DC's highest selling character
>gets top billing with artists
>gets top billing with big name writers
>gets treated like a god by everyone in the company
>other heroes have nothing but the utmost respect for him
>has a bright future to look forward to considering this has been the case for the last 30 years
Marvels highest selling character
>gets second rate artist who outside of covers are barely trying
>get throwaway writers and editors who only care about pushing their OC
>no one in the company cares about his supporting cast or legacy, they only see it as a wagon to promote themselves
>is mocked or hated by the greater Marvel universe, even its heroes despite how many times he saved their asses
>60 years of comics with only 30 being actually good and the rest being the absolute lows with a few ups here and there
say what you want about DC, but they know what sells and what keeps people happy
wich shows in the monthly sales

Oh look another copy pasta thread
DC Comics look literally killed off Bruce Wayne and replaced him with an black Batman.
And they made his Robin into a wienersucking homosexual.
And Zdarsky implied that Bruce Wayne is a homosexual and tried to have him kiss Ghostmaker, another homosexual.
>And Zdarsky implied that Bruce Wayne is a homosexual and tried to have him kiss Ghostmaker, another homosexual.
>he fell for queerbait
LMAOOOOO
>literally killed off Bruce Wayne and replaced him with an black Batman.
>Oh no Batman is black in 1 out of 30 of his ongoing and it's not even the main comic.
heroes have nothing but the utmost respect for him
>is mocked or hated by the greater Marvel universe, even its heroes despite how many times he saved their asses
Well yeh, that’s kind of spider-mans role, he’s an underdog
>Well yeh, that’s kind of spider-mans role, he’s an underdog
theres a difference between being a underdog and being everyones punching bag
even the fricking F4 hate Spidey now
what comic is this?
Marvel Team-Up from the 2000s, not sure which issue. It was written by Kirkman
Underdogs have to be justified.
Peter is a fricking paragon in marvel, or he would be if the writers didnt have an agenda.
It is because Sony owns Spider-Man’s film rights.
Marvel is still butthurt over that.
If Disney bought out Spider-Man, things would be different. Look at X-Men and Fantastic Four.
It's still fricking ridiculous that they treat him.like shit cause "hurr durr we can't.make 100% profits out of this characters".
The same thing with X-men for over a frickin decade...
Yah they fricked the mutant so hard that every single one of them packed up and moved to a fricking island
Didn't Krakoa bullshit happen after Mouse got Muties back to Marvel?
homie, you think Mickey Mouse gives 2 twelfths of a shit about comic sales or comic fans.
they can just run your precious funnybooks at a total loss forever just to IP-mine ideas from their $4 morbillion acquisition that they adapt into billion-dollar franchises.
the mouse just likes the smell of the cheddar.
Batman, Spider-Man, Golden and Silver Age Superman, the three perfect superheroes.
Spidey should just move to DC already, he's the only true hero Marvel has
You forgot Bronze Age Superman
No I got everything that was applicable.
Wow you’re a pleb if you don’t like Bronze Age Superman
You're a pleb if you liked it.
Bronze Age Superman was all about deconstruction. Only good stories in the 70s and 1987+ for Supes were in the movies
The bronze Age is underrated A.F.
The Universe hates Spiderman to the point its bleeding into the real wrold...
Also there's the fact that Sony owns the movie rights
>Next scene isn't Batman trying to pull his hand away and leaving his glove behind
>because sticky hands
>is mocked or hated by the greater Marvel universe, even its heroes despite how many times he saved their asses
It should be pointed out that this has only been true since the 2000s. Before that, Peter actually stood up for himself and told the Avengers to go frick themselves more than once.
Boohoo, that happens to pretty much all superheroes in Marvel, they all get shit on by some segment of the populace, Spider-Man isn't special in that regard.
>is mocked or hated by the greater Marvel universe, even its heroes despite how many times he saved their asses
>Peter actually stood up for himself and told the Avengers to go frick themselves more than once.
Those aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, Peter being standoffish no doubt made him unlikable. He clashed with everyone, even the F4 on many occasions. And the Avengers had that period where they didn't trust him and dragged him through a lot of shit.
Marvel is more relatable and with a better partner
>batman has multiple events and is almost always one of the main characters in them
>peter never has any massive event of his own and the smaller spider events have been mostly about venom and carnage
Bats and Spidey aren't as good as Bats and Hulk together.
Man DC characters are surprisingly good at handling the hulk.
and they still find time to shit on Peter
Yeah the crossovers was pretty great and that was the icing on the cake.
Pre-52 Bruce was the eternal bro. The only person I remember him messing with was Ollie and everyone screwed with Green Arrow.
>say what you want about DC, but they know what sells and what keeps people happy
homie the entire Tom King run proves this wrong
Marvel's top selling book actually changes depending on what team gets the most fanfare and praise, unlike DC since new 52.
Spider-man is for children, Batgod is for real men
my first Spider-Man comic was Hooky and none have been as good since, I agree
>Spidey team-ups are almost always good
>Writers go out of their way at every turn to make them not happen
Why are they all like this? And why am I more excited for Spidey to show up in Daredevil for an issue than I am about his own book?
He shows up in a miles book though
>other heroes have nothing but the utmost respect for him
frick
Yeah only the worst writers write Spidey now. Pretty sad
>other heroes have nothing but the utmost respect for him
