As much as I enjoy their banter and shenanigans, show should have ended in Yellow Eyes' death plotwise. That was a nice closure. Show went progressively wackier as time went on and, because it's a TV show, they never actually had the badget to properly showcase angels, demons, ancient monsters and shit.

The way Sam/Lucifer is being the FRICK out of Dean to the point he's almost caving his head in. The entire time Dean is saying "It's okay Sammy, I'm here. I'm here Sammy.". I unironically shed a tear. Now I understand why people say S5 is the real ending. Then Sam slowly falling into the pit. The only bad parts of the end of S5 were Dean getting with Lisa and living a normal life (they had no chemistry or reason to even be that into each other, plus Dean clearly never even wanted that kind of life. That's what Sam wanted.) and also the cliffhanger of Sam being alive watching out the window.
S6 is alright but yeah, not even close to the quality of 5, let alone the perfection that was 4. Still fun for the monster of the week stuff. I love this show, bros.
Also, Crowley is great and all, but I still stand by liking Alistair more and wishing they had each other's roles instead.

Dean narrating makes me think he's in heaven and he has to learn about Winchester bloodline to protect Sam and his son on earth from whatever threatens the family line. That said, they should have picked up something else for a spin-off, yes.
If they wanted a prequel they should have done John learning to hunt with Bobby and Rufus and young Sam and Dean in tow. Can't have too many strong men in CY+7 though.

I never watch TV shows after there expected end time. Supernatural was supposed to be 5 seasons long, and that's when I stopped watching.

I was impressed with how Supernatural mostly avoided woke shit in the later seasons, considering it was on the CW. They had a couple dykes and that one liner from not Bobby about Trump, but that's pretty tame compared to the other shlock on CW.
