a decent bloke, even if you purge the culture war gang. It’s not the character that makes it impossible at this point, it’s the calibre of people writing him.

                Anonymous

There's a reason one of my hopes is 'literally everyone in the writing staff is gone, and Zaslav hires people who have good craft'.
No matter how good or bad of an idea you put out there...if the writer's bad, it's fricked.

                Anonymous

You can only hope for so much to happen, anon. Good writers don’t magically come out of nowhere, and where they are present people often don’t make the best use of them they could. I think if there were more people able and willing to write good Superman movie treatments, we’d have seen a better Superman movie by now. As it stands, I think there’s more of a chance to see a movie about Darkseid’s rise to power than there is about Superman right now simply because even outside of WB western writers seem to find it easier to write Darkseid than Superman.

                Here's the thing, though.
It's not that good candidates weren't there.
It's that they were obsessed with appearances rather than quality of work.
Why do you think Ezra Miller got as many chances as he did?

I firmly believe that good leadership could right the ship, but purges are necessary as these kinds of people are subversive (and in Miller's case, just plain brand damaging).

I don’t even mind “a better tomorrow” but it’s pretty funny to me how the writers seem to think changing the character’s motto is supposed to be a big deal. It’s not like Superman hasn’t stood up to the government before when he’s thought it’s out of line.

It has been brought up time and time again that Superman is a product of American exceptionalism and people have been trying to remove him from that position for DECADES.
