Yeah there’s actually a lot less MEN BAD in this one than in Fury Road. Dementus and Immortan Joe are given a lot more character depth and while they aren’t good people, they have redeeming qualities and you can see how the Wasteland twisted them into what they are.

Yeah there’s actually a lot less MEN BAD in this one than in Fury Road. Dementus and Immortan Joe are given a lot more character depth and while they aren’t good people, they have redeeming qualities and you can see how the Wasteland twisted them into what they are.

George Miller is really good at this. There were a lot of tiny details like this in Fury Road as well. None that I can name off the top of my head but I remember being intrigued by them.

We were supposed to get Mad Max: The Wasteland after this, that seems like a longshot now because of this movie's mediocre box office.
It took 10 years to get this when Fury Road did decently. I think George Miller might be dead, even under circumstances where Furiosa was a big hit.
They had to do a lot of the filming for Fury Road in Africa because Australia went completely green and rainy due to global warming, a lot of the Furiosa sets could have already been used for The Wasteland, they seem to have been pretty extensive and built in Australia, close to the studio's.
It's going to be a prequel as well so everyone will lose their shit about that.
