Look, Libby's poor, like arguably poorer then Molly and her bookstore has no customers in it and realistically should have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy awhile ago

The tunnels are important because it allows Libby to break into Davenports and take stuff since Maxwell cheaped out on the security system.

Maybe when they're kids who are fed constant lies about how autism is something to be proud of or some other bullshit to try and make them feel better. But I'd like to think most of them, or at least the high functioning ones, learn that it's not actually a good thing. It may give an edge in extremely niche cases, but by and large it is mostly a malady. Frankly a curse that can only really be hidden, never totally cured, at least not yet.

the thai shit was almost lifted word for word from amphibia who set them up a blueprint. they even kept doing the same stinky coconut joke
the homosexual ghosts came off as abusive and andrea's lesbo crush was an ugly self insert
june's autism is basically summed up as she once blurted out something slightly less rude than what comes out of scratch's mouth most of the time, and can hack computers... so i guess andrea is an autist too?

I think whats worse is that if you read the S3 scripts it truly does feel like a Jackie from S4 of Star Vs situation where Andrea's romantic choice doesnt have a personality outside of just being an object of desire for Andrea

Then, when they pair off immediately after the Ep you never see Andrea again. Thats it. That interaction is the peak of her poorly thought out story arc and the rest of the series is focused entirely on Molly, Scratch and Olly

Autistic children do whatever dumb shit they want and then try to use their autism as an excuse. The more I've dealt with them the more I've learned that all the positive messaging like "your autism won't hold you back in life, you can do anything everyone else can" isn't about making them feel better but removing their excuses for being lazy and self entitled.

Kind of. There are a number of spergs that genuinely believe in autistic supremacy. Normally they're terminally online, reddit is full of them, and it's likely that a number of them are "self-diagnosed" meaning they're just weird and latching on to something and not actually on the spectrum.

    Diagnosed autistic guy, here.

I don't, personally. Neither do most, I assume. I think it's only a vocal minority who do this cringe shit, mainly leftist kids who think it's their personality. Especially the ones who are """self-diagnosed"""

The best thing about being self-diagnosed is that you can easily retract it if it's convenient since there are no official papers or data to keep it glued to you.

        Anonymous

I dislike the self-diagnosed types. It's one thing for someone to suspect they might be on the spectrum and make some adjustments to accommodate. It's another for someone to say they're on the spectrum just because they declared it. They could just be a fetishizer, but they say they have it so they demand you accommodate. Usually there's a sob story about why they can't get an actual diagnosis, and that hooks some bleeding-hearts into defending them.

That's a common one, usually accompanied with saying American healthcare sucks. Another is parents will not let them see a doctor. My favorite is one I've only seen a couple times, but their doctor is a quack that will not diagnose them with autism, but they just know in their hearts that they are autistic.
