Why wasn’t a media player invented that’s basically a giant ipod but for movies? Like rip all your discs onto one device and just got lay them from a menu? Saves issues with streaming and you could have blu ray quality all the time

Hard drives are expensive and blu rays are about 50GB each so they'd fill up very fast.
