It doesn't look like they get the appeal of Animal Crossing. I don't see any real customization- just different placement of facilities and different articles of clothing. I doubt you can visit the villages of other players where one is all beach-themed while another is completely villains.
The princesses look cute, the game looks like a fetch mission with minigames but I will check it out for sure for the girls. Your character looks pretty stacked too.
This looks like a good game, but I wonder how far it goes? (remembers what happened to Skyrim when the modders got it) Wall E, Buzz Lightyear, Mermaid, Mickey, these are all Disneycorp characters. Is there any sign of Peter Pan and friends? Sequels like Return to Neverland are at least as attention worthy as Ratatouie, though the Pan license is held outside the Disney corporate kingdom. I never liked Moana, but would that mean no Lilo and Stitch? Goofy, but no Goof Troop?

The graphics are beautiful but I can play clean up games for free on Google Play. Also the cultural turn has me tirning away from Disney products.
