The fact that the sequel bait is"Zeus gets pissy and sends in Herc", they'd probably be rivals and the general arc is that Bill is a humble mortal who gained power of a supposed god and didn't let it ruin him while Herc is the opposite.

That would likely be a subplot. Thor himself echoes a lot of the same beats though he was only a man for a minute so he'd likely be played for laughs trying to interject into that subplot as expected of Tiki Whattaburger
Hercules would a sub-antagonist. Since Surtur is already dead I can't imagine who would replace him for the idea of the Main Antagonist who exiled Bill's race.

Write Gorrter out of the movie somehow and bring Stormbringer along, maybe somehow she gets separated from Stormbringer and they loosely work Beta Ray's origin around that rather than Mjolnir. The movie ends with them reunited. In Bill's infinite humility despite needing it give it back to Gorr Jr and will find a new awy to save/help his people without that power. Hercules now a good guy having found his new humility gives Bill the Adamantine Mace in its stead as he has nothing so important that it wouldn't be better in his hands and Zeus can eat a big bag of dicks but not in the way he likes.
