Honestly, I'm a bit worried that the writers will realize they've boxed themselves in like this and rather than do anything negative about a female black character, they'll just have Mark stay with her and scrap the Arom Eve relationship entirely. Which will obviously have huge ramifications further on in the story but the show may very well get canceled before that matters anyway. The longer they drag on the Amber thing the more I'm worried about this.

Everything just feels so lifeless, every dialogue bit is unnecessary and wordy.
There are no interesting compositions and everyone is devoid of any expressions.

I feel like this show is trying to do waht JoJo did, where it makes up for limited animation and worse art than the source material in other categories. JoJo does it with incredible music, voice acting, and sound design, whereas Invincible basically only has the voice acting going for it, and even then its more the star power than the actual quality.

They seem to take themselves very seriously. They love the drama, the long conversations, "exploring" themes, the characters looking sad to the sound of licensed songs.
What was nice about the comics was how casual everything was.
