He was a useful idiot who fell for the “just work hard and be honest bro” meme and somehow realized life isn’t that simple at middle-age. The guy was an complete moron. It’s always funny to see people here sympathize with him, imagine having that childish of a mentality.

This movie is about shitty urban planning. Imagine being stuck in a fume-spewing metal box crawling through a shadeless inhuman concrete maze for hours a day under the relentless sub-tropical sun. I'd go insane too.

this, i lived in that shit-hole state for 30 odd years and I've went up and down that same fricking highway that leads to LA. From Orange county past Pomona, the traffic is unbearable and the morons in charge of trying to """fix""" the ten is never ending and always shit. Sure this was made in the late 80ties/early 90dies when it was still slightly reasonable but it was still a shit-scape.

The movie specifically states he never abused her she just "felt scared" like he "could" abuse her. Astronomical difference.

It's supposed to feel a little disjointed, if I understand what you mean correctly. It all takes place in a single day with a series of unfortunate events pushing a "regular guy" over the age. It's supposed to play like a really hectic day where everything keeps going wrong and is chaotic

Society failed him. If he had an opportunity to gather like minded people he would have built big high tech company, which would earn billions, then they would laugh at sociopaths who would come to interviews in ironed out suits and try to explain how they are good fit for the company.

Klaus Schwab and his masters think that they have 7 years to enslave all Humanity, but they don’t have shit. Changes are happening fast.

Russian invasion of Ukraine topples plans of Globalists. Now, they don’t know what to do with loser Russia. Deep down they are scared to live in a World where Russia lost.

The same thing happened when in 2008 Americans were told that bankrupting greedy banks would destroy financial system. There is no evidence that banking system would have failed. 30% of corrupt banks going bankrupt is not a tragedy, America lived through 1929 when 80% of economy tanked, and after that Americans had risen again even more stronger. This is how free market supposed to work, companies and countries go bankrupt and fail, the whole system is kept clean and healthy.

Cleanse the World from corrupt and morally bankrupt Russia. The whole Humanity will become cleaner and fresh.

When China sees how the West subdued authoritarian Russia, they will respect the West for being strong. China wants two polar World, it wants to rule the World together with America.

America ruled the World as one Power without opposition from failed USSR from 1991. In those 30 years nothing good happened. It is time to return to Two Polar World. The West with America, the East with China. Balanced as all things should be.

What was he doing for that whole month of unemployment? Why did he still pretend to go to work with his briefcase and apples? Was he one of the non economically viable from the movies beginning?

Literally just leaving the house to pretend he's going to work. He did it so his mother, wife, and daughter don't know he's unemployed. And yes he is not economically viable now
