      >Bizarro Joker’s gimmick is being the most sane man

So he’s just some guy then.
      That’s frickin’ funny.

I mean, Batman is forced upon a lot of DC's modern comics, but that example is both tame and while it could have been better set-up, Batman had already appeared in that arc and Gotham City was implied to be of specific interest at a later point, during Supes and Bat's conversation while Superman tried to keep the Bizarro spell from spreading beyond Metropolis.
And then they didn't even do the regular Joker Shtick and did something they hadn't done with existing concepts before (A different, true-Bizzaro Joker had appeared before, but he was more of a background gag). Surprisingly, they actually added new depth to Joker and Superman's relationship without having to actually change the status quo. A lot better handled than the last time they tried to really bounce these two off one-another, and it was just Superman ridiculing the Joker until he got fed up and left.
I don't disagree that Batman is overstuffing the current comic catalog, but at least complain about something that wasn't fun to read.

      Wonder Woman

      Another Superman.

I'm describing a specific example. Not a bait and switch. It's literally the Joker showing up for no reason at the end when a non Batman character has a boring story

LOL! I didn't know they were picking favorites this hard.

This one is fine. It makes sense that a series focusing heavily on Bizarro universe characters would feature a sane Bizarro Joker because it's funny and makes sense for the story.

    >today
Anon, you can see that shit in comics from the silver age, and that's ignoring covers that were bait, and literally lies.

Are you fricking kidding me that you are sperging out over a comic baiting up a popular character? it's at least clearly the next plot point and related in that sense.

Again, I think you are being silly at best. I get it, you are tired of the joker, but again this hardly new, even with the specific example of over using a character currently popular. Do you think Batman never appeared suddenly at the end of an issue that's not doing too well as bait?

Also, how you are you ok with bait and switch out of nowhere, and lies, but using a popular character in the next arc and teasing it is too far?

You aren't understanding. I'm not just sick of the Joker. I'm sick of the Joker being used as a "to be continued" stinger. It's become so cliche now that it even affects movies.

            No, anon, (you) aren't understanding.
It really is "How are you so tired of this trend when it's hardly new and not even the worst that comics have ever done?"
Sure, if you are saying "BUT NOW IT'S ALWAYS THE JOKER!" and that bothers you, I get you, but it really is just the current fad. When Spider-man was at full throttle, he would pop up out of nowhere in every other Marvel character ongoing, and you bet the teased him, and you bet he was in the cover next chapter too, obviously. Of course, I am using a Marvel example and maybe that bothers you, but Batman got the same treatment with DC when he last exploded in popularity, and you can bet again that it wasn't just the one time. He have had several explosions of the sort. A villain is easier to put in there, so what can you expect?

What I am trying to say is: This is not surprising nor new. If the numbers stop working for them, then he will stop popping out until he gets big again, or he might be replaced by a new villain if a movie, tv show, or anything of the sort, makes them suddenly popular.

I'm literally just pointing out a specific trope happening where Joker appears at the end of a book as the stinger. I'm not talking about anything else. Just a specific thing that happens more than you'd expect.

That’s what they do in Batman comics: 3 or 4 shit arcs with the author’s faves like Catwoman or their new OC, sales plummet, then bring Joker back to save the book and bring sales back. Rinse and repeat.
Example: the most recent Joker Year One making huge sales after Gotham War flopped. Now they just outsourced him to help Superman too.

Joker is essentially DC's Doctor Doom. Try not to let this affect you.

More like DC's Squirrel Girl. At least Doom is a sovereign. Makes sense a king would just stick to the F4

Harley is DC's Squirrel Girl, anon. And Doom does not 'stick to the F4', he's in literally everything.

yeah i made a typo and meant "makes sense Doom WOULDN'T stick to the F4." Context be damned. Guess i just need to be as correct as possible.
Also Harley is DC's Miles Morales at this point.
