No it got way better as it went on. The early art style is way to rough leading to a lot of the show feeling really flat. Once it got cleaned up the boarders were able to do way more interesting scenes and compositions.
The way she feels the need to put sappy romance and her political beliefs into everything is really annoying, and her taking an extreme hands-off approach on managing SU's writers is why the series went to shit so hard.
Yes, I call it the "Rebecca Sugar having a producer but no editor" effect. RShapbne is done by executives wanting to short their stocks so they can make a profit buying them back after the dip while obfuscating their role in the matter.
In Warner Bros.-Discovery case they cut their good shows from new seasons EXCEPT for Rebeca Sugar content and flooded CN with cheap and crappy "bad childhood Western slice of life" content and waited for Rebecca Sugar to ruin their existing popular shows to lower the value of CN before buying Warner Bros. stock and adding TT:GO to the roster to help further increase stock value before the Warner Bros.-Discovery merger.
Their artstyle was always shit.
Those are the same picture
Both are oversaturated piles of rainbow vomit but the left one has more soul.
Left 6.5/10
Right 4/10
I don’t really think there was ever a point when adventure time didn’t look like an over saturated pile of rainbow vomit
Yea, but it was kind of always bad, then they tried to fix it and made it worse.
I prefer the late seasons, early seasons pb for examplo looks like a slug
Same
You may have a point here, 5th post senpai.
No, it got better, especially Jake.
Need more of these "Present scenes done in the old style" or "Old scenes done in the new style" comparisons, they're fun.
those memes are flaccid here on Cinemaphile
I didn't really hate the later artstyle but I remember being annoyed a the long faces/eyes they started giving characters
As did the writing
>I was filtered by complex philosophical episodes.
You'll appreciate it when you're old enough to post here.

jake looks a lot worse.
>just the artstyle
everything got worse
I appreciated each for different reasons.
We should appreciated what we get but never got what we want.
>Sugar Rebecca
>best one
Sugar's honestly a talented artist and she was the best boarder on SU too by a mile. Shame about you know, everything else.
Did she really do anything wrong besides be israeli?
She made Steven Universe.

Someone in the AT team must have counterbalanced her because the politics in Steven Universe is cringe and overbearing but it isn't in AT imo
Meh. I still think Penn captures the soul of the show better and has a more charming style
really makes you think how is it possible that SU dropped the ball so hard with the models after the third season
yeah she is the most talented person in the show
got even prase by John K
Haters will not admit but Muto is the best one here
I like all the styles but prefer the later seasons
wait what is the story with the left ones?

Wait what the frick they changed all the episodes art styles?
define worse?
yeah i always preferred it when PB and the girls had smaller faces
was cute
So I'm rewatching Adventure Time with the senpai and got to the Brocco episode. Why couldnt PB just make a frick-bot of herself for Finn?
Oh so thats how you get that censor word.
It's so weird how the series has changed so far.
