No, he said that after reading the rumors online, he asked Feige if it was possible to approach Cruise for a cameo, but Feige shot it down because there wasn't enough time.
ah thx for the clarification. still means iron man was intended tho even if it was for a very short time

Doesn't seem like it went any further than a conversation. Certainly not long enough for Waldron to actually write scenes for him.
Iron Monger came closer to being in the movie than Stark.

Jim looks cool. Why is Cinemaphile so averse to him playing the main Reed?
hes too nice & friendly for the role. works for a more old reed with a family tho

The reason why Captain Britain and Captain Marvel don't really seem to care at all when Reed and Black Bolt got brutally murdered is that they didn't reshoot their reactions - originally Balder, who was an unstable psycho that the rest of the team loathed, got killed and the gag was meant to be that the rest of the team were almost happy to be rid of him.

shooting reactions to their deaths wouldve gone a long way to show how suprised they were at wandas powerlevel. what about iron monger?
An easy way around that is to have gone for an alternative design; something recognisably the blue FF suit, but different.
Hell, I think the fourth one in
Alternative suits for Reed.

is already a reference to the uniforms in the 90s B-movie. That would've been fine.
It would have made sense to emphasize Chthon taking over Wanda, so their most popular female character can still be viable.
Instead they decided to be retards and make the Darkhold so ambiguous that many people think Wanda is evil and murdered of her own volition, all to make it more like Bendis
This is the angle they should have gone for. Instead alot of people now believe Wanda is a psycho and the Darkhold didn't do anything.

I remember you homosexual(s) whining about Darkhold possession being the cause of Wanda's madness as late as last week.
The Marvelous Melvyn, a variant of Strange who has no powers and works as a street magician. Bruce Campbell's Pizza Poppa basically took over his role.
Strange, Wong, Wanda and Mordo in the "Incursion Universe" filled with dead variants of Strange. Seems like this would have been Nightmare's realm where he is keeping Chavez after he manages to kidnap her, and where the heroes must go to save her and stop Nightmare.
Final battle between Strange and Nightmare in a dreamscape modeled after the lake where Donna died. The four red dudes in the background are identified as "Knights of Wundagore" and had something to do with Wanda's descent into madness.
maybe? its never been explained much outside of that but derricksons script doesnt sound like it had any cameos. the only variants we know of in it are of strange
shame indeed. nightmare is a great villain that id love to see on screen. id say maybe next time but theyre doing time runs out so. atleast he cant get butchered like malekith

Really missed out on a well designed, 1 to 1 costume for Reed huh?
Why waste it on a disposable Reed?
middle and mid right are growing on me, sadly 5 is what we’re getting
I always hated FF with white gloves/boots.
suprised they didnt use 3 or 4 considering 838 was supposed to be more comics accurate
too big
how can he have concept art when Reed was added last minute at post?
He wasn't a last-minute addition.
Iron Man was never intended to appear in it, and they never approached Tom Cruise.
michael waldron has already said that he wanted him in the movie as iron man but the idea never went far due to him being busy with mi
No, he said that after reading the rumors online, he asked Feige if it was possible to approach Cruise for a cameo, but Feige shot it down because there wasn't enough time.

Really don’t get the purpose of adding all that unnecessary black to the suit

Proto-Bullseye costume
This is actually fucking ridiculous. They really went for the absolute WORST design. I'm honestly offended by this, what the fuck were they thinking
>this designs are maybe TOO good for a character that's meant to die immediately. Save these for the main MCU Reed.
An easy way around that is to have gone for an alternative design; something recognisably the blue FF suit, but different.

X likes it so Cinemaphile pretends to hate it so as to avoid looking 'cringe'.
Charles Xavier in his orange hoverchair.

Demon Wanda after total Darkhold corruption.

#3 looks badass
She looks like Marvel comics Lilith. Remember Marvel has a Lilith? Aesthetically she's a dead ringer for Perpetua
Lilith will be the villain of the MCU Blade movie, and apparently they reused some of demon Wanda's concepts to design her.
>Remember Marvel has a Lilith?
Don't they have two? A 70s vampire and the 90s demon from the Midnight Sons books.
So all these creepy designs and none got in the movie?
Very cool.
Probably inspired by Chthon Wanda from the old Byrne Avengers run.
I guess the visual cue that she's "not herself" would have provided Wanda fans with some minor consolation amidst this clusterfuck.
It would have made sense to emphasize Chthon taking over Wanda, so their most popular female character can still be viable.

They deserve to collapse for what they did with the character. And DP 3 is gonna have Phoenix killing psycho Wanda.
didnt she already die in the movie? also i doubt theyre gonna tie it in with the mcu except for maybe a secret wars tie in at the end
no corpse or confirmed soul departure. Its always a fake out
I remember you homosexual(s) whining about Darkhold possession being the cause of Wanda's madness as late as last week.
Choose a narrative and stick to it.
bottom left is fucking gnarly but perhaps wouldn't look great in motion I think
Basically Wanda becoming Chthon.
This is the angle they should have gone for. Instead alot of people now believe Wanda is a psycho and the Darkhold didn't do anything.
> They cut the Nights of Wundagore stuff and replaced it with House of M shite.
Cunts.
its an adaptation of avenges disassembled
The Darkhold stuff is Nights of Wundagore, and yes they sidelined that so they could put the Bendis "muh babies" nonsense.
It's kind of a pattern with Waldron that he cuts out anything meaningful for character's history and motive.
they shouldve sidelined stranges ex and instead had his sister be the one in 838
What are the other instances of Waldron cutting character stuff?
In Loki he pretty much ignored Loki's lore and made the show about everyone except Loki.
So no real examples, just autism. Got it.
Metal as fuck.
hot
Wanda with one of the N'Garai demons, who originally had a bigger role, including a battle with the Kamar-Taj students at Darkhold Castle.

Nightmare would also have demon samurai minions.

Some sort of world war universe where all conflicts seem to be fought simultaneously.
8/7 (I can't count)
Final battle between Strange and Nightmare in a dreamscape modeled after the lake where Donna died. The four red dudes in the background are identified as "Knights of Wundagore" and had something to do with Wanda's descent into madness.

Age of Mythology
wow this would have been pretty sweet as a way to connect the final climax to something integral about strange
Doctor Strange VS. Scarlet Witch no hold barred.
10/7
shame dr strange didnt use anything resembling what he did in infinity war and endgame
This all looks infinitely superior to the milquetoast thing we got
Sneed Snichards.
Shit, there's a ton of interesting ideas here. what a waste.
do they have any 838 iron man concept art? ik they actually wanted to get tom cruise
Whatever.
This looks good. I expected the whole movie to have been shit from the start but I guess not. What happened?
Was it ever explained why the original director left and movie got changed?
feige and derrickson wanted 2 different movies
derrickson wanted a dr strange movie and feige a crossover movie, I get?
maybe? its never been explained much outside of that but derricksons script doesnt sound like it had any cameos. the only variants we know of in it are of strange
shame, fighting Nightmare would have make perfect sense. Fear of losing, fear of anything.
shame indeed. nightmare is a great villain that id love to see on screen. id say maybe next time but theyre doing time runs out so. atleast he cant get butchered like malekith
Any Shuma-Gorath stuff? And no, I’m not gonna fucking call him Gargantos, we all know who he was supposed to be.
for ow he went like a generic bitch, better to call it that
>I’m not gonna fucking call him Gargantos
I headcanon that he's just a lesser SG so it gives Marvel an out to use the actual Shuma-Gorath.
Shit
