What we're seeing is a bunch of self-aggrandizing buttholes mistaking their shit personality traits and nonexistent self-control as anything other than them being lazy, shitty people and self-diagnosing as autistic (because it's cool now for some reason) and acting the way they perceive autism to be in their weird bubble/narcissistic haze. I've been autistic for 3 decades. I know what it's like and how fricking confusing everything is from my perspective. There has never been a fricking moment I, or any other autistic person I've ever met, has girlbossed around dropping "unbridled truths." Autism isn't "saying it like it is." Autism is genuinely not fricking understanding the stupid, confusing, pointless bullshit the normal humans frames social interactions around.
They think autism is this condition that makes you quirky and whimsical, like Willy Wonka. It isn't. Autism means having the human need for companionship and affection, but not the skills to obtain it. But the variables are never the same. It's a lifelong curse that some people get to use to their advantage, but most don't.
