Agreed. DC has never acknowledged this, but Flashpoint is literally the point where the "real" DC universe died and everything after it has been a fake, a facsimile, a forgery. That's why no one has any emotional connection to any character anymore. People know in the backs of their minds that none of these characters are the real versions and none of the stories count.

I will tolerate some of the 1980- up to Crisis because we got the New Teen Titans there, but for me DC could be only The New Earth Era and nothing else.

True, but that novelty boost was TEMPORARY and so should have fricking Nu52 been. 2-3 years after the Nu52 launch, five tops, it should have ended with another event that restores the 2011 continuity - back when they still had some good talent left.
The problem with n52 was how dogshit it was and how dogshit its handling was. Its like they intentionally chose the worst way to do it.
I understand needing the PR and profile boost and doing a reboot. Business is business. But frick, at least try to do it properly instead of poisoning the well.
I don't think that they tried to frick it up on purpose, I think they simply were in panic mode and it turns out launching a brand new shared universe with hundreds of characters and 52 monthly comics is hard.
Now 5G, THAT was them trying to frick it up on purpose. In no fricking way did anyone think replacing Bruce Wayne with some random Black would actually last.

It didn't need to be a reboot though, because it's not like most of the books even started at 0 anyway. If you just put the same effort into new #1s with a better direction and better creators(DC had a ton of bland art pre-52 and a lack of direction for a bunch of characters) it would've been just as successful. Marvel could get new readers in the 2000's even coming off their convoluted late 90's.
People love to say Batman didn't change or lose anything but that's untrue. Because characters like Jean-Paul Valley or Cass got erased it meant entire arcs and tpbs were invalid

And uh, I guess an earthquake happened in the past, but nothing like the NML tpbs. Dick was Batman for a while, but don't read all the material from that era because it didn't happen exactly like that anymore.
And Justice League: Origin, the start of The New 52, was 2012. And according to the Mayan Calender 2012 was the end of the world... it just wasn't OUR world.

And the solution for this isn't another reboot like some people are suggesting. What are you going to do when continuity is a mess again? Start another reboot? A reboot is a temporary fix to the problem plaguing the publication.
I don't want a reboot. I want a complete and explicit reversal of everything back to 2011.
That was 13 years ago. It's too late at this point.
All you can do is accept that DC ended in 2011. Everything after that is an "alternate universe" that doesn't count. New 52 was just DC's version of Heroes Reborn.
Flash has never been good.

Honestly, this story and the ones that follow involving Flash and the Speed Force make me think that the Speed Force is alive, sentient and manipulating all speedster.
