You can reflect bahamut's megaflare. Have to make really judicious decisions with who gets reflect first since you're not likely to be able to get reflect on everybody in time unless you do some grinding first or if you decide to grab some other weapons and armor first.

If you haven't played the pixel remaster by the way I can actually recommend it. The music's great and it's got some nice QOL stuff without changing FF4's story and content around. It's basically a classic experience of the original with minor tweaks and improvements.

But to sum it up, potential protags for the franchise from now on, thanks to Inferno and human multiverse lore, include: OG Bayonetta, Cerezita (possibly as an infernal summon), Violetta, any new character who can make a contract with Cerezita, any new Bayo variants they can think of. And hopefully, Lumen Sages return, depending on future storylines.
But don't get your hopes high for Bayonetta in DeathBattle. Not even Torrian could animate her right, and much less nowadays with the Death Battle and RT sinking. Their 3D department in particular is a mess, as he said

Hmm, interesting. Still, I think that scaling works in a linear franchise such as Dragon Ball, Heroes is when it gets a little wonky. I don't know much about Marvel or DC, but I know that they had a lot of years of publication and there is a lot of things there.
Nothing in Marvel can even remotely suggest that Apoc = PF, same goes for Trunks = Demigra/Chrona and everything else I named. That's stuff DB pulled out of their asses, which is why I'm hoping that they wean off the scale wank they've been huffing this season, because I'm not in the mood to see Thor level Pym or Captain Atom level Atom.
The 'Force is something that Apoc has never even gone against, and most actual heavy hitters in Marvel actively job to the PF. There is no way in hell that he can scale to that. They really should've just had Apoc win via absorption BS, because I can assure you that.

Demigra was a threat even before he ate Toki Toki, and when he did eat her he just become a full on universal threat. Neither of them can be compared to Trunks, who jobbed against Ginyu.
I think Apocalypse scales to Phoenix because if the Death Seed can make a loser like Angel go toe to toe with mega death god, well shouldn't Chad King Pharoah be stronger or just as strong?

Interesting read. Still, I would say that a lot of powerscaling is acurate to Dragon Ball verse. They are all mostly unga bunga bruisers with barely any hax. It is a quite linear progression.
Hyperboles too can be low-key fine. A statement like 'X can create universes" or "X moves thunder-speed" is a lot less doubtable if it's by an unbiased commentator or the narrator, shown on screen, etc. or everyone is already a super-powered planet-buster, in which case moving like thunder is practically nothing anyway in-verse.
