i dont know anyone who is subscribed to all of those, at most its like netflix, hulu, hbo max, and disney. Amazon prime comes with the streaming service so that doesnt really count
Poor woman. Probably swarmed by manlets with height fetishes since normal tall guys prefer average height girls. I'd just do artificial insemination after graduating if I were her.
not everyone cares about height you moronic psycho narcissist, she's clearly signaling she wants someone educated and that's what she cares about. Why would she care about some moron whose ego would get in the way because she's taller and is incapable of treating her like a person because of mental illness? That's you, and it's people like you. Just so you're aware, if you were confused as to why you have to shit up everything everywhere you go with your egotistical nonsense
With Blu-rays you at least own an actual copy. But you are still getting cucked by the DRM shit that prevents you from making copies of a thing you supposedly own, while pirates actually own their copies and can do with them whatever they want.
Streaming is barely better than regular television. Though with TV you could at least record shit on VCR.
>used to watched everything on a Jellyfin server >new apartment won't give me access to the router so I can't watch anything on it when I'm out of the house >start mooching logins to streaming services >now have access to Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, HBOmax, Apple, and Disney plus >nothing worth watching on any of them
Streaming is a fricking meme.
It's the goyslop tax. They get to program your brain with ZOGGED content and you pay them for the privilege.
I get sick to my stomach when people open up netflix looking for something to watch.
IIRC you still have to watch ads on Hulu, almost as many as you'd get with cable. Genuinely insane how people are willing to pay for that kind of disrespect because they're so scared of torrenting.
I have friends who refuse to even install Adblock on their browser because they're convinced Navy Seals are going to kick down their door for not watching 2 minutes of ads when they pull up a funny Youtube video.
I miss zapping through random channels, falling asleep watching wathever is on or just background noise, I know there are alternatives like Plex or, hell, just pay for cable, but it just isn'tt the same thing
i miss coming home from school and getting up the right channel so i could catch my usual TV shows.. but it also sucked when they decided to change the schedule and stop showing my stuff. cartoons were pretty consistent atleast
i miss coming home from school and getting up the right channel so i could catch my usual TV shows.. but it also sucked when they decided to change the schedule and stop showing my stuff. cartoons were pretty consistent atleast
I do sometimes too, but then I visit my parents who still watch regular TV all day long. And it fricking sucks ass. Only garbage on all channels so you end up watching some ancient scifi/sitcom shows or documentaries. And ad breaks every 20 minutes or so.
honestly at this point i want to go back. I recently got Paramount+ for a month just to check it out and the interface is so unforgivably awful there's not a chance in hell I'm renewing it. It's fricking impossible to find anything; the catalogue on there is actually insanely huge but you wouldn't know it due to how shit the app is at showing you what's on offer. Your only options are the homepage (which shows a tiny random selection) or the movies/shows tabs which list a few dozen offerings in alphabetical order and that's it. Every single streaming service is like this, if you don't already know exactly what it is you want to watch then you're never going to find anything worth watching. Disney+ is the exact same shit. You'd think with how much money these services rake in they'd spend a little of it curating content based on your tastes, like Spotify does for example. But no. Here's our latest cheap slop and if you don't like it frick you.
just give me a TV guide type thing that shows me what's on today. I'm sick of endlessly flicking through these shitty laggy streaming services trying to unearth something worth watching. It's taking the fun out of watching movies.
I pirate almost everything I watch but I used to enjoy using Netflix back when it was pretty much the only service because it was good at recommending stuff I wouldn't have sought out on my own. I don't always know what I want to watch, I want to browse like I'm in Blockbuster. That was the draw of a streaming service with a large catalogue: if you didn't know what to watch you could find something pretty easily. But now that's no longer the case, all of them are just trying to push their own original content (which is usually trash) while burying all of the classic movies and shows that don't help sell their brand.
e.g. I managed to find Speed on Paramount+, which I had never seen and ended up watching, and it got me thinking what other classic action movies are on there. But could I find them? Frick no. There was a tiny selection in the "more like this" tab and most of them were completely unrelated. It's a joke of a service.
>the catalogue on there is actually insanely huge but you wouldn't know it due to how shit the app is at showing you what's on offer.
same with HBO MAX. So much kino on there buried by shit like THE LAST OF US on every other suggestion
i pay a subscription to mercadolibre (south american amazon) for free shipments, but it also gives me disney+ and star+ for free and it's a fraction of the subscription value. i wouldn't own the services otherwise, i always pirate everything. but sometimes it's convenient, "oh i got some time to spare, let's watch an episode of it's always sunny" and pop star+. it's ok i guess
Oh that's what you mean.
Lol no, the "TV license" in UK, Germany and co. only give you guaranteed access to the state-funded channels. You are basically paying a tax for the upkeep of the State-TV stations. You'd still have to pay extra for cable channels.
Because if youre a normal human being with a job and social life you cant, literally cannot watch all this content. The idea is you just pay for the one you like the most. I do not buy any btw none of this shit is worth watching.

every fricking time. why is this? why are some movies included but not others? just put fricking everything on there and maybe i'd pay for it.
>wanted to watch that recent mortal kombat movie
dont bother it's complete garbage. And yeah it's annoying as frick how you always get results for services that want you to pay extra. Everyone is paying out the ass for these services but nothing is actually included in them.
Hulu is one of the few I haven't got rid of cause of the Fox catalog, still hate the idea of giving my shekels to Disney tho. HBO stays cause of the CN shows and Curb, but I'm pissed that none of the EEnE specials are on there, frick Amazon Prime. Still gonna cancel those once I move out, my mom will just watch whatever stupid thing the algorithm recommends to her. The gold age of streaming was what, like 10 years ago, and it took us until 2017 or 18 to cancel DirecTV and switch over cause our Internet used to be God awful out here. Feels bad man
>Have to pay exactly $83 >1/3 of content is advertising
vs. >Pick and choose, removing any one of those would make it less than cable >No ads, getting those streams with ads would cut cost to under $60
What a disingenuous crock of shit, I wonder if "CableTV.com" has an agenda here.
I pay for basic ass Hulu and Netflix, about it >just pirate!
alot of the shows I watch aren't available on torrent sites until a day or two later and sometimes aren't even uploaded at all >basic torrent is only a few megs with 3 or 4 seeds >720p version is so badly encoded it's over 2gigs but has higher seeds >1080 has next to no seeds and is around 5gigs >none of them have subs baked in like I want
The worst part about cable is that there's no longer ANYTHING new shown on regular TV, it's the same old shows having reruns over and over and over again.
There's no longer any comfy just sitting in front of the TV and watching a new show or new episode.
The good thing about TV is just sitting down, turning it on and not having to put any more thought to it more than maybe swapping channels. With streaming services you pretty much have to already know what you want to watch before starting it up, so you might as well just pirate it.
I don't know what cable is so I don't care.
i dont know anyone who is subscribed to all of those, at most its like netflix, hulu, hbo max, and disney. Amazon prime comes with the streaming service so that doesnt really count

Poor woman. Probably swarmed by manlets with height fetishes since normal tall guys prefer average height girls. I'd just do artificial insemination after graduating if I were her.
Her BMI is 27.5, making her overweight, not obese. Also for a roastie she seemingly has a good personality.
not everyone cares about height you moronic psycho narcissist, she's clearly signaling she wants someone educated and that's what she cares about. What a moronic chart.
I’m any case, if you don’t just pirate everything you’re probably gay.
Average pirate prices:
YIFY - $0
rarbg - $0
nyaa - $0
qbittorrent - $0
1337x - $0
rutracker - $0
yt-dlp - $0
Total? $0

Nobody gives a shit about ownership moron. The only thing people care about is relative affordability and convenience.
Well I care. And I think less of people who don't care.
lack of ownership impacts convenience.
it's not very convenient when things you've paid for just disappear
if no one cared you wouldnt have to call him a moron thus belittling his view the fact that you have to shows people care
Stupid troony like paying israelites and is proud of it
How can you afford all this?
He's a chef at wendys.
Earns a janitors salary.
Yeah this, install Plex and enjoy an even better interface than any other streaming service too.
No, I don't use my TV and pirate everything.
I torrent, not because I'm generally unwilling to pay but because you'd have to pay for all of that shit if you want access to every good show.

I have Arrow Player and The Criterion Channel and that's it
it's only going to be adfree until their rival is dead, then it's open season for double-dipping to infinity.

so why don't you immediately shift to

I pirate almost everything I watch but I used to enjoy using Netflix back when it was pretty much the only service because it was good at recommending stuff I wouldn't have sought out on my own. >amerikeks are on the hook for $1068!

It might be because there are approximately 12 months in a year in most countries
Oh that's what you mean.
Lol no, the "TV license" in UK, Germany and co. only give you guaranteed access to the state-funded channels. You are basically paying a tax for the upkeep of the State-TV stations. You'd still have to pay extra for cable channels.

Note that I refuse to pay for either so I'm not biased

I pay for Hulu so I can watch Family Guy, American Dad, and King of the Hill on a loop.
I used to watch Seinfeld too but that moved to Netflix so now I have it downloaded on my PC and run it through Plex.
