I hate the MCU, but I'm a bit hyped for this. At least Deadpool has kept me entertained and made me laugh, which is what I demand of a movie I'm paying for.
Am hyped for TVA and Loki!!!! This will be best Deadpool ever bc of them! Disney save the MCU and will save Deadpool! (Tho other Disney properties suck)
>I hate the MCU, but I'm a bit hyped for this
Kek you make me laugh. I've said for ages that the whole "superhero bubble has burst" narrative doesn't matter because people are fickle and a few good movies will have the most ardent complainer suddenly back on side. You can't hate the MCU and then be hyped for an MCU movie that is firmly MCU multiverse shit. I have no doubt that Marvel will frick up future films but the truth is that many people are just waiting for one good superhero film again to all cry that "this is how they should be".
I think you don't really understand the meaning of "but".
I dont like the MCU, I think it's childish and safe despite people claim how mature the subjects are, BUT I enjoyed Dr. Strange and Guardians 2 and I think they were good. Those two being good doesn't erase the fact that the MCU in general, the other many movies, are meh.
I know Disney wants Deadpool and the mutants in the MCU and I don't want that. I'm not planning on watching any MCU movie with the xmen despite I like the xmen because current people behind the MCU are all immature homosexuals and I don't want my fav characters being handled and destroyed by them. But if the MCU includes one movie that might be interesting, say, a solo movie for Storm or Xavier and it's on, I'd watch it.
DP3 I'm hyped because so far they've been fine and I wanna enjoy all the cameos, specially Gambit who is among my top three. I can dislike something and yet enjoy what's enjoyable without compromising because I'm not simple.
Anon, I completely understand the but; I was more talking about a general trend I've seen. There are a lot of people moaning about superhero movies which makes people think that it's done and yet it seems instantly fixable when people are given things they actually do want. I'm just making a point about these culture war commentaries and perceptions not really mattering in the face of viral power. A lot of people who complain about superhero movies as the death of culture also secretly want good superhero movies and are waiting for an excuse (this film is one). Now I'm not saying that is what you want specifically, but your comment does represent that somewhat. That's all.
Well, there is indeed a saturation of hero movies and people are less likely to watch them because their favourite heroes are gone and the main storyline that connected it all already ended.
People are always gonna watch certain heroes though, like Batman or Spiderman. And if x97 was so well received was because the writers dared to challenge their audience.
The original Cyclops showing up would be great just to see DP going off on how he was so badly used in the first 3 X-movies and his embarrassing end in the 3rd one.
It would have cost a hundred thousand dollars to hire him at scale, costume him, script his lines, find space in the already bloated speaking cast and/or crowd scenes (for a guy in a mask that he can't take off! just hire some white guy to stand in back and mumble), insure him on set, feed him on set, accommodate him/cover his air fare if he doesn't live in LA, schedule his scenes (which no you can't do by just having him pop in to film them when he's on his lunch from whatever the frick else) etc etc.
Plus he's dead

They're maintaining th FoxVerse designs for the villains. Jackman is so iconic that really you can put the hair on him and people would recognixe him, but a lot of the antagonists are only known to general audiences by their appereances in the films so it makes sense to keep them that way since the film is nostalgiabait in the end.
Because there is a huge Mad Max esque battle scene. The ones in dark leathers have been trapped in the wasteland for longer. (And there is a Deadpool joke about it, harkening back to the first X-Men movie joke.)
Only watching for TVA and Loki and they only. It will be best then other DP movies even though I hate Deadpool (I hate humor I like serious characters like Loki) because this is Disney and phase 5 which is good and better for MCU than old dumb phases. I hate Disney but Disney is best marvel ever and people agree a lot.
He's in and there is a joke about his casting/failed movie.
>"Wade! TAKE ME WITH YOU!!" >"You got it, my Cajun Comrade!" >Gambit is immediately devoured by Alioth and ceases to exist >"FRICK! Well he was forcing the accent anyway"
2/3
I don't care if the dog is suppose to be seen as ugly, I want to pet it.
i knew he was never gonna wear the mask for most of the movie but this is just sad.
He looks so tired
Yeah. It's called acting.
what the frick is wrong with this dog?
experiments,right?
3/3
his hair looks a lot better here, why didn't they have this be his normal style throughout?
I can't prove it. I have nothing to back it up. I haven't heard any rumors. I am 1000% sure that's Spike.
>you will consume slop and enjoy it
>EVERYTHING I DON'T LIKE IS SLOP
shut it you whiny b***h
>whineslop
I will.
No fricking Channing Tatum confirmed right?
Not yet, but he's been rumored and will most certainly have a cameo at least, considering he's buddies with Ryan Reynolds.
Were the rumours of X-23 showing up really true? I really enjoyed their time together and I'd be ok if at least is referenced.
Who the frick is the guy in the back right? It looks like Colin Farrel's Bullseye, but it couldn't be.
People were saying it's CW Blade apparently
I didn't know the CW did a Blade show.
starring Sticky Fingaz
looks about right
Spike TV. It was Spike TV.
It was Spike TV. It only lasted one season. David Goyer and Geoff Johns co-wrote the pilot and finale.
>Colin Farrel's Bullseye
That would have made the movie for me. He was awesome.
Yeah, I’d watch a movie just to see him in a scene. He was just as cheesy as everything else in that movie, but it worked for him.
Looks like Bullseye to me.
He wears it for a total of Ten Minutes
Deadpool makes a reference to the one Batman movie suit that cant move his neck
That guy on the left looks black.
Is that Toad to the left of Deadpool?
>Juggernaut behind wolverine? huh? isn't he like monster height in Deadpool 2?
looks kinda like the Jug from Xmen 3?
They're doing multiverse shit, so there's no reason it can't be "I'm the Juggernaut, b***h!" Juggernaut.
No Tatum and Keen, no watch
rip casey tatum
They aren't going to spoil the cameos.
Its so weird how we're getting a more comic accurate version of Old Man Logan.
>nb4 that one homosexual starts screaming how its the empty space
Were the Cyclops rumors true?
that he's a whiny little b***h nobody cares about irl? yes
yes they were
That he wrote a letter asking a judge to go easy on a convicted pedophile?
I know Jackman is too tall and handsome for the role, but he's been thoroughly ingrained in my brain as live action Wolverine.
momentary odd thought, but if you showed this to a comic fan a couple decades ago, they'd lose their goddamn mind
I hate the MCU, but I'm a bit hyped for this. At least Deadpool has kept me entertained and made me laugh, which is what I demand of a movie I'm paying for.

>I hate the MCU
You're such a rebel.
If it was still popular you'd call him a contrarian. There's no time where the criticism wouldn't make you butthurt.

Cyclops doesn't show up as anything other than a visor.
That's disappointing. Marsden said they were on the same lot when shooting Sonic. It would have been easy to bring in Cyclops if only for a minute.
It would have cost a hundred thousand dollars to hire him at scale, costume him, script his lines, find space in the already bloated speaking cast and/or crowd scenes (for a guy in a mask that he can't take off! just hire some white guy to stand in back and mumble), insure him on set, feed him on set, accommodate him/cover his air fare if he doesn't live in LA, schedule his scenes (which no you can't do by just having him pop in to film them when he's on his lunch from whatever the frick else) etc etc.

.
all the stars are here
>sell movie on bright and colourful costumes for Deadpool and Wolverine
>All other characters are in dark leathers
Fricking costume designers.

i haven't gone to see a marvel movie to the kino since days of future past, i will go see Deadpool
I wanna see Wolvie's mask already.
Does dp know what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning?
Only watching for TVA and Loki and they only. No Gambit cameo, no watch. Simple as
At least Loki will be there who’s gambit?
He's in and there is a joke about his casting/failed movie.
On one hand based on the other hand frick the executives for not letting my little homie make his heist superhero film
Not gonna lie, I love the Cajun. I'm gonna enjoy him even if he's like 10 seconds..
>"Wade! TAKE ME WITH YOU!!"
>"You got it, my Cajun Comrade!"
>Gambit is immediately devoured by Alioth and ceases to exist
>"FRICK! Well he was forcing the accent anyway"
I hate that this right up their alley.
Alt Wolverine.
Is that DemonDiceKaren on Deadpool's right?
Well, it's gonna make a poolion dollars and you know it.
I am so happy though
Better late than ever.
Why are they even bothering with the sleeves when it looks objectively better without?
who is Harry Potter playing?
It's so funny how he's not ever gonna wear the mask. Who even cares about the colors being right without it
but remind me one thing is he the Wolverine from that Dr Strange 2 universe, or was that stuff a false theory?
